  1. The gruesome story of Salthor’s final bow came as a shock to Robin, a grip of remorse settling deep within his chest. Despite his own unfortunate meeting with the crazed wood elf, nothing could compare to the trail of blood and fire left in Salthor’s wake on what should have been a joyous occasion. Just how many had this psychotic man tortured and traumatized? While left in unease at the harrowing tale, Robin finds himself with an odd sense of relief. Finally, the man who had stolen many nights of sleep for him could never reach him again. (( It has been a privilege getting to rp with you! Thank you for the spooks and the great character development! <3)) Robin would later find, to his shock and horror, a very familiar sword left at his doorstep. The blade of bone and blackened flesh of a handle brought familiar feelings of phantom pains through his shoulder and across his legs. However, as he plucked the blade from the ground he knew it was time to put this great craftsmanship, however vicious its initial intent was, to a greater use; to better himself, his strength, and his mind.
  2. A man sits in solemn silence, the sounds of the grueling battle and Hsieh-Xin’ s final cries still playing in his mind as if he sat there in the wastelands of the Hou-Zi village. His tired eye opens to thankfully find himself still in the supposed safety of his home, though his spirit remains buried deep within the earth. A heavy sigh slips from his lips, dissipating into the silence as he finally begins to stand. He would not soon forget the kindness or strength of Xin, and he would forever cherish the hope he had given to him long ago.
  3. See? You guys are awesome! Thanks for the welcoming and I hope to see you all around. ?
  4. Hello everyone! So I’ve only just arrived, fresh face, and have plenty of technical questions, but in the sort time that I was finally able to join the server I’m already having a blast. Staff, y’all rock! The folks I’ve met have been super cool and super understanding of my slowness and limited lore knowledge. I can’t wait to get back on and I hope to meet a lot more folks while I’m here! If anyone would like to get together on the server sometime and rp, just let me know here! Sorry no discord lol.

Aren Redwoodcomes from a family of Highlanders, his father a small time fisherman, and his mother a farmer. They heavily followed the Raevir culture as many Redwood turned to agricultural jobs and others working at the Grayhill Mine. Aren was known as a rather rambunctious child with a tendency to wander and get caught up in all sorts of mischief, though never out of malice. He enjoyed exploration, weather it be scrambling through every street of a Reza or chasing after a river current. His family had always preferred the comfort of the outdoors and thus did not live within Reza, but Aren was a bit more fond of the small city scene and was always eager to visit with his parents when they sold their hunt. He was a very talkative kid who wanted to make friends with any stranger he met. While his childhood was largely uneventful, his family faced one terrifying event when their homes were threatened by a large forest fire. Aren happened to be outside at the time and was nearly caught in the raging firestorm, but thankfully a group of soldiers sent to protect the outsider population was able to whisk him from danger. While Aren grew from his experiences into a more careful and smarter teen, his eagerness and sociability were not hindered. He became especially enamored with the towering guards that had helped him and many others. He hung around their areas a lot and their stories of vanquishing foes and perilous adventures always excited Aren. Aren was steadily growing interest in law enforcement, but it seemed his parents were trying to steer him away from such a life. His family were strong traditionalists and did not want Aren following a path not common of their family name, so they pushed Aren towards his father’s humble and calm fishing business. But Aren found fishing horridly boring. To sit in silence for hours just waiting; he couldn’t stand it! Aren had his heart set on a different trade of excitement. The vast forest expanse felt so small and droll to Aren. He craved adventure, big cities, new cultures, and fighting for justice. After only a week of trying fishing, he finally voiced his mind to his parents. While they initially didn’t approve, even they recognized Aren couldn’t thrive in his work and so when Aren was of appropriate age his parents allowed him to enter training with the Reza guards. He learned valuable combat skills and became especially nimble and agile. His preferred weapons are double daggers in short range combat. While it was hard work, he cherished every second while also pursuing an education in humanitarian studies. While pursuing what he enjoyed, Aren still wanted to see more of the world and was beginning to make plans to travel to greater cities where he could pursue higher education. While heavily protested by his family members, Aren had made up his mind and was prepared to leave. His peers wished him well on his journey, but his family had grown cold against him. Still, he was not discouraged and was excited about a new adventure. Something Aren did not discuss, however, was the nature of his education. While yes he did want to improve himself and study more about language and culture, something else had caught his eye that he knew would be totally chastised by his loved ones. Aren was curious about magic, and he was beginning to wonder what good he could bring if he were to learn more about it.
