  1. Kragdin Starbreaker walked out of Kal’Evraal, a piece of parchment in hand. He would stroll through the magnificient hall leading towards Kal’Mugdor, as the fiery eyes of the ancestor’s statues glared at him. As he got closer to the Workers Guild, the Starbreaker heard the soothing sounds of the hammer and anvil, reassuring him that even in these difficult times, his people remained stalwart and unwavering in their will to honor the Forge-Father, Yemekar. As he reached the top of the stairs leading into the Guild, he recognized the Yemekar’s Pick, Dorimnur Goldhand, hard at work hammering a spearhead he held with his tongs. Kragdin leaned on the wall, in Dorimnur’s sight and began unrolling the parchment he brought from the city. ”Oi Dorimnur! Would ye take a break fer a moment, as ah bring good news from t’e clergey.” The Starbreaker would say. The Yemekar’s Pick slammed his hammer to announce a pause in his work. He’d walk to his lunchbox and began eating, waiting for the announcement to come. Kragdin would read the missive out loud, his voice echoing into the Guild. Dorimnur exclaimed himself at the end of the annoucement “Now t’at be ah festival ah’d go to. Nae interested in t’at Belka one w’en we’ve got ah war wit’ ot’erworldleh bein’s, but t’is? T’is be wot weh need.” Kragdin would chuckle at the Goldhand’s comment, saying “Now now, ye dinnae want tae angeh Lady Belka, dont ye? But aye, t’is festival es lookin tae be quoite t’e eventful un! Displeh ov craftmanship, foig’ten, ‘onoren our ancestehs... Ah agree t’is un peaks moi int’rest loike nae ot’eh.” Kragdin would say, his shoulder rolling. “Well t’en, ah’ll leave ye tae yer work, we’ll need plentey ov t’ose.” He’d utter, pointing at the spearhead. “Ah’ll see ye at t’e festival.” The Starbreaker said, already walking away from the forge, pondering on what Dorimnur mentionned about this festival being what the dwarves needed...
  2. As he hears of the annoucement, Kragdin Starbreaker would lay down his pliers and file on the workbench. ”T’e festival? Sae soon? Well, t’at Grandaxe lass certainley ded nae lose ‘er toime!” He’d stand up and walk to a chest, picking up a small aurum bar before returning to his seat in front of the workbench. “Seems loike ah dont ‘ave aney toime tae lose eit’eh ef ah want tae get t’is done fer t’e festival.” He’d pick up his tools and lean forward, focusing on his work once again.

  6. Application Name: Grugni Username: Prifter Character’s age: 196 Biography: Grugni was born to a blacksmith and his miner wife. At a young age, he was taught how to work the forge and mine the necessary ores in order to accomplish his craft. For his Trial of Creation, Grugni forged an axe made of pure iron with a seasoned oak handle braided with rawhide, which he still carries to this day. In the following years, he began forging more and more, understanding that to honor his clan’s tradition, he must become a great blacksmith. Considering his growing interest in armouring, he began writing a book on various techniques an armorer must truly master to elevate his craft. In this book, he wrote about techniques such as planishing, the importance of the safety edge and the ideal heat colours for various metals . The part of the book that took the longest for Grugni to write is the segment about metal heat treatment techniques as he traveled far and wide across the realm to consult many blacksmiths for their opinion on the matter. A few years after completing his Trial of Knowledge, he witnessed the War of the Beards, luckily escaping the war with his life. He fled Kal’Tarak with the rest of his family after the fall of Kaz’Ulrah by the hands of the Coalition and would join Agnarumm with the rest of his clan. After settling in Agnarumm, he heard legends about a forgotten craft named Golemancy that can only be taught by a master. Even if the legends spoke about an excruciating process to learn Golemancy, it sparked something inside Grugni. He swore that one day, he would find a master of Golemancy and prove his worth to Yemekar. In the search of knowledge to become a master smith and perhaps more, he joined the expedition to Arcas and settled in the city of Kal’Varoth where he resides to this day. Ancestry: Unknown.
