The Treaty of Two Princes

ARTICLE I: ON SOVEREIGNTY
The Principality of Sedan and the Grand Duchy of Balian, also referred to as “the signatories” hereby pledge to mutually recognize each other's status as fully autonomous states. Both signatories recognize each other's right to fully rule and govern their territories as they see fit and shall not interfere with each other's internal affairs.
The signatories recognize each other's heads of states as the leaders of each respective territory. The Sovereign Prince of Sedan, Frederick I of House de Joannes and his successors shall be recognized as the leaders of the Principality of Sedan. The Grand Duke of Balian, John I of House Novellen and his successors shall be recognized as the leaders of the Grand Duchy of Balian.
ARTICLE II: ON DEFENSE
The signatories hereby do mutually agree to refrain from direct conflict between each other. Both the Principality of Sedan and the Grand Duchy of Balian shall stand as defensive allies against those who wish to seek harm against the other. Both nations agree to raise blades for the other's defence.
In the event that both the Principality of Sedan and the Grand Duchy of Balian both agree, this defensive alliance may be elevated to a militaristic alliance towards foes that challenge either realm.
ARTICLE III: ON TRADE
For the mutual benefit of the signatories, they hereby agree to allow and encourage trade and the seamless flow and passage of merchants within their territories. Additionally, a tax free stall shall be provided in the capital of both territories.
ARTICLE IV: ON DIPLOMATS
In an effort to ensure diplomatic relations continue and enhance diplomatic communication in the future, the signatories hereby agree to set up embassies in each of their capitals. Diplomats safety shall be guaranteed in the other signatories territories and they shall not face any persecution while there. Should a diplomat cause an issue or violate the law in the other signatories territory then they are to be immediately extradited to their home territory to face judgement from the head of state or whatever internal structure is in place for such an affair. During this time, both signatories should work together to solve the issue diplomatically.
ARTICLE V: DURATION & COMMITMENT
The signatories both mutually agree that this pact is to be in effect for a twenty year span. To ensure the longevity and commitment towards the upholdment of this pact, the Princely House of de Joannes and Grand Ducal House of Novellen shall be united in marriage within the timeframe of the treaty. Upon the expiration of the pact, the signatories have the agreement that the treaty shall continue as long as the marriage between the two houses is still valid. Should the non-aggression between both nations be violated then the treaty and can not be resolved diplomatically then the pact shall be annulled immediately.

"How long will it last this time though. For this is the true question. This map has been soaked in the blood of so many different peoples. Only time will tell what the future will hold."

what's up guys uhh good evening and shit it's like 10:49 PM,
The Administration has for some time been considering the implementation of big changes to the Auction House. Throughout time, the Auction house has been a rather contested topic, one which players have had a wide variety of opinions on. Some wish for the status quo (the same as it is currently), some wish for its removal, while others believe it should be changed but still maintained as a feature of the server. Recently, several nations have voluntarily removed them due to their unpopularity, among other reasons. However, other players do respect and see use in the auction house, and thus, the Administration has wanted to implement changes based on player reception.
Below we’re going to list our four big options on what we could, or should do regarding Auction Houses. As well, any opinions, arguments, thoughts, etc. are encouraged in the replies so that we can gather all the feedback we can, and deliberate not only what to do for next map, but what we can do now.
Option 1 - The Status Quo
This option is the simplest. Simply put, nothing changes. People like auction houses where they are now. Players may decide if they have them or not within their settlements and do nothing more.
Option 2 - Full Removal
The more radical option, this completely removes The Auction House. This spurs local trade and running to specific cities more, goods passing by word of mouth via auto-shops, forum trades, and manually-run shops.
Option 3 - No Signed Items ("The Convenience Store")
A compromise, this option removes only signed items from the auction house. This includes roleplay items, story items such as magical crafts or botanical herbs, and so on. Items may be described, but not signed by players, staff, and so on. This would make The Auction House only eligible to carry unsigned items like raw materials, blocks, food, and so on. Default minecraft items.
This option encourages players to trade their vanilla minecraft items on the auction house, while seeking out shops in cities for roleplay items.
Option 4 - No Unsigned Items
Another compromise, what this option entails is the removal of unsigned items. Meaning, the auction house would only sell crafts of player make and player signage. This could be event items, customized food, armour, gear, etc. like normal, alongside herbs, nodes, etc..
This option encourages players to trade their customized items on the auction house, while seeking out shops in cities for default items.
As a note, we are not considering local auction houses as an option.
Those are all the current options that we have in consideration at this time, and are looking to implement one of those going forward. Additionally, please give any detailed thoughts below that you may have.

Howdy folks,
The Community team is here to give you an update on what's been going on and a brief look into the inside of staff life within the team.
Over the past few weeks, we've been working hard at creating improvements within the team, including new reforms, quotas, and ideals for community outreach, and player retention with new, as well as lingering players. We’ve been noticing a somewhat of a decline in some matters and are taking the chance to draw back some attention towards it.
With that being said, let me give you a little look into what's been done:
- The Community Team has brought back our focus on being ONE TEAM! Media, Wiki, Apps, Events, etc. have all spent a lot of time divided. Now everyone is once again a core member of the team and these have prior sub-teams been split into projects that members can choose to be a part of. Projects will be grouped together
- Media and Wiki has been formed into one grouping called “Content Creation” which will focus on overall content. This includes but is not limited to: the wiki, video editing, skinning, image rendering, media management, and more.
- Events will be drawn under a group called “Community Outreach'', in-charge of running community events and art contests. From deciding on themes, creating and writing posts, creating the items to be given out as prizes, and much more. This focus grouping will also look at player retention and overall community outreach on what players would like to see.
- Applications will now be shifted to once again be apart of a Team-Wide initiative, those members choosing not to participate in a focus grouping will be more heavily focused on other crucial interactions such as monk-guidances, answering questions, and applications.
That being said, our interview discord has been updated to cater to these changes, and we will soon be taking a round of interviewees through the discord within the coming days. With change always comes a new generation and we're looking for people interested and willing to carry the team forward.
