Second Patriarchal Address To the all faithful canonists of our realm By Alfred Patriarcha Jorenus Capital City of Karosgrad, Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska God bless dear brothers and sisters; Most esteemed noble houses; Dear faithful folks throughout Almaris. As the evolution of people, as well as our lives, functions, it is destined that something very evil and full of hatred happens to us at some point, so evil that it could even make God cry. This world of ours, is nothing but one great sphere of various events in which suffer those who fight bloodily for themselves, their loved ones and God, and not those who deviate from the path of God, destined for every believer who with his heart treads the sum of troubles and sufferings before him. As every living being and believer knows, his judgment will come at some point, and only God will be the judge of that heavenly and otherworldly court. When we have God with us, there is no such evil, no malice, no trouble that we should be afraid of, because as it says in Scroll of Virtue: ‘1:9: I am the Lord God without peer, and My Word is the holy word, and My path is the virtuous path, and all the blessings of the Virtue shall fall before the righteous who tread it. In any possible case, no one, not even the Holy Mother Church, can tolerate certain actions and deeds, especially threats and crimes, that are capable of great harm to her dear faithful people. As I write this from the Patriarchate of Jorenus, I think deeply about the ungodly incident that took place in the capital of Holy Orenian Empire, Providence, and I pray day and night for the salvation and safety of all believers in there and all around the world. We are currently witnessing a time in which our faith faces Xannite heathens, the ungodly beings who were on an equal footing with the rest of the world, until a few days ago. Preparations for the upcoming wedding were still in progress, during which Caspian Baelius only wished to sit down for a while, to rest with a cigar. From the balcony of the house he looked at the nearby streets full of people, the windows in the immediate vicinity through which the joy of various families and family members could be seen. All of this, at first glance, was beautiful to Caspian, and warm around the heart. However, something came to him that he did not expect to come. Looking at other families, he wondered where his family was.. He had not seen many members, he himself did not remember how long ago, and he had not even heard of a few of them. Yet he was connected to Jahan Basrid in.. a rather different way, which if you asked Caspian what it is about, he would not know how to explain. At one point, his father, Basil, enters the door of his house. Probably with the intention of wishing him luck for the upcoming wedding, or something like that... but alas, Caspian was wrong. The second story revolved in Basil's head. "Mm, Baba, aloha." the young Rhenyari greets his father with a faint smile, letting the cigar lay in the ashtray, eyeing him as if waiting for his respond. "Caspian..take this." Basil responds with one nod of his head, giving his son a letter before leaving the house with a haste. "But Baba, why did you-" he stops, shaking his head as he lets out a scoff at his father, proceeding to read the letter, but after a few sentences, Caspian's eyes took on a reddish color, one tear dropping down his cheek. The young man crumples the letter, tossing it behind him before slowly glancing up to look at the happy people around him, the death of his Grandfather marking a disastrous moment in his life. Caspian lowers his head onto his knees, saying enormous amount of prayers for the late Sir Jahan Basrid, before finally standing up, his eyes teary just like a waterfall. The Patriarchal Address By Alfred Patriarcha Jorenus Capital City of Karosgrad, Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska Dear Royal Family of the Kingdom of Haense; The most esteemed noble houses of the Kingdom of Haense; & My beloved faithful people, dear church colleagues from every diocese of this world. As the dear Lord commands us, so it will be. As He commanded, so it was. After every rain and storm, comes the clearing of the sky. Neither right nor wrong is on one side, the divisions are bigger than the differences and "here are our general misfortunes", not only yours! You may not understand me best, because some like to hear only what they like, but I believe that people of good will will understand that I am speaking to you with a clear conscience, and that for me you are all equal before God, whom I only serve. People of good consciousness will understand that true sacrifice of Saint Karl, the sacrifice that brought us all home, which we call Haense today. One nation, which has gone through many years of hardship, hard and unbearable moments, is today a nation that should be proud of the successes it has achieved, along with God and its people and state. We realized that all great things happen from some smaller thing, which if we take the memory back a bit, and some things happened by maybe one man. Our saints and martyrs, knights and ascetics, had a fear of God, they believed that God sees everything and they did not want to be ashamed and lose their soul and face neither before God nor before their ancestors. If we want to have a life illumined by the love of God, then we will see to it that we do everything through holiness and purity. And then we will find ourselves that we are sons of light. And if we do the opposite, we will find ourselves sons of darkness. When we attribute a certain way of acting to God, it then affects the image of His character. Knowing what kind of rulers existed in this world, what picture can we expect if we say that He sets up every authority? The shadow of doubt cast by this view of God's goodness, prudence, and omniscience is obvious. Our peoples have gone through all sorts of moments of suffering and anger, which is reflected in some of the works they do today. What would a state be without a ruler, and a ruler without God in itself? Nothing. Nevertheless, the nations always cope, because God himself sees someone's misfortune, so for the sake of his goodness that he possesses, he gives happiness and love of His. This is what makes me, as a clergyman, happy to the heavens, seeing among what nation I was born. The harmony in good that our people have always strived for means faith in one good God, but not just my beloved faithful from Haense, but from every faithful place on this world of His. Those who believe in this way are ready to agree with all other people who want such harmony, that is, harmony in the name of the God of good, who is the source of all good. Every soul is to obey the ruling authorities, for there is no authority that is not of God, and that which is the authority is appointed by God. Thus those who oppose authority oppose the command of God, and whoever opposes will receive sin upon himself. If you want not to be afraid of the government, do good, and you will have praise from it, for the servant of God is for thy good. If you do evil, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain, for he is a servant of God, an avenger of wrath to him who does evil. Thus one should obey not only out of fear but also out of conscience. Be obedient, therefore, to the authority of every man, in the name of the Lord: if to the king, as lord; if to princes, as his messengers for revenge on criminals and for praise to benefactors. But while I write this, I indeed remind myself of the good deeds of our Most Holy Father, who blessed us with many things which came from God, and only Him. The canonist people must remember that the Holy Mother Church has changed recently, and that Pontiff's deeds and judgements must be taken seriously, as the Vicar of God guides us through these horrid and hard times. The Church, as a strong institution in our lives, must stay in our hearts, and her integrity must stay strong as much as our faith in our God, with who we go with a clear mind, following his path of success and unity. Brothers and sisters, let us now go in peace and unity, as only God commanded and commands. Stay to yourselves, celebrate any minor thing that occurs in your lives, be happy everyday and cheer for you close ones and respect your "enemies" as God commands. It is true that a fine and pleasant refreshment has arrived in our Church, with the number of priests growing, the reforms filling the holes that should have been filled a long time ago, and the faith - more widespread than ever! During this new patriarchate, through which I, Alfred Patriarcha Jorenus, will represent God, I will do my best to pass on my knowledge to all the believers of our and other regions, as God commands me. I am writing to take this opportunity to inform you of a very interesting matter concerning one of the very famous persons of our Kingdom of Haense. Your Holiness, please consider the late Queen of Haense, Viktoria vas Ruthern, to be beatified. A queen who risked her life many, many times to defend her homeland and her people, from all sorts of attacks by heathen Scyfling armies. During these bloody attacks and fights, which tried to kill the last glimmer of faith and love in us, the late Viktoria, unfortunately, lost 3 limbs during several fights and still survived! Surviving such a fatal battle with great injuries and three lost limbs is, in my opinion, Your Holiness, miraculous, because God himself took part in it. She was there and she served as a waterfall of morale for the army and the people, which helped us a lot, because if it weren't for certain people, especially her, there might not be a Kingdom of Haense today. I must mention as a chaplain at the time, how pious Viktoria really was, ready to give everything, even to die for the Church, God and the kingdom, which later proved to be true. Her courage has exceeded her capabilities, and I know for sure that the Kingdom is proud of her. The Church of the Canon represents the community of all believers on the server, those who are followers of God and His word. The goal of the Church is to achieve unity between the Creator and His creation, to bring the world and man out of his fallen and limited existence into the freedom and fullness of the Divine life, into participation in the Divine perfections. The first iteration of the Church of the Canon was called the “Temple of the True Faith”, and was formed by the passing on of the Scrolls of Virtue and Spirit by Exalted Owyn.Though at the time, the Temple was under the authority of the Holy Emperor, it was later made independent by Exalted Siegmund after his delivery of the fourth and final scroll, the Scroll of Auspice. To honor this culmination of God’s prophecy for humanity, the Temple was rebranded as the Church of the Canon. Who are Canonists? Canonists embrace the truth of the Holy Scrolls which were delivered by the Exalted, and the Church which was established by Exalted Owyn. Canonists worship only one god, the God of the Holy Scrolls, and accept only the High Pontiff as inheritor of the spiritual leadership of the Exalted. By following the laws set out for them in the Scroll of Virtue, and by obeying the Church which guards those laws, Canonists seek to honor God. Church Administration Like any institution, the Church has its own administration which makes it what it is. Whatever the administration, it is responsible for the work of the Church and its development over time. The administration of the Church consists mostly of Priests, Bishops, Cardinals and the High Pontiff, with the High Pontiff being the head of the Church and there can be only one. A detailed explanation of the administration follows shortly. II. Becoming a part of the Church Ordination of a priest, Basilica of Ascend of Ex.Godfrey, Providence How to begin? What everyone should do, who wants to try their hand at church roleplay, is to either: Approach the clergymen in RP - if you notice a clergyman in a city who visibly reminds you that he is a member of the church, you can approach him and start a conversation about how to become a member of the church. [Look for these people in general!] Join the Church of the Canon discord server, as every important thing/event starts from there. [PM repl1ca#4970 for invitation] This was the first step by which you actually learn the way to ordination as a priest. Once you’ve inquired and gotten enough information, and also joined the Church Discord Server, it’s time for a little work to be put in to become a priest. The next thing that is obligatory for ordination as a priest is to write a thesis - a statement that clearly identifies the topic being discussed, including the points discussed in the paper, and which is written for a specific audience. The thesis itself should be written on the topic of something that is either currently happening in the world, or about a problem, a specific thing, and so on. After the writing of the thesis is completed, the document in which it is written is sent to the bishop who will review it, evaluate it and judge whether it is good enough material for ordination as a priest. In most cases, each thesis passes successfully. Let's take the scenario that you became a priest. From there, everything is easier. The next thing that is probably the most interesting is choosing a skin for your character. Many skins are already listed on the Church Discord Server, so you have a choice! Advancement in the ranks Of course, like every institution on this server, the Church has ranks that determine the position of individuals. Like any other institution, promotion is a normal thing in the Church, and it is deserved in a slightly different way than, for example, in politics or the military. Every man should show pious deeds throughout his life, proving that he fights for God and His word, following only His way. Such deeds, also patience, effort and work, give much importance to one's role in the Church, which later means advancement. When it comes to promotion, we need to know who can promote an individual. The archbishops of a diocese, together with other bishops, have the right to make a priest out of an acolyte. This is possible simply because this acolyte was probably assigned to a diocese controlled by that archbishop, along with the bishops. The High Pontiff alone has the right to proclaim a priest as a bishop, since the High Pontiff is the head of the Church and has every power in the Church, where neither archbishops nor cardinals have the power to proclaim new bishops. The Cardinals are again chosen by the High Pontiff, with the proviso that he is the head of the Church, and only he can elect his possible successors. III. The Curia The Curia is an official body that governs the Holy Mother Church. The Curia is an integral part of the Church, consisting of 6 essential titles, that is, essential organs that assist the Church in its development: The Vice-Chancellor - Manager of internal affairs on His Holiness' behalf. Basically, when the High Pontiff is either absent or at a given moment, day, or month unable to perform his duties, the Vice-Chancellor takes his place until the High Pontiff returns. Introduction In the face of the great changes that have taken place in recent times, I should point out that this report contains the key points of our Holy Mother Church, the key points which in every field have improved the work of our Archdiocese in the Kingdom of Haense. What is being done day by day to improve our Church is a great thing. Encouraging the faithful to participate in liturgies and prayers is another great plus, which strengthens the faith and work of any church, in any place. Having God in our hearts, praying every day for salvation and for all that matters, we should thank His Holiness High Pontiff Owyn III, who, despite his illness, continues to work hard and improve our Church. Praise Him. II. Archdiocese reforms The situation with the archdiocese before the arrival of High Pontiff Owyn III was such that we had one diocese, with a relatively small number of clergy. This information, at the time, was not so bad and worrying. As we approached the disintegration of the old continent and the arrival on this present continent, we realized the need for religion and clergy. High Pontiff Owyn III established two new dioceses: the Diocese of Henrikev and the Diocese of Valwyck. In addition to the new dioceses, there are now about 12 clergymen in the Kingdom of Haense, who are working hard and finding new ways to expand and improve the work of the Church. At the head of the archdiocese is His Eminence Benedict Cardinalis Jorenus, who came at the right time, when the Church needs hardworking and wise people like him. To all that has been stated so far, His Holiness has established the Abbey into the Kingdom of Haense, with the Head Abbot being Abbot Antonius Mihailo Visconti. @Zoprak_Visconti III. The reasonable representation in the Church The changes were also applied in the higher ranks of the Church. The Curia changed considerably, placing Benedict Cardinalis Jorenus @Piov, also the Archbishop of Jorenus, and Alfred Episcopus Henrikev, the new Prelate of the Clergy, in the line of the Curia, also with Ailred Cardinalis Reinmar @argonian already appointed to the Synod. With these additions, the Curia was strengthened significantly, increasing the chance for the Church to come up with novelties and many improvements. IV. Church and Crown Since High Pontiff Owyn III came to the head of the Holy Mother of the Church, the Church’s relations with the Crown of Haense have begun to improve, slowly but effectively. After a minor incident between His Holiness and the Queen of Haense, after His Holiness expressed his sincere apology, the benefits that the Church is slowly receiving from the Haense authorities were noticed. As of this writing, relations are slowly but surely improving, which means that the Church will be more in demand in the Kingdom of Haense, which of course befits a religious nation like this Kingdom. V. The Ruskan Rite reform One of the happier news has reached the Kingdom of Haense, and it is about the reform of Ruskan Rite. Ruskan Orthodoxy was a lively topic of discussion a few years ago, until it was completely stifled by many people who did not want to have that kind of religion. Fortunately, His Holiness High Pontiff Owyn III announced the upcoming reform of Ruskan Rite, which is beautiful to have in Haense, as it took a big part in its past and history. By no means should we exaggerate, but for now, with His Holiness High Pontiff Owyn III, we have managed to do a lot, which is crucial for the development of the Holy Mother Church. Rejoice, for GOD's love will keep us safe.” “Most powerful GOD, we pray that we may find peace in our time. For without Your guidance we would not be here now, and we will continue to exert Your Word, as it is the good word, until we finally find peace within ourselves and with each other. In nomine Patris, amen.” What we feared happened to us ... what we did not want to our greatest enemies, and even less to our neighbors, happened to us. However, that miracle also came, in these already gloomy and difficult times. As I write this, I look out the window every now and then and think why we have experienced this, we who have been with God since birth, who find in Him only the best, what makes us who we are - believers and his Humble Servants. The atrocities of certain people have desecrated our Holy Mother Church, that is indeed inviolable. I personally witnessed a similar act yesterday, where Imperial State Army stormed the Cathedral of the Final Revelation and justly arrested Cardinal Cyril, for unfairly and maliciously talking about His Holiness High Pontiff Owyn III, behind his back. This way I do not want to provoke various violent reactions of the persons concerned, which would certainly be offended by some of the stated facts, but this way I want to invite the faithful to take a few moments for themselves and think about how to proceed further, what to do next and, perhaps most importantly, why . II. Call to reason Our entire nation needs to take a different course through these difficult and challenging times. In writing this, I am specifically referring to a particular group of people who, despite the spiritual and secular knowledge of His Holiness, have done what they have done. I must touch on this topic regarding our High Pontiff Owyn III, because we simply need to understand how much His Holiness, with perseverance and spiritual help from Him, has managed to change many incorrect minds and exalt our Holy Mother Church. Virtue 4:6,7: ‘6 For I have blessed you with My miracle of creation, and you shall draw nearer to My throne by your labors. ‘7 And you shall discover strength of heart as you work the forge and the plow. I repeat the same words again, how difficult and very challenging these times are ... but these times will remain as they are until we, the believers, all together find God in ourselves. By no means must we allow evil to prevail, for God's sake, because as far as I can see, individuals are trying so hard to bring us people and our Church into a bloody conflict. Come to your senses, O my children, do not allow the worst in you to prevail, because if you love and respect God at all, try to prove it. Respond to reason, as stated in the Scroll of Virtue: ‘4 I ordered the estates of the earth, and I have set a path before you. ‘5 And as I have ordered the estates of the earth, so have I ordered your path as well, and established the powers of My world. We have only one path, the path that is destined for us and all the believers of this world, and that is the path of God. If we deviate from that holy path, there is no money, no world power that will save us from eternal darkness, misery and ruin. A man who has overcome his anger and bitterness, his anguish, his malice, a man who has purified himself moves from the porches of God and penetrates the essence of love. He loves man because he sees that man is a creature of God like him, and he loves himself because the one who created him gives him the power of dawn on the gift of life. A man who loves himself in God, he loves life as a supernatural, mystical gift, a gift of no interest, given out of the love of God. III. Recent reforms I gladly return to the subject of His Holiness High Pontiff Owyn III. As I said, the man without whom our Holy Mother Church cannot function, the man who spends his days and nights in prayer and who is where he is to fight for the faithful and all that is holy, is he, High Pontiff Owyn III. Everyone has their own personal opinion of him, it is true, but the indisputable fact is that he is the head of the Church and that no person can object to him. We must now into his shoes, if we are to be certainly equal - the attempt to assassinate him was the first inhuman and ungodly act that a man can do. What His Holiness goes through every day, we cannot know, but we can know with certainty that what he is doing is what is good and what is valuable in this world, and that our Lord guides him. And he makes mistakes sometimes, like every mortal in this world, but he does twice as many good things and that is highly valued. Many things, including the dioceses of Albarosa, as well as the very important reform of Ruskan Rite, which is massivly found, again, in the Kingdom of Haense, are some of the reforms that have elevated our Church, things that also improve it and make it bigger and better day by day, and all this thanks to Him, who leads His Holiness on the right path. IV. Conclusion Love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you, that you may be the sons of your Father who is in heaven, for he gives his sun to rise over the evil and the good, and that the rain falls on the righteous and the unrighteous. Let us forgive our debtors, and we will be forgiven. Let us remember why we survived, as a nation and as a religion - because we are together in this. Let us remember that His Holiness thinks only the best, that he is in the place of the Pontiff to make our lives better. Also, dear brothers and sisters, let us remember that no one is higher than God, and when He leads someone like His Holiness - we are on the right path.
