Bill to Implement Medical Courses in The Regiment 9th of Owyn’s Flame of 139 B.A The Regiment is who we rely on for our nation’s defense. While the Regiment does indeed efficiently respond to disasters that occur in our nation, they are also the only party to deal with the aftermath of such occurrences. This does not just present itself as a concern solely for the denizens outside of the regiment, but also for members within it. Just as we see many casualties to regular citizens, we also see just the same with the amount of soldiers who wind up in the clinic. While this can be written off as a matter solely tied to the clinicians of Balian, the truth is that the clinic can not always be present with missions that occur outside of our cities walls. What of Lumbridge? What of sieges on our allies that we are called to defend? What of darkspawn incursions and other defensive’s of the like held within the remote reaches of our lands? It is with these matters taken into consideration that courses covering basic first aid and other essential procedures, such as suturing, should be required for members of the regiment to undergo. MASQUERADE OF A NEW DAWN After much has occurred within our lands, peace returns to the motherland once more with the change in leadership. With an age of prosperity encroaching upon our silver shores, such times of auspice should be welcomed with revelries! As such, a ball shall be held in light of the recent elections! The theme of this affair is the Silver City itself- with blues and silvers to be worn by all in attendance, alongside their mask. With the exciting opening of the Senate I, Yelena Vasileia Virosi, announce my run for candidacy as a Representative of the Balianese populace. Just as I have lent my ear to the stories of their troubled pasts, to their tales of their difficult journey into finding a shelter they may belong to, will I once more REPRESENT their NEEDS and VOICES! if I were to land a seat amongst the Senate. I will be their medium to rely on, to speak of their worries, to speak of their grievances, to speak of their NECESSITIES. But preaching bears little value without formally knowing the demands and needs of the flock one speaks to. As such, I have formally acquainted myself with their demands in my interactions with the newly joined members of the Flock. Not only will I seek to lend a voice to the Balian denizens, but I will also take it upon myself to further reinvigorate the populace of Balian. Be it from creativity to culture especially. But what truly entails that of reinvigoration? I personally believe that such comes firstly with the presence of knowledge. I will collaborate with the Duana and encourage the intelligent minds of our land to introduce opportunities that can implore the populace of Balian, both new and local, to formally interact and learn more about their nation's culture and history. For being Balianese is to rejoice in the endeavors made by those before us. To celebrate the creations of those before us, and to UTILIZE what was left behind by our forebears, through the will of the LORD. ✧⥼─────────༻❁༺─────────⥽✧ However reinvigoration persists beyond that of knowledge, for reinvigoration includes all aspects of Balianese life, and most notably with the likeness of the Economy. I have come to notice that many stalls persist to be empty, and our populace thirsts to once more have a varied market that they may depend on. I promise to the denizens of Balian, that I will indeed fight to resuscitate the state of our local economy, to push for a market that not only attracts merchants from afar, but uplifts the local ones of our land. Such will likewise be aided with efforts of collaborating with the Duana, a push for a renovated marketplace, and the hosting of events that can offer a spotlight to the merchants of our land and of those abroad. And such naturally applies to the Agricultural sectors of our Kingdom, of which, is tethered as an essential pillar of our economy. I will take it upon myself to reinvigorate the pastoral lives of our rural denizens, and encourage interaction with our bountiful fields with the likes of our citizenry, be it through workshops and events that offer an insight to the intricacies of Balianese Agriculture, and to even push for a guild to offer a space for those interested in engaging with Balian’s bountiful fields. It is within these closing words, that I implore the Flock of Balian to VOTE, and MAKE YOUR voice truly HEARD within our nation, power is indiscriminate, and lies within all.
