  1. erm if ur that scared of generic goodguys who don't like fun and will irply go after ppl they oocly know are spooks then why would you ask to make it easier to go to the places stereotypically full of them
  2. longterm narrative is a gaslight. almost all of these magical longterm narratives are done in small groups between important individuals (or alternatively direct friends of the spook) that ur average joe usually isnt privy to, meaning that the only darkspawn exposure most normal players get is darkspawn cas trying to mimic the gash meta by spamraiding for no tangible reason I think that if vampires want to make life easier for themselves in areas where spook-testing is common and advocate for such by saying, 'we'll make interesting narratives', they should first make interesting narratives where spook-testing isn't common

    yeah they do that
  4. [!] A script, wrapped around the bars of the prisoner whilst he slept. It is unclear how it was delivered - the faint scent of incense, and, perhaps, spruce, clings to the parchment.
  5. "A good omen," Phillipe decided, "for what is to come."
  6. Phillipe van Leuven glanced away from the missive of Promotion, looking instead to the telling of the encounter with the Unholy Raven. His fingers tapped the spruce wood of the table, and he considered. All the more reason, I suppose. He resolved to speak to the Emissar about the matter.
  7. I don't think anyone save the small minority who know about deeplore really care about that sort of thing. People deal with what's in front of them.

  8. THE AULIC INFORMANT’S REPORT Issued by the THE OFFICE OF THE EMISSAR 547 E.S. FOLLOWING A REQUEST for an investigation into the activities of Mordring, the Aulic Informant has deemed it fit to give an update. ◆ Mordring currently resides in the Sunless Sanctum, a location within the Abyss. He is attempting to open the Nexus to grant himself new life - for this, he requires the body of a dragon. ◆ The Nexus is a font for draconic spirits. When dragons die, their souls return to the Nexus, and when they are born from it, their souls come from it. Satar and Elden, for example, both dragons, came from the Nexus. ◆ Mordring is being aided in this endeavour by a wraith known as ‘Pampo Perea’, an undead Aegisian King. ◆ The Abyss plays party to more than just Mordring; within it also exists Sol Invicta, the maddened daughter of Xan, and an Infernal Army, which is moving steadily towards Aevos. Its current proportions are unknown, but it has been reported to be comparable to that force which destroyed Arcas. ◆ Currently, there is only one known entryway into the Abyss from Aevos: a portal, residing in the Cathedral in Lumbridge, Lumbridge being firmly allied with Mordring. Lumbridge playes host to Xionists, Mystics, and undead; both Xionism and Lumbridge are lead by an undead wight known as Azazel/Melandrach. ◆ This is an ongoing investigation. Godani Jest Wielki, Phillipe van Leuven, Aulic Informant HER ROYAL HIGHNESS, Milena Anastasya, Lady Emissar of Hanseti-Ruska, Duchess-consort of Galahar, Kossaras of the Walton Order of the Unyielding
  9. Phillipe van Leuven scrawled a letter to someone.
  10. Phillipe van Leuven put his head in his hands. The noose was tightening.
  11. "Hrm," says Phillipe van Leuven, and scratches his chin.
  12. Phillipe van Leuven fairly laments as modern zealots see fit to act like common bandits.
