  1. RP Name: Bori Strongbrow MC Name: Omithiel Which Linage?: Ulgrin Age: 350 What do you hope to experience while with this clan?: Dwarf Roleplay at its finest, and also wish to be a religious head in the clan spreading the good word of Yemekar. Are you new to Roleplay? Are you new to Dwarven Roleplay? (This is fine, If you answer yes we will assist you through the way!): Give a short biography of your character(Feel free to be creative within the two lines available): Bori Strongbrow is a good working dwarf all his life, but his passion was to teach the ways of the Brathmordakin. Hopefully he can achieve this as he makes a return to this new land. Image of your skin(Don't forget the Brow!): I'll post it shortly when i update it.

  3. *Duri Grandaxe of the militia group "The TimberAxes", his head is decapitated by giant honey badgers before reaching the post. He died at 300 years of age in the plains of the AmberColds.*
  4. Don't know what happened but I'm a wandering soul for some reason.
  5. I think debuffs should be removed like I said earlier and Navin had said. It wouldn't make sense for someone who learned how to do something over time to still have a debuff for that skill. So in my opinion debuffs for skills should be removed and just keep general buffs that are accepted by all to be allowed. Also is quoting messed up in the forums? Tried doing it for what someone said here but wasn't working.
  6. How about give buffs that generally accepted by people, and remove the debuffs that certain races have. It would make sense that if someone learns to be a blacksmith he would know how to do it, and that a debuff to this wouldn't make sense at this point. For example so if a southeren learns to master being a smith I disagree that they should be debuffed for being that race. So I believe we should keep buffs that are generally accepted for that race and just not have any debuffs for any race at all.
  7. Then the ET can have a go at it. What I hope for is that if you are in one these beings zones a random spontaneous event (no lore needed) can occur or not if you're lucky, and whether you want to engage or retreat with these beings is entirely up to you. It doesn't even have to be one being neither, it can be multiple ones like I said. For example for the event to happen you would hear a local broadcast say something like this "The aroma fire and meat" or "You hear footsteps and grunts coming in your direction." You stumbled upon a group of 9 ft cyclops (with mpm) camp/path and they haven't spotted you yet, they wield giant clubs (sword with knockback II due to their strength.) At this point you can either hide or or engage them (if not alone.) and if you do engage or if they spot you good luck lol, If not well next time you would be terrified or more cautious about traveling in this area of the map.
  8. Is the giant in MC still around? If so I heard that thing is kinda buggy. Also is the server still using MPM?
  9. On the original title of my post what I meant was that these things are neutral in RP and can be swayed to become antagonizing to those that confront or engage them, or if this group or single character is around their path/zone in the map. Also as a protagonist if by some extremely rare luck you're able to get them on your side then I suppose you can use them, but most of the time if you engage these beings or beasts they would leave you alone unless you get in their face. Off Topic Either way I understand what you guys are saying that an antagonist can be protagonist for a certain group, and a protagonist can be an antagonist for a certain group. Ex : Undead and those that worshipped Iblees, and the Ascended with most of the races, except Dwarves. (#AlrasAegis)
  10. I did make an application for event team builder so that I and others can make some of these cool areas when we had the time :P. I already told some people within 4.0 dev about this idea , but I felt that I should bring the idea out to the community.
  11. I wish they were neutral, and if they are evil they would have their own agenda. The dwarf antagonist was somewhat like this but it had much lore behind it, and the events played over time with a climatic ending. I'm hoping for something that doesn't require much lore if anything no lore at all, they are just in our world and they exist. If we still need lore for these things I would love to keep it as mysterious and leave the players to make their own conclusions to why these beings are in our world.
  12. Yeah would be interesting but I believe they already have one, but that doesn't mean that what you're saying couldn't be a side thing. On Topic Thanks for agreeing, hopefully with this idea we can add more mystery to our world, add more diversity, sure we have an occasional random event with a dragon or beast, but it's either tied with the main story or just a random occurrence. I would like to see that these things have a lair or place of some sort that would add to the mystery. For example if the wilderness is quite large we can possibly add dragon lairs, or possibly a land for giants. Basically with this idea I hope to give us a view that our world is huge, and that the story of the our world can be expansive and left to make your own conclusions.
  13. Alright I suppose I chose the wrong words to represent my idea, I'll change it if I can. edited.
  14. True, but most of the time these events happen at a random occurrence without them actually living within the map.
  15. I don't know if this is in plan for 4.0 or not but I hope it could be considered. So what I consider neutral beasts/beings is basically an idea that what we already know as fantasy/mythological beasts such as dragons, cyclops/giants, elementals, mudmen, giant spiders, forbidden beasts, colossal mechs, etc, can exist in our world simply to be there. We can even have somewhat intelligent groups exist with a hive mentality, or even like the flood from halo but not so over powered. (Like a fungal disease.) What I'm suggesting is that these neutral beasts/beings are in our world but have no part in the story or lore of the events that will play out for the Antagonist or Protagonist. Of course with some extreme luck you are able to persuade or tame these beings to your side whether good or evil go right ahead. But these beings simply live in our world and if we want to engage in these beings we can or not even engage them ever at all. if this is possible we can have so much diversity and side things to do that would add much fun RPly and many roles for the ET to do. Also gives an opportunity for actually player heroes to exist in our server, I mean who doesn't want to be a dragonslayer with a cool title and weapon to go with that. Though it would be extremely difficult to defeat any of these beings alone, but it's worth a shot. Finally I would like to add that these beings can also engage Rper's if for their natural reasons such as food, or change of location (migration) or other reasons. In conclusion I would love to see this in 4.0, since it would add mystery and much reason for exploration. I would love to hear your opinion on it, and also if you want to post images of cool crazy things that would be cool to see exist in our world go ahead and post it. edited.
  16. Looks like the 3.5 antagonist needs a new base.
  17. I think certain type of guns is possible in a fantasy setting, the links below are from a fantasy 2D turn based strategy game I used to play back in the day. The chances of you getting a hit with the weapon is very low in this game. (They are basically the same unit but different ranks, each having their own lore. You can also see other type of units from different races if you want.) http://units.wesnoth.org/1.10/mainline/en_US/Dwarvish%20Thunderer.html http://units.wesnoth.org/1.10/mainline/en_US/Dwarvish%20Thunderguard.html http://units.wesnoth.org/1.10/mainline/en_US/Dwarvish%20Dragonguard.html
