  1. An interesting thought just struck me. What kind of villain do you most enjoy? On a related note; what kind of villain do you least enjoy or even avoid?

      Enjoy: Villains who lose.

Dislike: Villains who want to win.

      ~≈Panda≈~

Panda likes her villains with real soul and motivation. Panda doesn't like.. most of the villains on this server.

Those qho obviously put creative thought and planning into there character, with real deep meanings behind them. And like Benbo said, puts there roleplay before players. Panda likes to tell herself at night that she is good enough to be one of those players.

  4. A thin smile forms upon Bircalin's lips as he notes the Wood Elf's coy behaviour. The skin at the corners of his mouth would show slight ripples as it stretches, scarred from fire yet never quite fully-healed. He responds in his naturally gentle tone. "As of late, I have seen and heard little of whatever council remains, meaning it would be wholly unwise for me to comment on their status. However that alone should be enough for an answer. As for wrongdoings, besides being ignored once or twice, a miniscule amount, I was never personally subject to their 'heinous' ways. Though the common consensus is that they tended to act irrationally and bend rules and regulations to their will. Though to me, simple hearsay. Although some particular cases do have sufficient evidence." Once more nodding in affirmation, Bircalin's mildly optimistic face returns to scanning the area, watching names being placed as others around the note-pinners arrive swiftly and disappear just as fast.
  5. Noticing said nearby Wood Elf's mild distress, Bircalin takes a small few steps out from beneah the shade of the smaller trees littering the area. His soulless eyes locking visciously as they always do before his voice calls out calmly. "The previous High Council left our lands rather abruptly due to rising tentions and supposed failures on their behalf. The people of Malinor, though not all of them, are attempting to make swift amends and elect a new High Princess or Prince alongside a new council. Although, others favour the concept of a single council with no High Princess or Prince." Nodding somewhat to finalise his statement, he quickly adds. "Might there be something else you desire?"
  6. (( I'm really sorry to be posting solely with OOC.However I feel I should add that forcing a crowd to attack Sentinels is pretty questionable. Perhaps something more along the lines of... '[Name] watches carefully, mindfully praying that the crowd before him sees the logic behind his reasoning. I sincerely hope this meeting was not taken to heart Hope I helped, nice writing too.
  7. Having meticulously watched nigh-on every note being placed upon the courtyard's surroundings, Bircalin takes attention as he spots Elindor placing his own note clearly seperated from the rest. Holding a mild understanding of Elindor's wisdom and typically articulate responses, Bircalin shows a greater deal of interest in the occurrence. Having finished reading the paper placed upon the well, he nods approvingly to himself before deciding to not yet add his own name for the understanding of other possible candidates to prove themselves. His misty eyes cast their gaze frequently to the note, awaiting the responses of others dutifully.
  8. Bircalin's cloudy white eyes shift to Vanir with a sense of unease before he nods somewhat. "You are most certainly correct. You'll have to forgive me, I simply tire of our kind being branded as fools and imbeciles for our ways. I have a burning passion to keep all Mali safe and well cared-for. It is not something I will ever deny. As for the claim of my heritage, yes, yes I was once a Halfling. It is not my place to bring such a story here, this is by far from an approriate setting. But let it be known I am how I am now..." Bircalin brings his fingertips to gently brush against the edges of his lips, the skin forming an unnatural texture as it tightens. He repeats the action to the corners of his eyes before lowering his hand. "...I am how I am now, due to my faith in Malin, our people and my willingness to do -whatever- it takes to protect our kin." His expression darkens only somewhat as his voice deepens to an almost malevolent tone, his expression quizzical and filled with accusation. The misty eyes looking to where Rhazev stood(stands) before continuing. "When a 'Halfling' lead his Elves unto the Undead fortress, ask yourself where you were..." To prevent breaking his mental tether, Bircalin breaks eye contact with those around him before taking a handful of steps away to allow the Mali to talk amongst themselves. Though his interest is still peaked, the simple reminder of Drauchriem and the sadistic touch of molten lava upon flesh brings him into a sense of solitude.
  9. "Follow? I'm practically opposing him. As for my form, I'm rather taken aback that you wouldn't even begin to deny such a claim of being Valah, I have nothing to deny. 'This one' has not set a plan to invade Malinor with foreign armies if it's people refuse to submit. 'This one' promises ties that will last rather than prove worthless after blood has been shed. I'm truly disappointed. That you could not simply allow this to go on without delivering a cynical opinion and a jab at all Elven kind. It honestly saddens me."
  10. "Yet here you stand, acting as though you are entitled to a position of power? Wise people, the Elves. Capable of seeing through empty promises gifted by a Valah with the form of a Mali. Criticise your own kind all you will, you will never be a true leader with this behaviour."
  11. Nodding in approval of Vanir's words, Bircalin's tone bears with it a solemn smile of appreciation. "It pains me to reiterate that I simply am uncomfortable with the possibility of Mali'ker facing unequal treatment to other Mali. I say this of course in the -most- respectful way to Azel, I respect him nonetheless. However, should his name be cast upon others in an election for High Prince or Princess, I would be more than able to comply should his vote take the majority."
  12. "Azel, I have great faith that your kin speak nothing but the utmost truth when they make claims of your leadership prowess. However, it is my concern that you wish to claim the position of High Prince and I feel obliged to respectfully object to such a thing. Although my trust is placed in you, I feel that with such a position of responsibility and influence, the dark kin of Darkhaven may be favoured over matters due to their Patron's heritage. I am in the agreement that the people of Malinor should elect their High Princess or Prince, and with them a singular council made of the Princes and Princesses below them, as was the scheme of Laurelin in Aegis. Shown curiosity, I will gladly oblige to elaborating on said point."
  13. Braxy, I don't think there -is- a Malinor to declare war on ^-^

  15. Deciding to speak-up once more, Bircalin's words deliver a sense of assurance and promise. "I will gladly take it upon myself to reform the military and or guard force. In the short time the High Council allowed my Noladrim to do their duty as guardians, they were commended for their efforts and swiftly regarded as a more effective force than previous forces of Malinor. I have been with Malinor since the beginning of my days and the reign of High Prince Native, and let me tell you, that was the golden age of Malinor. The errors of High Princess Indelwehn, my wife, were obvious to all. However, I saw firsthand the effort she displayed and the heart she poured into her position. It is no easy feat, leading our people. Whoever the people decides should, -if- the people decide, they should be sure their potential High Princess or Prince is well aware of what they are stepping into. This is one of Malinor's darkest times and the errors of our ways is what brought us here. Remember those faults, but do not look back on our history. This is our oppurtunity to advance into an age of prosperity and good health for the nation, the race and all others living under Malinor. Embrace Azel's guidance, I advise you all. He is a commendable Mali, smart in his ways. We -need- this."

  17. "The life of a Leader, Father and Ranger..." - The life indeed...

  18. ((From what I usually see, the gate is open 90% of the time to be fair. I'm fine with it anywho.)) Bircalin's lips betray a smile, allowing the smallest of smirks to form under them as he listens, maintaining his composure. His head bows in an almost identical manner to Azel's likewise greeting before he speaks with a mildly stronger sense of comfort than previously. "Those of us that still count ourselves as Mali would be foolish to reject your offer. I for one see no shame in accepting the hand in which you offer. It is no secret we are in a situation filled with strife. However, for yourself and the remaining people of the Dominion of Darkhaven to offer aid when you may well have simply ignored us, is a commendable act that earns my respect. Albeit only a morsel of the populace, you have my personal blessing to do as you will. I will seek only to aid you so long as your efforts pertain to the prosperity of Malinor and not it's destruction." Once more, Bircalin bows his head at an angle before taking a fraction of a step aside. More a gesture of faith and safe passage than giving room. ((Sorry if there are any blinding mistakes, no computer-access means texting!))
  19. Walking in an arc around the courtyard's well, Bircalin adorns the behaviour reminiscent of a savage predator, though his stature and expression appears stern and calm. His ghostly eyes meet Azel's frame, bearing no trace of emotion as they haven't for over a century. His hands sway in their idle state at his side, his boots giving a brief thud and scattering of gravel as he paces until coming to an acceptable distance from Azel. "My brother, tell me our own brave kin would not enact violence upon our home... Tell me this isn't how it seems, 'lest I be forced to protect these trees for what little good it may do. Speak, and let us know your intentions, please."
  20. Easy Elf looking for hunky Human husband, contact if interested.

  21. I'm honestly tired of so many people thrusting all of their criticisms onto the Elves. "You argue too much." "Your army sucks." It isn't -our- army or -our- argument. People seem to forget that an Elf is NOT a Human by any regards. If they suddenly all grew scaled skin or 10ft tails people would probably realise that. Sorry for ranting, but a point has to be made. This is just the sum of recent events, not aimed at anything or anyone from recent events.
