The elder clans are clans that where once great, garnering many members or noterity, basically old noble clans that have lost a considerable deal of members. They are still held in respect, just without the offical political perks.

I haven't forgot about that doc ;p. This thread is more on general information about dwarves, not just the govermental structure and everything that happens with in the empire. Not saying that we can't use both docs for the same purpose ;p

LotC has always had Pvp ever since it has began. There is no sense of trying to get rid of it completely, because it will never happen. Just 'cause we call it a RP server doesn't mean it doesn't have other aspects to it. And if you say that it doesn't make RP sense, that it is just about who is a better minecraft pvper or not, think of it this way. If you pvp as a character a good deal on the server, you should be getting better at the actual minecraft mechanics. If you don't pvp that much on the server, and you create a character that's a master swordsmen, then obviously your gonna suck at pvp. Sorry for the rant, but I've seen soooooo many of these anti-pvp things and they are just so annoying.

[Adding a poll for the sake of organisation. Please, only people participating in this war claim vote on the poll. Option #1: So, with some suggestions through out the thread, I thought we should make this battle a bit more interesting. Since the fort that the dwarves seek to destroy is on a large area of land, Brevias suggested that we can just simply region off the land and have an open field battle as well as a battle for the fort. This allows for the orcs to have their fort in the north not be thrown into question as well as the dwarves completing their ultimate goal. Keep in mind that these two battles will most likely happen the same day. Option #2: Another possibility would be to not region the land off as a whole and continue the war claim as is, although with one minor adjustment. It would be a span of three battles over a two day period. We would have the battle for the first fort built closest to us first. If victory is claimed for the dwarves, then we could continue to the next day having a open field battle, then finally having a battle for the fort in the northern mountains. The choice is up to you guys.]

Maps are sent to the three dwarven lords of Kal'Anart, Kal'Dwain and Kal'Alras. Each of the lords receive these and lay them out for public use. [The "Charles' clan village" is not there RPly. That was there merely as a reference before, but I'm currently to lazy to make up another map in paint XD. I believe that is the extent of the Alras lands, but I could be wrong. A better map will be made when the dwarven mega thread is complete.]

[Aegis? We are in Asulon... Also, you will not be recognized as a clan by the dwarves unless a noble clan recognizes you as such. This goes for any new clans. Currently the Grandaxes have recognized the Edgehands, Grimaxes and Forkbeards. I'm not sure about the other noble clans.]
