This can ruin RP fights and conversations quite easily In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character: THIS IS A SECOND ACCOUNT APPLICATION Full Name: Gorki Trout Current Age: 185 Race: Dwarf Sub-race (if any): Cave Dwarf Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Gorki grew up in Darklight hold, tending his families small flock of Mooshrooms. His father, Jerno Trout had sent him to live there, fostered among the Ironguts while he attempted to set up his Trading Company in the Human lands. Due to this 'abandonment', Gorki grew resentful not of his father, but of the humans. Whenever Jerno visited Darklight, he would tell Gorki that as soon as his business took off, he would send for him from Darklight Hold. The day never came, and Gorki never forgave the rabbits and long ears for destroying his father's ambitions. THIS IS A SECOND ACCOUNT APPLICATION When Gorki came of age(turned 50, he made his way to Kal'Azgoth, the crown of the Dwarven lands in Asulon. His father secured him a job as a shopkeeper for a general store in the city. Years later, when Gorki had just turned 180, his father took him to the tavern for a drink, as he had every year for Gorki's birthday. When in the tavern, after having a few, a drunk human who was sitting at the bar began throwing insults at Jerno, Gorki's father. The man was criticizing Jerno's business, and made several mentions to his short stature, specifically calling him stubby. This is, of course, a severe crime within the empire, and Gorki took it upon himself to defend his father's honor. His father, during all this, was deep in conversation with a fellow business-man, and did not even notice his son approaching the Human. Gorki stabbed the human 3 times in the stomach, holding a pickaxe very close to the head and using underhand blows. The Human was helpless to stop, even in his drunken state. Gorki was thrown in prison for 5 years because of this, and when he came out he knew that change needed to come to the Dwarven Empire. Towards Dwarves, he can be incredibly kind, giving no hint of the abject hatred which lies beneath. He is charitable, as well as not minding a drink in the pub. Gorki is also an animal in combat. Gorki is a cheerful drunk, able to make and take jokes about himself and others. Skills: Natural skill with smithing, although Gorki has yet to discover this. Gorki is also a skilled haggler, once bringing down the price of iron for his store by 1/2, then pocketing the profits. Yo man, stay with it! This server is great, don't give up on us. Check back in a week or so and see how things are going, and more importantly join TeamSpeak! The community is what makes this server great, and that sense of knowing that people respect your opinion after weeks of playing and chatting with them is something few servers have. Get involved basically, join a guild or something, or be a tavernkeep where you dont have to move too much. Making a goblin character will open up working for Toveah Goldman. He usually hires Goblins for work moving items, or him.

Now, the People must rise to take back what is their's by right! The Trading Federation is a collection of merchants and warriors dedicated to cleansing the roads of all outside influences. They do not have a formal base, but instead a collection of chapters in different cities throughout the land. The Federation's main goal is to defend the rights of the common peasant, and this starts with making sure he can travel from place to place with impunity, without having to pay unnecessary tolls, or being stopped by hostile forces. From now on, Kingdom's be warned, you cannot toll those crossing borders, you cannot make arrests outside your lands, and you certainly cannot force your way into other kingdom's business. The Trading Federation asserts itself as the Supreme Authority over all matters concerning the lowly peoples. Financing The Trading Federation is a completely non-profit organization. As such, it can only be sustained by donations from merchants and kingdoms. Also, helping others without any thought of reward, merely because you can. 4)Race: Dwarf, no subrace 5)Flaws in Your Character: Hasty in making decisons, also 6) How long have you been on the server: About a month, I played back in Aegis, but I have played for a month, since early february in this map Scenario Questions-Answer how you would react to each situation. 7) You notice an Apprentice Shade harassing a lowly citizen. [shades Are Evil Mages] I would not attempt to reason with the shade, as I do not know what it is capable of, and I don't under any circumstances want to risk angering it. I would act as though... the shade owned the lowly citizen, and I was a merchant lookin' for a slave. I would ask the shade 'ow much he was sellin' the man fer, and if it was a reasonable price, "purchase" the man. If it was not, I would haggle down to what I could afford. Once I had "purchased" the man and the shade had left, I would take him somewhere safe, and leave 'im there to go on his way. 8) You see a small child shivering in the snow. The first thing ta' do is to make sure that the young lad doesn' get black toe. So, I would pick 'im up, and run him to the nearest inn, and get 'im some soup. When he seemed fit te' travel again, I would take 'im to his house and let his parents take care of him. 9) You are walking down the road when a bandit stops you and threatens to kill you if you don't give him all your money and valuables. Ferst, I would laugh at the bandit. I would ask him why he was stoppin' me, seein' as I wouldn't be carryin' much if I was out on the roads, precisely for this reason. I would give him me axe, some food, and some saplings; and tell 'im to go out, plant some trees and chop some trees, and make a real, honest livin' fer yourself. 10) As you walk through the local market place a person begins to yell that Aeriel and the other patrons are weak and cruel and claims that joining Iblees is the only way to survive. ((I dont know who the Iblees are, so IC I wouldn't know how to respond to this..)) 11) A person walks up and asks you, "Why does God allow suffering to continue?" ((Should be "do the gods" gods, polytheistic society :/)) I would look at the man and ask him why do we choose war over negotiations? And why do we choose to rob people instead of farmin'? Once we are able to answer these questions and correct our wrongs, then the gods will stop the sufferin' they 'put' on us.

I can provide, aside from my axe, the outlook of one not of the elves. Because I am a Dwarf, and my race's philosophy differs from that of the elves, I will be able to provide different opinions on matters of alliances, war, and trade. I am also a skilled axeman, and proficient with a bow. I can collect wood to be used, as well as do a bit of farmin', although farming isn't exactly my strong suit and lumberin' comes natural to us Dwarves. Question 2: Armoured persons approach our gates, they are open. You don’t know why they are here. What do you do? Close the gate immediately. If armored persons are approachin' the gate the citizens must be secured. After this, I would be wantin' to know how many are in their party, if I suspect they are lyin', I call for a senior officer to take over, as I don' want to be lettin' liars and trouble makers into the city. If I didn' suspect them of lyin', I would ask them to remove their helms and stow away their weapons, then ask them their business and names. If nothin' seemed suspicious by then, I would let 'em in. Question 3: Where do you wish to progress in the Guard? Hopefully to a Sentinel, as is every recruit's dream. definitely in axes, as that is my strong suit. I hope that the Sentinels can come to see my value, and what I 'ave to offer to the Elves. -

You have no armor and no weaponry except for an iron sword. The halfling is also very lacking in weaponry, only having a golden dagger. What do you do?: I would attack them outright with the halfling. Since you did not specify their armor, or skill levels, I assume they have wood swords and leather armor. I assume since I have an iron sword that i am proficient with it, so I attack them with the halfling. His skill is obviously proficient, since he has a golden dagger. We would defeat them quite easily, unless the halflight really stinks at fighting.

Thaim always feels more comfortable in a long dark tunnel, than in the open breeze. Thaim apprenticed as a blacksmith in his earlier days, quickly discovering he did not like being a blacksmith, and instead had a lust for war. He has been trying to join the Dwarven army ever since. However, recently this hasn't been coming to fruition, due to his stubby arms. He has been working hard for several months to correct this issue, and is so far succeeding. Though he cannot yet fight with an iron sword, he has been practicing daily. He hopes to be able to join the army in the coming weeks. -Character Age: At the age of 22, Thaim is still extremely young. However, he is willing to dedicate himself to being a soldier. -Character Appearance: Thaim has powerful walking legs, but his arms are rather stubbier than most soldiers, he has been practicing with swords for almost a month in order to correct this, and it's working. He has Light brown hair, with an extremely light complexion due to his time underground. -Character Personality: Rather gruff, and quick to anger. Thaim can be the exact opposite when war strikes, instead being patient and understanding. -Your ambitions: Possibly join the King's Guard, which is every aspiring soldiers dream. To watch the king's back against assassins, and the highest honor, sacrifice yourself for the king. -Can your character read or write?: Thaim can read, but he does not know how to write. The ruins are a bit too complicated for him to conjure up out of thin air, however, looking at them, he can easily understand them. -Can your character mine?: Yes, but he is not very good at identifying ores. He is however, very good at fighting in the darkness, and claustrophobia of the mines. -Are you a capable builder? Thaim can build a simple dwelling, but anything beyond that is beyond the limits of his imagination. He usually throws together a cloth tent, or if he has time enough to get wood, a small cabin-like structure at the base of a tree. -Can you wield a sword?: Yes, Thaim can wield a sword, however iron swords are yet too heavy for him, although he practices every day. Diamond swords are far too heavy. So he uses a stone sword instead. -Enjoy Farming?: Thaim respects those with the patience to farm, however cannot farm well himself. He does however, have a knack for mushroom farming, as it requires being in the near darkness. -Does your character have any special skills?:] Thaim has a knack for spotting clay deposits. He also has a strong back, as he has been strengthening his muscles by carrying rocks. This way, he is able to wear an iron jerkin. Royal_McKeogh In-Character: Thaim Arduum -Character Name: Thaim Arduum? -What is your Race?: Dwarves -Lordofthecraft.net/forum forum account: -Biography: Born deep in the mines, Thaim has stayed their for much of his life, being nervous in open space. Thaim always feels more comfortable in a long dark tunnel, than in the open breeze. Thaim apprenticed as a blacksmith in his earlier days, quickly discovering he did not like being a blacksmith, and instead had a lust for war. He has been trying to join the Dwarven army ever since. -Character Age: 22, extremely young -Character Appearance: Thaim has powerful walking legs, but his arms are rather stubbier than most soldiers, he has been practicing with swords for almost a month in order to correct this, and it's working. He has Light brown hair, with an extremely light complexion due to his time underground. -Character Personality: Rather gruff, and quick to anger. Thaim can be the exact opposite when war strikes, instead being patient and understanding. -Your ambitions: Possibly join the King's Guard, I'm still not sure :S -Can your character read or write?: Thaim can read, but he does not know how to write. -Can your character mine?: Yes, but he is not very good at identifying ores. -Are you a capable builder? Thaim can build a simple dwelling, but anything beyond that is beyond the limits of his imagination. -Can you wield a sword?: Yes, Thaim can wield a sword, however iron swords are yet too heavy for him, although he practices every day.
