Fix that abomination of misplaced bbcode now! You forgot the end code. Anyway, yea glad to hear it. The overhanging ones that curl under themselves looked very unique so I would not want to play with those too much. I think the texture pack you are using there is quite alright tbh. If you can, simply switch around the slabs and you will be good. If you do find a better elven suited texture pack please let me know though. Doku | High is the only one that comes to mind for me.

I really like these. I'd happily live in a home like this, it also looks very adaptable in which I mean you could easily create a variety of similar builds in this style. Only negatives I can pick out is that a "few" things do not sit right with me. The two curls on the left and right of the roof in the top image look slighting "off" and the stone slabs stick out a little too much. I think the stone slabs are just a texture clash. I'll post update on my tree home soon. Only bad thing with mine right now is that it just looks like a tree.. it definitely needs some furbishing or structural elements which I plan to add soon.
