  1. You can always make a new character or attempt to "bend the knee" as many rebels before Godfrey have done in the past. I'm not saying it will work, but it's an option depending on the severity of your crimes. As for the rebellion as a whole, I share the same stance as Aetosion. OOCly I think there is little to no justification for a Tarus rebellion of Oren, but I'll gladly fight it to prove a point. Let's look at the IC speech in the Tarus Rebellion warclaim. There is no one IN Oren who you are answering the call to. No one in Oren actually supports you attempting to swoop in and "try to fix things." House Carrion reunited Oren non-violently, a feat which I still am surprised to do (when planning out the unification process I expected at least a few warclaims) I could understand that the former relationship with House Blackmont/House Flay could unsettle people, but RPly both those Houses are long gone. Pure fluff. It is ironic on some level because I am on good terms with every human nation leader who's kingdom was annexed. "The people" and "the others" don't want your freedom and peace in Oren. It's more of an invasion then an actual rebellion. OOCly, a successful rebellion would lead to the exact opposite of humanity's progress; the nobility would fracture, various factions would splinter the kingdoms, and people like Senda and Hobo wouldn't have a stable enough platform to plan and execute civilian planning. To many, including myself, it seems like a half-hearted ill-thought attempt at grabbing some power as your only excuse that it being anything else: 'it will have an elective monarchy and a high king because Emperors are evil!" is half-hearted at best because that is not the flaw in Oren's structure at the moment. \There is no difference between a High King and Emperor in governing humanity aside from name and the real problem is a lack of stability and leadership due to banned players / players unable to get on to administer IG reforms and help newbs out in making Abresi and Oren a more fluid medieval RP atmosphere. This issue can OOCly only be fixed with time, not chaotic rebellions which only accentuate the issue. Not that it really matters, as I said, I urge you to push the rebellion because it would make no sense ICly to drop all your weapons, and OOCly I think it would be something fun to crush to let other potential rebellions think twice. Also, I do not think it is fair for you to assume that House Carrion's achievements in reunifying five distinct human kingdoms from dwarf rule, dispelling 10+ noble houses, and finding the right people in power to administer and reform the country such as Hobo + Senda should be something "that anyone could do." I have yet to see anything similar to be done on any of your characters, so shrugging off all the time House Carrion has spent plotting and planning out the reunification process is ignorant and doesn't reflect well on your understanding of how much effort a nation leader has to put in to make a nation work.
  2. What race do you want to play? Contact a respective nation leader of whichever race you wish to play. I've listen them below. Human - Me Orcs - Gronkk (http://www.lordofthecraft.net/user/28772-gronkk/) or Grool (http://www.lordofthecraft.net/user/27113-vonaulus/) Dwarves - Spuller (http://www.lordofthecraft.net/user/45480-xspullerx/) Elves - TwilightWolf (http://www.lordofthecraft.net/user/29968-twilightwolf/) Send a PM to a nation leader and I am sure they will help find an RP group for you to integrate with based on your interests.

  5. Imperial Proclamation of Abdication Diet of Abretski Section I: i. The King of Oren, Ostromir II Sarkozic Carrion-Horen hereby abdicates all titles to the closest possible heir, the Crown-Prince Godferik Sarkozic Carrion-Horen ii. All titles held by Ostromir II Sarkozic Carrion are hereby passed to the Crown-Prince Godferik Sarkozic Carrion. iii. The Crown-Prince is hereby styled; His Royal Majesty, Godferik I Sarkozic Carrion, King of Oren, Patriarch of House Horen, Lord of the Crownlands, Duke of Renatus, Count of Corazon, Furnestock, Knaz, Baron of Killburn, Riven, and Eastmarch, and Baronet of St. Maric OOC: pmfvas1996 is new king of Oren, over VonAulus who's character has retired to a monastery to study the ways of messy medieval. I am still Emperor of the Oren Imperium, but no longer is Vekaro our Bogdanistan.
  6. Siegmund glances over the Confederacy as he dines on his supper of steamed babalouche. "Houses are supposed to do all of these things anyway, so it is not problem."
  7. Jacobin de Rosaen twirls his moustache as he watches People Tarus prepare the men. "With this I can usurp my brother as future king of fèstivalè....and be le_Emperor before noon!" (We will talk on skype between you, me, Emenzi and other leaders of the respective factions. I'll post an official post dictating the Warclaim is accepted once all terms and timing is agreed on)
  8. who here has the highest post-rep ratio

  9. Siegmund has his make-shift herald Lorik announce the claim to the public. He notes to Gundir before Gundir leaves. "If you ever wish to rebirth House Silverblade, let me know. I am content with you being its leader, as you have good head to see that good of humanity comes over petty ambitions and self-desires. It is shame your remaining bloodkin do not."
  10. Siegmund pats Gundir on the back. "I believe your uncle or some bloodkin of yours, Huron, had made false bloodclaim to your rightful Furnestock. It is some nonsense rebellion of power-thirst. But if you believe our cause is right and you wish to deliver your rightful claim as son of Gideon Silverblade to the crown, I am willing to accept." He produces a document for Gundir to sign with the stamp of House Carrion at the bottom which states that he, as rightful lord of House Silverblade from birth and rightful claimant to Furnestock, surrenders his titles and claim to House Carrion and the Imperial Throne.
  11. Siegmund glances to the heads he has of various rebels. Then he sees his own head. Then he sees various heads of random peoples who still walk anthos to this day. He realizes its pretty illogicalto rp decapitating someone when they aren"t pk"d, and all the heads go poof and vanish. "I must find my good friend Scav Ruthern to teach me how to fight with nexus" ( it was just a pvp raid lol I'm pretty sure Kyle died in it too, no one is pkd, just kinda like an ego thing for these rebels)
  12. Siegmund watches as the former king Dizzy Irongrinder is thrown out of the Krelm in a coup'de'tat. As Farren enters and proposes the revised treaty, His Imperial Divinity accepts, stamping it with the seal of the Oren Imperium. OOC: FMs, please move this to Laws and Legislation under Kingdom of Oren RP. Thanks!
  13. Siegmund heads back to Kralta from his duties in Abresi to witness the baptism of a prominent Ruskan strelt family. He takes part in the merriment in the old Raevir countryside, age melting from his face as he remembers fun times with Bogdanistan, Hunwald, Orlik, Hogvir, Datrus, Mikhael, Oriel, Lorik, Lark, Wilson, Pjtor, Stanimir, Borikdan, Joferik, Damen, Tance, Sabri, Arryn, Lissa, Zherifina, Catherine, the newly dubbed Krawfyods, and other strelesy. As the celebrations dies down, Siegmund sighs and with a heavy heart returns to the snoot and soot of Abresian politics.
  14. Siegmund unfolds the letter, reading it to the dwarven lords still present at the meeting. He hopes that the other lords have a change of heart too, and sends a letter of courtesy in reply to Dreek.
  15. Siegmund shrugs. "Flays have dissolved; I have not seen red bandana in Abresi in elven days since their dissolution. It seems peace as rid of them of their madness once and for good, as bringing them to sword as only agitated them into consistent furies. Any guard worth his salt should know that his duty first most is to protect peoples, and he should use non-violent and violent ways to enforce this. We dealt with Flay problem using non-violent way. " "Considering Sophia's rebellion is backed largely by exiled nobles and groups from William's reign, I see no change aside from her reckless disregard for law and order. Consorting with her rebellion is fool's cause which will only lead to further damage to Oren infrastructure and Oren stability. I have never spoken to whoever you serve, and I feel that it is better to collaborate than to aimlessly rebel against authority. Despite my powers as Imperial Divinity, I am man of logic prior-most, and I will heed all words from all peoples to refute and discuss. Many rebels hold attitude of making them threats against humanity as race, not just my dynasty or Oren Imperium. If your cause is for humanity, fighting against me and my dominion is sheer logical fallacy and foolery. I make condemnations to those who do for this reason alone." He turns to Art. "Considering it was her kinfolk who ordered annexation and destruction of elven lands and culture, I do not see why she is particularly pardoned. Nonetheless, no diplomatic envoy has been sent to me, Imperial Divinity, in regards to these tensions against Oren regarding elves. I may find that High Princess has anti-human stance, but that does not mean I come into her country and depose of her to prove point. First step is always communication to avoid bloodshed and rampant violence. Too much has occurred as of late, and Oren will only bleed and humanity continue to be subjugated to dark age if it continues." OOC: @Jistuma Sure, I wrote it in a bit of a hurry but it can do for now. I'll edit in the post a part about Salvus, so it covers all 5 kingdoms in unification.
  16. Siegmund begins to point out flaws in the worker's logic. "You claim that guard was too proud for peace to spare lives of women and children with Flay raids, yet in next sentence say that it was folly for guard to work out temporary peace. Make up your mind. Nonetheless, all attempts at Flay revival have been quelled, as by no circumstance will they be granted nobility especially without bloodline. They have accepted this and put their violent antics to more constructive use. It makes little sense to assume civil war in attempt restoration of name and glory to Oren; rather, it seems like quick way for many of these nobles to get quick titles again so they may once again sit on land and build five castles to their name. And usurper does not offer new system from scratch, she wishes to bend rules to take crown before continuing with absolute monarchy split by bickering vassal lords. I can understand morale loss of guard with Tuv's departure, as abandoning your post to frolick in Kaedrini wasteland is dangerous affair. However, Tuv has returned and this time he and I plan to leave strong system in place to avoid his disappearance leading to absurd crime rates once more. Ostromir had made some folly in his rule, but that does not condemn all of Carrion Vochna to succumb to foreign rule by having usurper backed by foreigners placed on throne, and to abandon Oren and humanity to such power-craving nobles who were exiled for reason. I would rather die than to see weak Oren ruled by men who put more thought into where their new castle should spring up instead of how to progress it as nation-state."
  17. Da, my mistake, it was Horen V who lead his people to mass exodus. Whether that was right or wrong move for humanity, time will tell.
  18. Siegmund's eyes widen. "Sophia Horen, Christopher de Rosean, and People Tarus as Presidents of the United States of Oren....unbelievable!" He then realizes Vladislavistan wrote this in protest to his bed-times. He signs it..
  19. Siegmund nods, pleased that despite the tension between Oren and Herendul due to Ruskan prejudice and Flayish raids, the sister kingdoms may stand together against a usurper. He sends word to Herendul to discuss land and noble reform in order to ease tensions between the common folk and insure that this relationship stands to last beyond this petty rebellion.
  20. Siegmund approaches Theobalt to explain. "Twenty-some years ago, Oren led under Emperor Horen V had splintered five-ways, with Horen V of House Horen taking all of his military personal with him. There existed five kingdoms; Ruska, Renatus, Salvus, Galahar, and Adunia, each lead by upstarts who scrambled to their respective thrones. Whether they did so for personal power gain or in belief that they would best to restore humanity under one banner is up to personal interpretation. At time, I had returned from pilgrimage and sworn myself to my bloodkin, Owyn II, ruler of Ruska at time. My first priority was to unite Galahar and Ruska, as in my youth I was a ward to House Flay and served under its banner when Lord August was its ruler. Realizing our common interests, King Marcellus handed crown to me, and sailed off to isles unknown to spend the last of his days in pure bliss. This act begun to frighten old nobles of other kingdoms, as in modern history House Carrion were not renowned for their aggressive diplomacy. They began to plot, scheme, and worry, while I set course on unifying Oren further by ridding Adunians from their kingdom. They had come and settled in land of Old Rose, and were foreigners with no claim. So through strelesy raids along with aid from ex-rose resistance, we freed Kaedrin from Adunian clutches. Finally came Renatus, much of which credit belongs to two of my sons; Tuv and Ostromir. After meeting with Tuv, I had him sent to aid in Abresi and expand his network for future control, so that succession to Carrion hands would be smooth and city claimed under our rule. When King at time, William III of House Horen, went and proclaimed my bloodkin Owyn II as false heretic. However, Winters of North, strongest house of Kingdom of Renatus, supported Owyn II as true High Pontiff and we rewarded their loyalty with kingdom of Herendul. Whether creating Herendul was right or wrong is up to history and discussion, but it is what it is. William III soon realized stress and folly of ruling Renatus with his strongest house's departure and took pilgrimage, leaving our spy and puppet Silus in power. We made reform to Abresi, restoring it from shell of city it was through aid of Tuv and Ostromir, but soon saw greatest problem of all. In Godfrey's Empire, corruption among nobility was common, but it had bloated into huge problem by William's reign. They grew fat and lazy sitting on their lands building ugly landscars to honor their name, serving no use to Empire except conspiracy to further their lands and power without contributing in any economic or military sense. So Ostromir and Tuv were ordered to purge nobility, striking their lands to reclaim it for good of humanity. Afterwards, they deposed Silus, for his use as King was served and ruling through puppets would have eventually lead to instability. Salvus came under our union after talks to unify Oren from my personal envoys. King Bedevere realized we were different from Horen's whom had subjugated Salvian peoples for countless decades, and decided that he would rather be with humanity with our talks than under foreign rule by a stout master. He sacrificed his city and jewel of Salvian peoples, Kingston, to Orcish Horde in order to swear allegiance to unified Imperium of Oren, an act most valiant. However, he soon disappeared, leaving inheritance to go to me as Imperial Divinity. Our ascension to power has scared many. By ridding Renatus of it's infestation of false and unworthy nobles, where over half the populace had noble name and claim, they have banded together in futile attempt to reclaim their lands so they may squat upon them once more to build as many castles and towns as they please. Succession-wise, only Horen which rebels is Sophia, and there are many other male Horens who support our claim, thus she has no legal reason to rebel and spits upon her father's grave by defying laws he created. We wish to see Oren restored to its prime, not as a hyper-militant state but rather a beacon of human's progress and ambition, but many of these traitors instead seek to merely grab power and land once more and let Oren run stagnant. It is folly, but it is their justification as I see it."
