  1. Didn't see that, so my bad. About teacher locked magic though, those have a tendency to disappear and go inactive when the teacher(s) stop bothering. We've a lot of magics atm that are never Rped.
  2. Similar to Piercing Darkness, I see no reason why this should be a locked magic. It's interesting and I like it, but there's no reason to lock it. Locking it would just make it some weird tiny barely-present special magic for special people with special friends. That's kind of a waste.

  5. -=Out of character information=- Minecraft name: AGiantPie Have you ever been banned before and why?: Nope. Age: 17 Skype: AGiantPie How long have you been playing on the server?: I applied before Aegis began. -=In character information=- What is your name? William Harcourt, Baron of Estermeadow. How old are you? I have witnessed 47 winters. What gender are you? Last time I checked, I was male. What are you interested in? Everything. What do you want to Achieve from joining the Guild? Scholarly pursuits and collaboration with fellow artists of the craft. Where have you been educated/and by who/where? Many places by many people. I have plenty of personal experience serving in the courts of Kings and Emperors, dealing with court mages, the Mages Guild, and royal enchanters. What are your skills? I have a great deal of experience in magical endeavors, including enchanting. I also specialize in alchemy and herbalism. No other relevant skills I can think of. - William Harcourt
  6. Rofl. No. We have technology and ideologies from the 1st century AD combined with technology and ideologies more advanced than what we have in modern times. Trying to place the server in any point in history and trying to have any sort of IRL timeline cohesion is pretty much pointless. Oren is 14th-15th century Europe, no where else is. I have to agree that most actual historical armors don't look too aesthetically pleasing, at least when the helmet is being worn (Most helmets look retarded af). The reason for that is that they were designed 100% for battle and what would be most effective in battle. There are ceremonial armors that look a lot better that are designed for ceremonies (duh). No one went walking around town in their battle armor so how it looked really did not matter.
  7. As others have said, there's no real reason to invent guns. We have better alternatives in our universe so it would be kind of pointless to invent a crappy early musket.

      They are.

      In your home.

      At school.

At your work (if you work)

Doesn't matter where you are...they are always watching.

  10. I'm a huge fan of realism and always enjoy some good realistic medieval Rp, but LotC is not a place to use any sort of realism as an argument. We are about as unrealistic as you can get, so enforcing realism for this one small thing is kind of pointless. (Edit: We're actually unrealistic about stuff that we specifically try to be realistic about, such as armor slowing you down).
