  1. Excellent job! I only wish I had more than one day to play before school starts. Still excited though!
  2. Milo finishes telling his story and Falco simply sits there. He blinks a few times in disbelief, and mutters something under his breath. "Wha' a crazeh storeh. Evun craziah 'n mistah Milo.."
  3. Falco reads one of the posters. He furrows his brow and sighs. "Now wha' are weh s'pose'd ta duh with all o' dese bales o' 'ay?!" He walks off.
  4. First, I'd like to start off by saying I think these are all great ideas. So for my recommendations: I think the speed buff suits the Halfling race well, as their tiny size would make it easy for them to get around. Maybe for a Halfling, a shovel can do the amount of damage that a vanilla axe does, possibly less. This would allow us to take care of mobs, but it wouldn't give us an advantage in a PvP situation. I, personally like the slower hunger loss best. It makes sense that Orcs being so large would have to eat more, so Halflings should need to eat less. You point out that Halflings fitting in one block tall spaces would be too OP. However, is it not entirely realistic? Halflings are typically three feet (One block) tall. While I don't think that it would necessarily be a good thing, it'd be a completely realistic mechanic in my opinion. And lastly, I have to admit that the High Elves having magic resistance and increased mana is a little much. There either needs to be a de-buff added (Which I find the better solution), or one of the two buffs removed. Even being a High Elven mage, it seems a bit OP.
  5. The sun rose on the Seventeenth of Malin's Welcome. It appeared to be an average day. The birds were singing their joyful songs, and the breeze blew as it always had. In Shortwood, the Halflings arose at the break of dawn. A hearty breakfast was eaten by all, and so began their day. Some ventured to the fields with their seeds in hand, some to the pond for a good day of fishing. Others to the hills for a day of play. As the Halflings worked and played, a yell traveled to every ear within the Hamlet. It told everyone to gather at the pumpkin patch. It was most definitely an emergency. An atmosphere of anxiety joined the Halflings as they walked to the patch, whispers of rumors filling the air. As the last Hobbit entered the pumpkin patch, their worry was ended as Rich shouted to the crowd: "Taday is a goo' day ta beh a halflin'! Taday, weh 'ave been blessed bah tha Pump'in Lord! Ahh called ye all here ta join meh as we harvest the gif' given ta us bah tha Lord o' Pump'ins: Tha firs' pump'in o' Shor'wood!" All of the Halflings break out in cheers of glee and excitement. They watch as Gurnthing harvests the very first pumpkin for its life in Shortwood. This may seem like a small matter to most, but to the wee folk of Shortwood, this is the greatest gift that could be gifted to them. The pumpkin is paraded around the village by all of the Halflings as they celebrate this wonderful day. They shout praises of Knox for this wonderful blessing. Knox's face is carved into the pumpkin as old clothing is stuffed with bales of hay. They prepare the pumpkin for it's role in the Hamlet. The Halflings gather in the wheat fields to raise the very first scarecrow of Shortwood. This is a day to be cherished and celebrated for many years to come.
  6. Falco Splashroot strolls up to the notice board in front of the nearly completed inn. He leaves his vote. ((MC NAME)): Raxxtus99 Name: Falco Splashroot Are you a halfling: I am! How long have you lived among us: Since Rolo became Mayor. Are you proper: Of course! Candidate Elected #1: Falco Canidate Elected #2: Petrus
  7. To add to the question, do we know any of the other race's buffs and debuffs? I'm curious to see what each race is going to get.
  8. I apologies for any nightmares in the near further. I've put a warning so no one else has to suffer, unless they choose to. ^.^
  9. It's only Batman... Edit: Don't click the link if you're not up for a good scare ;)
  10. Rolen approaches the polling, leaving his vote. "Dasyra Linath"
  11. Please Fill This Form Out: Name: Falco Splashroot (Mc Name): Raxxtus99 Age: 28 Occupation (Get Creative): Bere-Bwere- Bewr THE POTION GUY Place Of Residence: Ivybend (Time On The Server) Uhh, yes! Do you have housing: I do!
  12. Maybe not, but he's absolutely right. Those races who don't happen to have any staff members in their community should have to be ruled by someone who knows little about the race. One more thing. How does this make any sense in RP? IG, we aren't just going to kick out all current leaders and replace them with a staff member. It should be up to the players that make up that nation to choose who leads them, because in the end, it's those players who are RPing.
  13. You're contradicting yourself here. You're saying that it would make it more fair for new players to earn a higher position, but to get the higher position, from what I understand in the main post, you have to be a staff member. Not only that, but the staff would only get busier. GM's, for example, have huge responsibilities to help run the server, and making them all nation leaders would just be installing a leader that probably can't be as active (notice I didn't say can't). If a GM nation leader is off doing GM things like answering modreq's, they can't be there to run to nation. Simply sounds like a bad idea to me. And also, I did.
  14. Falco distributes party hats to all! (Halfling sized party hats, of course) He calls out from the street corner: "Ye can' 'ave a proper par'y withou' yer par'y hats!"
  15. Falco Splashroot, Horsekeeper (Once I can get horses, that is) ((Raxxtus99))
  16. *Shrugs* I think it's a good idea. +1 Edit: I mean it would be difficult to moderate, and would be easily abusable, but if people use it the way you are intending it to be used, it'd work well.
  17. Upon reading to notices tacked to the walls of the Tomb, he slowly shakes his head. "And thus, our race begins to die..."
  18. Rolen stands in the library, placing a tome back on it's respective shelf when he hears a soft "Thump" from somewhere far off. He shrugs it off, retiring to his own room.
  19. I like the idea. The lore doesn't miss anything that I can think of, and they seems like balanced beasts. I'd enjoy running into one in the future. +1
  20. He turns back to the Grandmaster. "You've won the staff at 350 minas." ((Just PM when and where you'd like to pick it up and we can arrange from there.))
  21. ((The auction will be ending at 10pm EST, so if you wish to bid, I suggest doing it soon!))
  22. Rolen furrows his brow as she steps down from the stage. He turns to a fellow Mali'Aheral near him, whispering: "Stop me if I misunderstood, but she wishes to be Medi'ir in order to construct a dining room?" He looks around to see if anyone is going to correct him.
