Warhawke Ideology
The Cosmos and what it means to the Warhawkes:
The Warhawkes look at the cosmos as a form of guidance. For they are forever changing in the eyes of many Warhawkes. It is said that the first Chieftain, Moso'Chino spoke to an ancient being within the skies and it relayed the message of how important the cosmos is to him. Not even a day later, Moso'Chino witnessed a meteor come crashing from the sky. The meteor was said to have many inscriptions on it that only Moso'Chino and his followers could understand at the time. It spoke of a lost way of life. One not based on a god for giving guidance but instead based on following space and its never ending existence.
Each star represents a notable Warhawke after death. It is said that after death, the Warhawke's spirit bursts into a nova within space, creating a new star. Each star has a specific color, glow, shape and size to it and can be channeled to speak to as if it had a voice in Warhawke culture. Yet some stars stay undiscovered for many generations, only to be uncovered by a transcendent or a star-gazer within the Warhawkes during notable events. The stars are a very important aspect of the Warhawkes as they rely on their guidance through dark times. When there is no moon to light a way, the star is there to help light and guide the way for the Warhawke.
Igne'Acalea and its importance: Igne'Acalea was founded after a vision was given to the Fourth Chieftain, Aquaris. The fire within his vision burned a blue hue and had the depiction of past Warhawkes standing within the fire. The vision was odd to the fourth chieftain and he feared the blue flames that would light the ocean of darkness within it. The previous Warhawkes standing within the fire were not burning, though they could not leave it.
It is believed that the Warhawkes that were burning in the fire were awaiting their transition into the cosmos to become one with the rest of their fallen brothers and sisters. The prior visions and discovery of Moso'Chino led the Warhawkes to study the stars, but not like the fourth chieftain did. After his vision, the stars were study on a more spiritual level. Many attempted to make contact with the prior greats of the group yet were unsuccessful. The fourth chieftain would be known as "Seer of all" as he was the first Warhawke to successfully make contact with the stars on a spiritual level.
Ever since the fourth chieftains vision, many warhawkes studied the stars much more in depth than ever before. They spoke to an individual star in the time of need yet many were unsuccessful to make contact. The Othan family, known for herbal medicines and being an all-around wack job of the Warhawkes were the only ones that were consistently making contact for the longest time. It is rumored that the Othans had a powerful drug that, when under the influence were able to connect to the spirits much easier than the rest. Yet only one Othan that continually keeps contact remains.
Transcendent and Star-gazer's:
These are the two "spiritual" ranks given by the twin chieftains, Ereinion and Eraynion Taloha to Mawloc Othan. The transcendent rank which was given to Mawloc was gifted in response to his constant contacts to the stars and restoring faith within the tribe. The twin chieftains sought Mawloc for guidance at times, or perhaps to see what the stars had in store for the Warhawkes.
The star-gazer rank has yet to be given to an individual. Yet it will be given out to young apprentices who wish to retain the Warhawke faith and learn the ways of our history. With the passing of our elder, we are at a disadvantage and look to the stars to help guide us down the correct paths and what our past was like. The star-gazer would be for those who're seeking a transcendent position yet have not fully made contact with the stars on a regular basis.
