Are you willing to devote the required time to the Order?: Why not.
  2. Why does this even matter if it gets accepted? Its not orcish shamanism, its legitimately a seperate thing to allow orcs more dominance over the current subtypes of Shamanism than us. If anything, I would recommend you to write out events, or changes regardless of what the dark elves do with their worship! If you need help, I wouldn't mind running through some ideas with you, I mean, I was part of the Farseer re-writes and know a bit about stuff if you need help with event ideas or whatever.
  3. I'm starting to doubt you actually read the post before commenting.
  4. This is literally something completely different than orcish shamanism. Infact, this is a clarification / abilities recommendation on something already accepted. Also, funfact: Theres more lutaumen dark elves than orcs already.
  5. Whilst I would agree, you see the struggle the playerbase has with even separate dark elves from orcish shamanism in this, let alone open up more to them lmao
  6. The fact that this is written by two former shamans, with oversight from another, to make "actual" shamanism separate from that in which the dark elves practice, proves that this takes nothing from actual shamanism whatsoever, nor the orcs.
  7. That would be up to speculation in the already accepted lore (below)! Though, iirc its due to the fact that Kruul's realm persists anywhere in which reflects and darkness does, including the Ancestral plane.
  8. Most of the dark elves don't believe in this, actually. Also, if you ever read the dark elf origin lore you can find that dark elves are actually created by the Spirit of the Moon. Neat! The point of this is to clarify a previously (accepted) post, involving a specific area of the Stargush-Stroh that holds all the dark elven spirits.
  9. "I shall buy them both," another cute black person says, offering the base 1000.
  10. Anyone got alt IPs for the server? I can't connect.

We follow in the belief of the All-father, a divine entity that has watched over his "flock" since the dawn of time.  Lots of paragons who represent virtues that are favored or scorned in our society, and a developing magic.  We'd love to have you!

  12. Note: This has been a clan-think since, like Aegis, with even a named Boar being owned by Mogroka (However, I’m unsure if he ever RP’d it). Gorkil Red-furred Battle-Boars -From http://warhammeronline.wikia.com/wiki/War_Boar_(mount) - Habitat: Natives to the low-land deserts of Aegis, these Red-furred Battle-boars have long since been domesticated by the Gorkil Clan of Orcs. These boars thrive in low-land deserts and heated areas, inhabiting, and plaguing, the old oases of Aegis. In these modern times, the very few remaining boars have adapted to fit well in the mesas and savannahs inhabited by the current Gorkil orcs, excelling in the flat lands with light vegetation as an almost parasitic farrow. Size: Bred for their size and speed, the Red-furred Boars can grow from five to six feet to their backs, evening up to about the size of typical Paint Horses, albeit with thinner frames to their hardy bodies, allowing their uses for speed to overtake even on the most average sized orcs. Diet: The Red-Furred boar eats most everything, from dirt and roots to animals it may be able to hunt, making it a decent travel companion due to its ability and tendancies to charge and tackle down medium sized animals such as fawns and normal wild boars; However, it comes at a price due to the almost extreme amounts of food that the Red-furred boar requires. Temperament: While being domesticated to work and hunt alongside the Gorkil cult of speed, commonly known as the Dust Riders, the Red-Furred boar in itself, still is a boar, and has a short attention span and quick temper, much like any true Gorkil in a bout of bloodrage. Because of this, Red-Furred boars while not led by their masters are quick to frighten or anger, often leading roaming or wild boars, which are almost impossible to find due to their almost extinction, to flee or charge at any who randomly approach them. Brief summary of the creature: Red-Furred battle boars are large, almost horse-sized battle boars originating from Aegis. The boars maintain thinner frames that allow high speeds during charges, favorable to the Gorkil berserkers who ride them, making them effective mounted shock troopers; However, due to this the boars often find themselves being quite fragile, with the same weaknesses a normal boar has, but the larger size of target. Original statement: “There exists within the Gorkil clan a subculture of speed-addicted clansmen, riding through the desert on red-furred boars. Discovered long ago in the wild, and notable for their leaner frames but vastly increased speed, these red boars were quickly domesticated and bred to serve the clan. Gorkils who rode these beasts quickly became addicted to the high speeds they were travelling at, racing each other throughout the deserts, screaming at the top of their lungs. Dubbed "Dust Ridurz" by their fellow clansmen, they gained a reputation as fast, hit and run shock cavalry in battles, their small numbers and relatively fragile mounts being offset by the sheer speed they were travelling at. They are known to commonly don red warpaint to honor and imitate their mounts, although shades of blazing orange and, in extreme cases, bright pink, are not unheard of. They maintain a rivalry with the Dash Cult of the Lurs, both subcultures being extremely similar to one another.” These boars use to inhabit low-elevation terrains, finding trouble to move up large slopes while being ridden, but excelling at darting down the slopes when the need arises. Their appetites are extremely large, with entire farrows of these boars known to have eaten and destroyed entire areas of its vegetation and wildlife when non-domesticated. Characteristic: (Behaviour, Reproduction, Gathering food) Known to quickly charge, or flee, from those who approach, these fast boars are extremely hard to domesticate, with only the Gorkil clan being known to do it as of yet. However, once attached to a person, or each other, these boars have the tendency to “adopt” a being, with entire farrows known to accept due to a single boar, leading to different farrows of boars existing for different factions of Gorkils and their friends they decide to bestow a boar to. The Red-furred boar lives and reproduces in a way much like the orcs themselves, bullying those who find themselves in their territory and mating freely amongst each other, with the strongest of the Boars taking multiple mates specifically for themselves. Origin: The Red-furred Boar originated in the deserts of Aegis, travelling in groups, or farrows, from oasis to oasis, devouring the wildlife and vegetation along the way, eventually finding themselves in a Orcish nomadic camp, upon charging, and being pinned by the orcs, these fierce and fast boars were eventually domesticated for their size and speed, quickly becoming a favorite of any adrenaline loving Gorkil. Weaknesses: The Red-Furred boar, albeit fast, has an ultimately thin frame, making them unrideable by extremely large orcs and Ologs, as well as vulnerable to any sort of attacks by blade or bow. Because of this weakness, their fierceness and quickness to charge or flee is the main survival technique bred into the boar, in quite literally a fight-or-flight way of life. LM Approval Required: No - Gorkil bred and kept, much like the Lur Wolf If playable, what are redlines? The Red-Furred Boars are a RP’d mount that has been used by the Gorkil clan for some time, known for their speed and attitudes. Ultimately, the Boar would be a rideable alternative to battle horses, with the only real ability outside of riding being their tendency to charge at things in battle, being much weaker than their other Orc Clan counterpart, the Lur Wolf, in actual combat, but with the best bred of the Boars being much faster, leading to competition between the two clans. The Boars would only be rideable by those Gorkils Orcs who have trained with their boar, or farrow members, as well as those who had been gifted a Boar for great deeds and service to the clan.

  14. Finding RP rather idle and attempts to interact with my current characters are met with being ignored by communities or groups, would anyone possibly be able to recommend a new character idea or location to try to find some RP? :)

  16. 9101e50137b7b972cbfa4c4b1ff5214f.png Your MCName: WarsongFarseer Is this Legend a Player Character? (y/n) If so, list their MCName: Y/(Formerly WarsongFarseer) Legend Name: Ser Lancer the Lancer Legend Race/Birthplace/gender/brief history: Human / Petrus / Unknown Ser Lancer the Lancer is a former, now desceased, Orenian Mounted Lancer who sacrificed himself and his noble steed to save the 1st Adrian Regiment. RP belief about the legend (Why people view them positively/negatively. What people know in RP pre-events.): The Legend of Ser Lancer the Lancer is that of fame throughout the Orenian riding corps. Lancer was an unknown Orenian mounted Lancer who heroically rode his steed into the dwarven fort of Eastpoint, striking down three dwarves and seriously wounding the garrison commander in an attempt to allow the First Adrian regiment room to flee from an overwhelming number of dwarven legionnaires. Brief OOC overview of Legend story (What actually lead to them becoming a legend. This may be the same as the RP belief, or it may be different.): Lancer is a old Adrian joke of a roadside skirmish in Athera, in where the character rode into eastpoint and heroically martyred himself in service of the Kingdom. It was spread throughout the community with super exaggerated stories, such as the one of the knight who slew the entire dwarven force with ten swords in hand. How the Legend would be proliferated in RP (If this involves books/stories, you may wish to write them with the submission. Once the Legend is fully accepted you may RP knowledge of the legend, however you may only RP the RP BELIEF of the legend, not any OOC overview knowledge. Otherwise, the ET will do our best to introduce the Legend in-game.): The Legend could be spread throughout books, stories, and even an event line, praising the heroism of a few in order to save the many. What events would you like to occur around this legend? (ex, discovery of the Legend’s gravesite, retrieving of the Legend’s body, discovering something the Legend created/did): An event in which a relic of Ser Lancer the Lancer, such as his legplate (He was stricken in the leg until he bled to death by the small dwarven legionnaires), his saddle, or even his famous orc-skull helm. Relics Associated: Ser Lancer’s armor and saddle, all of which are missing.
