Why did I deny you? Your ORQs were a tad strange, you were not in your character properly, kind of in the future tense... You answered your ORQs in the future tense. Your character is there right now, in that situation, and he is acting right now. There is no 'I would' there is 'Bob IS'. For he is there, and he is in that circumstance. You need to roleplay as you would on the server, as your character would. He is there, what is he doing? Is he running? Is he fighting? He does not get to plan ahead, there is no ‘would’ there is ‘is’ and ‘are’. Present, not future. ORQs were short Short answers in the ORQ section are not adequate. We need to know what your character sees, thinks, smells, feels and hears in that situation, to an extent that we are there, and we know exactly how your character would react if it were allowed into the world of Asulon. Character had magic Your character wants to come into Asulon knowing magic. Sadly, you cannot be accepted with magic in your application. Having magic makes you a tad overpowered, and you will have to learn magic ingame with the correct lore and guilds supporting your learning. You cannot merely come into the server with knowledge of a billion spells, you need to learn them throughout our time on the server. Well hello merry men and women of Asulon! I have been told to write this post, a campaign of sorts, to, and I quote, ‘Plea for your votes’ I am going to try to do that in the best possible way here, and I hope that after you read this, you vote for me and understand that I would be good for the AIC. Many of you may not know me, may not have heard of me. I am a Forum Moderator on LoTC, and do my best everyday to help the community. In every way, shape and form, I try to do my best to help you guys. I try to be the first one to clean up spam, the first one to solve the issues that you are having on the forums. Everyday, I wake up and think, ‘What am I going to do today?’. This is all for you guys, to help you. I am also in the Application Team, or as we like to call it, The A-Team. I control the flow of people who enter this server, along with the team, and do my best to do it efficiently. Now, being in the AIC would only let me help you guys more. It would allow me to get your ideas heard, who doesn’t want a part in this amazing community? I could make that happen for you guys! Any suggestions you may have on improving Asulon in any area of the gameplay, I would be there for you, because, quite frankly, I love you guys. As I stated, a lot of you may not know me, for one reason or another. And I am sorry for that, I really am. I really want to know all of you guys, I want to become friends with each and everyone of you. It is not because I am looking for fame, it is merely because I love you. All of you. Each of you has your own special way of being absolutely awesome, and that awesomeness needs to be heard, that awesomeness needs to be seen by the Admins and such. Asulon needs your awesome, my friends, and if I were to get in the AIC, I would allow you to give it to this amazing world we have. The AIC is here to improve Asulon, and we cannot do that without your ideas, your input, and, your awesome. I am rambling on a bit now, but really, everyone here deserves to be heard, everyone needs a voice. If I were to be on the AIC, I would get your voices heard. I would get those screams and shouts out there! They would be there for all to see! They would be in our world, you can be part of it! I would undoubtedly enjoy being in the AIC because of how much I care for you guys, but that cannot be done without votes against my name. That cannot be done without you guys saying, ‘Hyperion deserves this!’ Do I deserve it? That is up for you to decide really. All I know is that everyday I wake up, everyday I come to the forums, to LoTC, and everyday I try to help you. Everyday I try to take workload off of the admins, everyday I try to just be me. And in the AIC, I would be able to help more! I would be able to do more, see more, meet more people, and help more people. I have always said the power is in the player, and it truly is. You guys get to decide who gets in this AIC and who doesn’t, what ideas live and what die. The most important position is the player, and the power is now in your hands.

Why did I deny you? Your character was villainous... Your biography and your ORQs included villainous acts. These acts cannot be undertaken on the server without the use of a villain application. You cannot obtain a villain application unless you are an active member of the server for at least a week, meaning that we cannot accept this app with villainous deeds included. We need to know what your character sees, thinks, smells, feels and hears in that situation, to an extent that we are there, and we know exactly how your character would react if it were allowed into the world of Asulon. Your roleplaying defintion wasn't there? Your roleplaying defintion was incorrect. It did not hold all the information that you need to know in regards to roleplaying in the world of Asulon. You need to know how to do it correctly, and thus, you cannot be accepted without us knowing that you know what it means. Your character seems overpowered... People, things, animals, everything has a weakness. Quirks, flaws, you name it, everything has their kryptonite. Your character didn't seem to have this trait, these weaknesses,, and because of that, it would be unfair to allow him to interact with other people, due to the fact that roleplay with him would not be fun. Why did I deny you? Your definition of metgaming was incorrect... Your metagaming definition did not properly show and outline what you need to know. Use examples, make sure that we are aware of your exact knowledge of the term, and how to avoid using it.
