I can see the huge amounts of effort put into this, and I can see with language distances that in the definition it was a bit hard for you to get your point across, but you got it across all the same. In a nutshell, it's the core of this server. It's becoming a character, living through their experiences, events, thoughts, feelings and emotions. It's differing said character from your own experiences and somewhat 'becoming' it. It is living in a different environment, and meeting new people, and developing your character. In your own Words, define what the act of Metagaming is *shivers* Metagaming, metagaming. On LoTC, it is seen as acknowledging OOC or using OOC things to better or improve your roleplaying experience, or your IC knowledge. An example of this is using a nameplate to find someone through walls or through any obstacles. It is knowing something your character couldn't, like another character's name. Did this character tell you their name? No! It was just in the text when they talked, and does your character see text when he/she talks? No! In your own Words, define what the act of Powergaming is Powergaming, basically, on LoTC, is not letting another person react to roleplaying. It's like when those pesky Guards of Galahar were all '*cuffs the man' without letting him escape this cuffing. Basically, a better RPing line would be 'attempts to cuff the man' as this gives the man a chance to react, and a chance to roleplay efficiently in that situation. In-Character Character Name Jona Ireheart What Race are you? Dwarven What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race) No subrace for Jona. Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.) Smashing her ale down, laughing at the story told around the camp fire, she shared a grin with the Dwarf beside her. They were not laughing with the man, but at him. To think his drunken tales were somewhat funny would be preposterous, what kind of tale regarding a loss of a fight was funny? To hear of this man's issues was not only a laugh for Jona, but a temptation. Smashing her ale down again, she swung a fist at the man, purely for the hell of it. The Dwarves around her laughed and pointed, the man aimlessly squirming around the floor. Jona grinned, and laughed. She kicked her feat up, and enjoyed the warmth of the fire. "Jona, what the hell are you doing?" Helga, Jona's mother asked. Helga had somewhat valued beauty, always admiring the natural beauty of the elves, trying to shape herself into that image. The truth was, she was but a bearded Dwarven lady with dreams like any other. Jona had never admired anything of such nature, seeing her lack of beauty as a sign of her heritage, a sign of her Dwarven nature. 9 at the time, she strolled out of the cavern that her family owned, and into the larger carverns of Karik. Yawning, she stomped down the road. A fly buzzed in her face, annoyed, she grabbed it, and shoved it into her mouth. Chewing on in nonchalantly, she continued down the path. Jona rubbed her favourite outfit into the mud, just to annoy Helga. She rubbed dirt and worms into her dull brown hair, and brushed dirt on her thighs. Laughing at the disgust this would bring her mother, she stomped away, splashing the water from the recent rainfall over her clothes, making them sodden and unclean. Even though she often liked to make herself look disgusting, she valued herself very much, and had a very high self esteem. Sure, she sometimes didn't look the part, but which Dwarf did? She valued intelligence over all of this, and knew that if anyone so much as questioned her regarding her looks, she had her two favourite weapons on the end of her arms that could help her. Secretly though, she knew that she was somewhat good-looking or appealing to others, but she despised it, and covered it up with anything she could find. Dirt, mud and suchlike. What is your Character's ambitions? Jona doesn't really have any ambitions, being a young dwarf at the age of 20, she hasn't set any life goals yet. She just wanders around the caverns of Karik, and occasionally ventures into Human territory. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format) Yeah I know, isn't overly fantastic. I'm having a better one made. Other Information about your Character Open-Response-Questions Answer at least three out of five listed Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Yawning, Jona strolls over to them. She watches what is happening between them, examing the situation and making a deduction about what is happening. She has never really enjoyed Halflings, as she see's them as a disgrace to their race, an elf that has not formed properly. She decides not to take a side yet, but keeps walking. The warrior's, after seeing Jona, divert their attention from the halfling, to her. She notices one of them lick their lips. She almost laughs in their face, being the overconfident woman she is. She yells, "What do ye scumbags want with me and this wee halflin, dsigrace to nature it be?" One of the warriors laughs in Jona's face, and spits in her eyes. "What is it to you, ugly woman?". Jona, deciding to protect her honour, swings a fist into the one in her nearest proximity. He ducks and weaves, and pulls a knife out of a sheath on his belt. "But a wee man uses a knife to fight, a real 'un uses his bare 'ands." The warrior's both laugh, and the other also brings forth a weapon. Jona decides she has lost the fight, these two men are weak enough to use weapons, so she trolls away, cursing at them all as she does. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "'ello there Mister Human. 'ave you got any wares for me today?" The man seems uptight, so Jona adds, "You might find yerself a bit more cheery with a wee pint of ail." The man asks, confused, "How do you mean, madam?" Jona replies, "'ell you seem pretty...what's the word? Unhappy?" The man states that he is just doing business, and he is not one to be happy while doing it. It is how he lives his life, he does not see it as a thing to feel emotion about. Jona sighs, "Maybe, if you ever find yerself in me homeland of Karik, you could lose your attitude and drink beside a camp fire. That is the life for anyone who want's to live." Jona strolls off, forgetting why she came to that hopeless store in the first place. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond? *Not answering* Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Jona shouts up at them, "OI! A woman needs help here!". Shocked, they rush around, finding food and water to help Jona. She stumbles around the camp, and snatches a loaf of bread from a child. He cries, she yells at him to shut his mouth. Somewhat able to move again, she looks around for more food. A member of the camp rushes to her with ten cooked porkchops flowing out of his hands. She grabs them and munches down on them wistfully. Tired, sleepy and worn out, she lies where she stands, and sleeps so that she may travel further in the days to come. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information? *Not answering*

Why did I deny you? Your definition of powergaming was incorrect, in accordance to this server's ruleset. The type of powergaming you described was definitely a type, but wsa not the MAIN form of powergaming frowned upon in this server. And you HAVE to have a skin. Why did I deny you? Seriously don't want to deny you, but I feel as if you didn't give enough information in the ORQs about how your character acts and the like. Basically, give more detail about events, and how your character acts and feels in those situations. Overall your app was raelly good, but it is just this one bit you need to fix. Also, make it look a bit better and more appealing. Format it and make it look all awesome, and then you will be accepted.
