  1. Just as a point of interest, here's what the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has to say about cyber-bullying, in the school setting, at any rate: http://www.scribproquo.com/2012/01/23/case-summary-the-queen-of-charm-loses-her-appeal-kowalski-v-berkeley-county-schools/

  3. "Well! I've often seen a cat without a grin," thought Alice: "but a grin without a cat! It's the most curious thing I ever saw in my life!"

  4. Come to think of it, I've never seen anyone roleplay going to the bathroom. Does this bode ill or well?

  6. So, LotC is technologically advanced up to about the 1300-1400's, aye? However, what geographical region are we using as reference? Different places in the world were significantly more advanced than others during that time period as far as I can tell.

We aren't advancing in terms of real life. Not at all. In fact, LoTR didn't advance much at all over 3000 years.

Yar, but like, are we basing our tech off of tech from Europe or tech from Egypt/Arabia/China/the whole world. From my basic wiki understanding, Europe was way behind a lot of other regions in the world due in part to the Black Plague and so on and so forth. Other places weren't affected by this and Egypt was pretty darn advanced even in 2500BC-ish as well--i.e. advanced glassworking and astrology for the time.

It depends on the society. Some races/groups are more advanced than others.
