Lorik III and Lorik IV meet their deaths today by the terrible plague that has spread in the Fringe. Lorik V rises.

Lorik III wonders around Vekaro, seeming extremely sickly.

((I beg of ye to listen to the music!)) The moon rises in the Fringe, all is silent... Though in the city of Vekaro, one would hear a disturbing noise in 3 Sun's Smile Avenue. Inside that home, Lorik the Unlucky lies on his dirty bed, groaning in pain. His left hand was missing, as well as an eye. Makeshift bandages covered the wound. However, blood stains litter all around the home. Neighbors attempt to aid the sickly man, but he is too weak to open the door! The citizens of Vekaro are upset that Lorik must be in such pain! Days later, the groaning and moaning halts... A few strelts barge into Lorik's locked home, using tools nearby. They find Lorik the Second deceased, perished... gone. All of Vekaro will recall the Protector of the Sun's Smile. In the corner of Lorik's room, an infant is found. A crude piece of paper is left by the child. It reads, "Lorik III."
