  1. ((I'd like to thank the Antags as well for putting up with me when I was with you guys. You're all fantastic people and fantastic roleplayers... keep on doing what you do, and let's get back to our original stories now. I had a blast playing Vak'thuul, and watching all your Harbinger's stories develop. This shall be a story to remember, I feel. <3)) Back in the Fringe, an old man stands up. Over the years, he had seen many horrors. Scourge cultists and Harbingers alike had terrorized their everyday lives. Chaos had been the constant theme. "Maybe now... we can finally live our lives... free of their awful power..." He chuckles, beginning to write letters to his family. His children, who he had neglected in the fight against the Scourge. He had all but disappeared in the last few years. "I 'ave left them in the dark far too lon'... Now... maybe... we can all slow down, aye? When Anthos bands together... anythin' is possible. An'... y'know what? For the first time in a lon' while... I feel glad."
  2. I do hope I didn't screw it up too badly for you folks. You were all excellent to work with, and all great RPers :D
  3. Today, on the 25th of the Deep Cold, the Great Wyrm Setherien fell, struck by the Golden Lance. His corpse gone forever... only the impact that he had upon this world and their people. His servants gone... His influence gone... the reason to fight him gone... He is finally defeated... And so it ends, years of pain and suffering at the receiving end dealt back to the evil 'God'... And so it ends, all the torn apart families in war and destruction and corruption... And so it ends, the reign of a mad God... And so it ends, a terrible era for the people of this world. What is next... none shall truly know... But it will be something truly amazing. Even though I moderated... that was fun. The storyline, while over, was incredible, with so many people putting so many hours of work into it to make it the best that it could be. Whether Harbingers, Cultists, Moderators, Leaders, and even the occasional Wyrm, it was amazing. I'm just thanking all you folks that worked towards it, and all that participated in the event, even with the bumps in the road. And so ends the Antagonist. Crayfish Out Also, this is by no means official, :P. I just wanted to express my gratitude to you guys. It was a fantastic story, and I look forward to more in the future. Crud, I'm getting sentimental -.-
  4. People like grapes.

  5. "Oh, yes please!" "French? Do you mean Auvergnian? And how would they be drawn? Um... sure...?" Yulnii then attempts to figure out what a 'French girl' is.
  6. The family of the Elibar'acal sits in their tower. Each has an identical gold necklace in the shape of an owl. Each possesses the same strange magic of Fi'hiiran'tanya. Yulnii, Lorei, Vulchirr, Naeri, Asul... and more, lost to the shadows, with names unknown or identities hidden for centuries. Their own version of purity was different. While some aided the mali'aheral cause, others worked alone, developing their skills in hope for a brighter, magic free future. Elibar'acal. Some could say the name means 'Cursed Owl'. But those people are wrong. For you see, some did not heed the call of silver. They heeded the call of gold.
  7. "Well... it works more as redirection, so I'd be constantly taking out what you put in! This is technically speaking, of course."
  8. "Well excuse me! I work in other ways, more along the lines of providing good deals on sheep and ensuring they have adequate pens. I help... I just cannot fight. My wool is too soft."
  9. Baa extends his tongue, and out rolls a little white egg. When it hatches, a fully grown sheep pops out! "His name is Frederick. Don't tell anyone of him." Veldryn scratches his head. "W-we're... a bit... young... B-but... I do like you. Honest."
  10. "Ah... lived with 'Dunians m'self for a li'l while, when I was youn'. Then I got a bit from me ol' Dwarven sarge in the military, Dvari. 'E was a loud ol' one, an' I fear 'e rubbed off on me." All the characters go insane. "Huzzah! Huzzah I say!"
  11. "I had no idea I was so popular! I will marry you, and never let you two down so long as you wear sheep suits and preach the glorious name of Baa!" "Ah, Miss Elorna, that's my birthmark... extends 'cross 'alf m'body, dontcha know. Everyone in my family 'as it." "Oh, I love druids! They always keep very good care of sheep!" "Maybe... but for now, myself and my brothers remain spirits of Animal Transaction." "I'm sorry, I only deal in sheep transactions. War is not for my wool, I fear."
  12. "Why... yes... In fact, I'm the single biggest thing in Sheep Purchases. I got some sweet sheep holding pens down the way. Wanna catch a lift to there?" "Yes... why?" *clears throat* "Yus." Crayfish's note: All of my characters are lonely ;-;
  13. "I am... a tad frightened of the dark, dear sir. Wolves and nasty things come out there. Much more... stressful. Heh... eheh... heh..." "Ugh! I am nothing of the sort! I am, in fact, a girl. I have always been a girl!" *fumbling with the lute and snapping of strings is heard* "J-just a second... m-m-m'lady!"
  14. Hey folks! Looky here, my reputation just hit 321 :D And since we have that LoTC tradition of doing an AMA whenever a person hits a certain number of posts or rep, I decided to do something special! Urara did this once, I believe. Here's how it works. What you do is, instead of asking me a question, you ask one of the characters I play here on LoTC a question. It can be OOC, IC, whatever. Have fun with it! None of this counts as actual RP, of course. Here are your options: Kristian von Craw "I'm a soldier o' nigh on thirty years... a good ol' sword is all y'need, aye?" Yulnii Elibar'acal "Karin'ayla. Tahn'siol's resident anti-mage, at your service." Veldryn Isttel "One day I'm going to be a great warrior!" Eleyas Camoryn "Hrm... this whole thread needs more... yellow!" Tomas Trancy "Music is the solution to this world's problems... may I play you a song?" And last, but definitely not least... Baa "I am the Minor God of Sheep Transactions. Yes. I am a talking sheep. Stop staring, it's rude!" So... ask away, folks! Don't be shy!
  15. Getting advice from a golem about love. Just a normal day on LoTC.

  16. Alrighty, let me say my opinion through personal experience. Scripting is not, per se, simply writing up a script for an event. Scripting is making sure you know how people will react to an event, and planning accordingly. We all want the same end result, and we'll reach it in time. However, plowing through everything before it is ready is not the best idea! Do you guys remember the spire event? (Oh lordy, the storm of crud that came from that was massive. For those who don't remember: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/107137-we-cant-help-those-who-dont-want-to-be-helped/). There was nothing more than a basic idea, and it led to... well... disaster. Planning is essential. Time is essential. We just need to be kind, courteous, and take it slow and enjoy ourselves. Be nice to people! Crayfish out.
  17. Granted, Kitten, folks are only using about a quarter of the whole map. There is no one past the green plains area. Who knows? Maybe it is one big city, with various small cities colliding into each other to make the final product. Much like cities in the real world, like New York and Tokyo.
  18. I love you all! :D

  19. House Crakehall The lord of Crakehall, Lukas Crakehall sits at the tables with other House heads, a thin smile crossing his stubbly face. The middle-aged man has wrinkles along his face, as if he is constantly in deep thought. As the reveling and constant chatter surrounds him, he takes part in several conversations, but none seem to take his fancy too much. With eyes as hard as his blade, he gazes over all the lords present, viewing their temperaments and actions. "Crakehall will enter seven of our best knights in this tourney," he says, speaking to no one and everyone at the same time, "My son, Sumner Crakehall, the Knight of the Boar, first among them. The other six shall be my other son, Lukas II, two of my nephews, Seth and Erik, two smaller knights, and a young hedge knight who has proven himself among many tournaments in our own court, Bran Lonston. The five I named shall compete in the individual tournament." A thin finger running along his wine glass, Lukas gives a haughty smile. "We shan't need more." The lord's retinue is rather large for such a small house, but they are attempting to make an impression. The two daughters, Elenya and Kelsey, sit at several of the tables, smiling and talking with hushed tones to others. The sons, however, act completely different from each other. Sumner talks confidently and loudly, toasting at every occasion and making winks at the women in the room. Lukas II, however, seems more interested in his books and music than at the concept of a tournament. Back at Crakehall, several actions are made by the brothers of the lord in his absence. The first is the improvement of roads around the way to Casterly Rock and Old Oak, and the second an attempt to create new farms for the peasantry, in hopes of increasing revenue. Approximately 75 dragons are spent on the roads, and 50 on the farms. A letter is sent to the Lannisters and Gardeners, seeing if they have any children available for marriage. OOC -Improving roads and farms in Crakehall. -125 gold to treasury. 400-125=275. -Announcing of seven knights participating in tourney, five in individual combat. -Marriage proposals to Lannisters and Gardeners for the children of Lukas Family Crakehall Lukas Crakehall (51 years) - Unmarried, head of house Mikael Crakehall (47 years) - Married (Sarah Crakehall), brother of Head Boryl Crakehall (42 years) - Married (Shirle Crakehall), brother of Head Children Children of Lukas Sumner Crakehall (26 years) - Unmarried, heir to house Lukas Crakehall the Second (24 years) - Unmarried Kelsey Crakehall (23 years) - Unmarried Elenya Crakehall (19 years) - Unmarried Children of Mikael Seth Crakehall (22 years) - Unmarried Erik Crakehall (18 years) - Unmarried Sarah II Crakehall (14 years) - Unmarried Children of Boryl Samwell Crakehall (4 years) - Unmarried Ellen Crakehall (1 year) - Unmarried
