The Princedom of Fenn
Laws drafted on the 20th of the first seed, 1606 by the Grand Council and Grand Prince Aelthir Tundrak II.

In this document, the laws and civil liberties of each individual that has decided to take citizenship upon the Princedom of Fenn are written out. Officially drafted by the Grand Council of Fenn, this document is approved by his Holy Majesty, Grand Prince Aelthir Tundrak II, protector of the Mali’Fenn, blessed by the Seven.
I. Civil Liberties:
1. Equality: By ordinance of the Grand Council of Fenn, all citizens of the Princedom of Fenn- whether they are born or naturalized are considered equal in all matters of law, respect, and social status by the state. Citizens of the Princedom of Fenn which carry Principality Passports are free from social constraints within the Princedom of Fenn. Prejudism for a race, gender, social status or orientation is strictly prohibited within the Princedom of Fenn. Breaking this civil liberty will be punished by fine of 250 mina, and/or banishment for noncitizens breaking this civil liberty.
2. Rights: By ordinance of the Grand Council of Fenn, all citizens of the Princedom of Fenn- whether they are born or naturalized and carry Principality Passports receive the following freedoms:
Speech: Citizens of the Princedom shall not be detained for speaking out against injustice that they may see within the government of the Princedom of Fenn. They are permitted to speak their mind without fearing being imprisoned for it. This does not permit citizens to make threats or verbal assaults towards other citizens, military or government officials.
Religion: Although the Princedom of Fenn does have an official religion, citizens of the Princedom of Fenn which have been assigned a Principality Passport are able to worship their deity as long as it does not disrupt nor harms the lives of the citizens of the Princedom.
Trial: All citizens of the Princedom of Fenn which have a Principality Passport will receive a trial directly after being arrested. They shall either be indicted or released by a designated judge of the Grand Council. Citizens may not be executed on the spot unless directed by the Grand Prince, or they are a threat that is not able to be taken care of through non-lethal means.
Magic: Citizens of the Princedom of Fenn- whether they are born or naturalized and have a Principality Passport have no restraints to use and learn magic within the Princedom of Fenn as long as it does not disrupt nor harm the lives of citizens or noncitizens.
Universal Rights: The Princedom of Fenn recognizes the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the descendant races and other* is the foundation of freedom, justice, and peace within the realms.
Everyone, as a member of society, has the right to social security and is entitled to realization, through national effort and international co-operation and in accordance with the organization and resources of each State, of the economic, social and cultural rights indispensable for his dignity and the free development of his personality.
Everyone is entitled to education and furthering their knowledge.
All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law.
No one shall be held in slavery or servitude.
All people are born free and equal in dignity and in rights.
These freedoms were given to the people of the Princedom of Fenn with the blessing of Grand Prince Aelthir Tundrak II. Citizens shall not be denied the ability to exercise these rights.
3. Office: All citizens of the Princedom of Fenn- whether they are born or naturalized and have a Principality Passport have the liberty to hold any government position.*
Higher government positions i.e Grand Council positions have restrictions. Only those of Mali’Fenn blood* may hold higher positions which are appointed by the Grand Prince
* - One Mali’Fenn parent is considered a Snow Elf in the eyes of the state.
II. Laws of the Princedom of Fenn:
This section outlines the maximum punishment for breaking the laws within the Princedom, except for Class C Felonies. Felonies are recorded and are brought up during the trial period.
Class A Felony:
Theft - 200 mina fine, 2 days prison.
Minor Assault (verbal threats) - 50 Mina fine.
Assault - 300 mina fine, 1-week prison.
Racism/Prejudice - 250 mina fine
Traveling without Principality Passport - 10 mina fine.
Practicing magic without a license: 20 mina fine.
Class B Felony:
Assault with a deadly weapon (non-lethal) 500 Mina fine, 3-week exile.
Arson: 300 mina, 4-week exile.
Desertion: 500 mina, 4-week prison.
Damaging private property: 400 mina.
The verbal assault on military or government officials (verbal threats) - 600 mina, 5 weeks exile.
Class C Felony:
Assault with a deadly weapon (lethal): Temporary exile or execution. (Trial)
Assault on the Princedom: Execution, no trial
Assault on military or government official: permanent exile or execution, no trial
Kidnapping: Temporary exile, or execution. (Trial)
Assault on royalty: Execution, no trial.

Principality Passports
Principality Passports are the identification of each and every citizen of the Princedom of Fenn. Your Principality Passport is your main form of identification in the Princedom and is required when you try to get a job or home within the Princedom. Your Principality Passport is highly important, as it is needed to enter government buildings, for trials, and for special events held at the Citadel. The Principality Passport holds your full name, race, eye color, skin color, hair color, height and estimated weight. All citizens are required to have their Principality Passports on them while inside the Princedom of Fenn. NEVER release your Principality Passport to anyone, including to the members of the Grand Council. Members of the Grand Council already have a copy of your Principality passport in case it gets lost, so no one has any reason to take it from you. If you are lawfully exiled by a court of Fenn or by the collective Grand Council with an official Grand Council ordinance, your Principality Passport will be blacklisted. Being caught inside the Princedom during an exile may cause in an extension of the exile, or execution via court decision. You are required to meet with a Grand Council member to confirm your Principality Passport
