“The death of Solaria Soulheart has brought great grief to my heart and that of the council. She lived for her people, protected and played a big role in the development of the Silver Enclave. It is a true shame another great leader, and friend must depart from our realm. You will be missed, Solaria – may you find the peace of heart mind and body you were looking for. You were the true heroine of Haelun’or.” Alyrion finishes his short speech, leaving a bouquet of red flowers at the foot of her statue in the silver district where she is now laid to rest.

The coat of arms represents the union between the Drakon and Tundrak bloodlines, and the family's task to protect and serve the Princedom of Fenn. History The Drakon Bloodline has long played an integral role amongst the Snow Elven people. The first of the Drakons and founder of the bloodline was Celennor Drakon, who passed through the World Altar alongside his future comrades. Since then, the Drakon Bloodline is unusual in that it has never become separated from the Princedom of Fenn. Through the peace of the ancient era, to the trials of centuries of warfare, and finally to the present day, the Drakon Bloodline has actively served the Snow Elven people. In the absence of a Tundrak, they have even been known to reorganize the scattered Fennic people to make preparations for a restoration of the Princedom. It should thus come as little surprise that the Drakons are known to have a large amount of Tundrak blood, the two bloodlines being the most ancestrally intertwined amongst the organized bloodlines - though said relations are still relatively distant. Noted for their maritime nature and seagoing experience, these Snow Elves often find themselves in important roles amongst their people. Characteristics The Drakons possess what is often known as a swimmer’s build, as a result of their affinity for the sea. From a young age, they often learn to become adequate swimmers. Their hair is typically of a platinum or white color, with purple eyes. The average height of a Drakon tends to be around 5’10”, on the middle to lower end of the typical spectrum for Snow Elves. The disposition of a typical Drakon is one of a dominating presence. Proud of their blood, they are often considered to be loud, assertive, and honest, as well as confident - on occasion, overly so. This tends to aid them in some of the roles that they tend to take within the Princedom. Professions & Specialties One of the most common professions pursued by the Drakons is that of politics. Many Drakons strive to become bureaucrats, and those that make it to the Grand Council tend to occupy the role of High Chancellor. From this post, they serve to carry out much of the general reign over the Princedom on behalf of the Grand Prince, and aid in enacting regal policies. Furthermore, upon the Grand Council, Drakons occupying the role of High Chancellor serve to whip other Grand Council members into shape, keeping track of their work to ensure diligence, dedication, and competence. Those Drakons who do not pursue a political career typically deal in maritime professions. It is common for Drakons to join the Bilok’thuln as Orrar’sairan, or hunters, specifically performing the fishing practices of this role. From boats and shores, upon seas, lakes, rivers, and creeks, the Drakons have proven themselves to be dedicated and skilled fishermen. Other general maritime professions, such as sailing for trade and naval exploration, are also typically occupied by Drakons. Combat Style The prefered weapon of the typical Drakon is a trident. While those who enter the Ivae’fenn are trained in the usual weapons, such as spears and swords, Drakons often tend to replace their spears with tridents. Many have an innate skill with this weapon, as they are used to using tridents in their work as fishermen. Thus, the Drakon style of combat is reflected through their use of this rare weapon, as they are able to use it as a spear, throw it like a javelin, and use it as a quarterstaff. This leads to a varied, improvised style of fighting that is superior at a range, but additionally effective up close. Within the Ivae’fenn, many Drakons opt for naval service if given the choice, maintaining, manning, and commanding warships from Fennic harbors. Politics The politics of the Drakon Bloodline, within the context of the Snow Elven political spectrum, are decidedly left wing and imperialist. While many Snow Elves tend to favor isolationism and rejection of their distant Elven kin, the Drakons prefer to argue that Mali’fenn remain a part of the Elven population, and should not shut them out entirely. Furthermore, the Drakons believe that many of the Elves are misguided, and can be enlightened and advanced under Snow Elven influence and, perhaps, even rule.

Hello, friends of Malinor! I’m excited to announce a project that has been in the works for a couple months now -- the grand reset of the Mine World. Hundreds of thousands of ores will be reset, and mining will have never been easier. In order to reset your respective mine entrances, either a PRO or Region Owner will need to fill out a form here. We’re hoping to release this ~48 hours, it is important that you fill out this application at your earliest convenience so that we can get to getting your mines set up. There will be an announcement in-game and on the forums once all of the mines' entrances have been updated. Post-Edit: If your mine is not registered and updated, the portal will not lead anywhere and will be rendered useless. Thanks, GM Team & Game Dev Tem

Okay, so your application has been accepted into the activity trial portion of the nation application. This doesn't require anything else on your end outside just RPing in the city. The check will begin now and last for the next month (ending on October 19). In the meantime, though you get the benefits of a subforum specific to your group (note that failing your nation application will result in this being revoked) and a green soulstone pillar. You are allowed to modreq for your SS to be set up if it hasn't already.

A formal letter to Devirad: Any attempts to intervene in the affairs of Veris will result in a swift and instant backlash from myself, the Silver Prince of Veris, my followers and my allies. I do hope Devirad will see the mistake they are making and back down to leave Veris to work things out on its own. With much love and respect: Silver Prince Logan Drakon

I didn't think much of it at first, but yeah I guess it is vague. Partial freebuild would be something like large parts of the map should be free build, others should be regioned, for example the areas furthest away from CT would become wilderness. I noticed now that it can be seen as nation capitals are regioned, everywhere else is not. I see that it really isn't clear and we'll revote on that on the next Your View thread once the team comes up with . Once we go over it and make a plan for 6.0, I'll make a new poll explaining what a partial freebuild system would look like, because whether it's partial or full on freebuild, the majority of the votes went to some sort of system that includes freebuilding.
-
How about a nation for each of the human subraces? That would split it into the Caliphate, a heartlander nation and a highlander nation
-
We actually had this proposal made in the Region team chat when we were discussing freebuild on the next map. It's something that should be looked at and a good idea in general, A counter argument was that then roleplay would feel forced because they don't want their city ruined. Thoughts?
-
Ah, I didn't know. So in the future, do you think it should be easier for smaller groups like this that are trying to get activity up by charters or regions, making them cheaper ect. or does freebuild bypass all of this? What could we do as GMs and as the region team to discourage external roleplay?

The halflings currently don't have a nation, and are under Sutica. These nation activity check would be for those who have received full nation status from applying, or from having it since last map. That would give us an idea of what to do for next map regarding giving out land. (also, I wouldn't destroy the halflings, they're cute and I love me some halfling RP)
