  2. Jarldom of Windhelm Activity: A sea of red ran through the northern passage between Winterhold and Dawnstar. Thousands of bodies lay there, with minimal being apart of the Windhelm army. Both forces from Solitude and Dawnstar were crippled, and their leaders maimed or killed. The battle had taken the lives of fifteen hundred Windhelm soldiers, though many more in the allied armies suffered the same fate. Jarl Oskar emerged from the fray with a large majority of his force behind him. The head of the Dunmer general was firmly planted atop the banner that leads the formation. The army headed back to their holding in Windhelm, where they were greeted by loved ones and proper care, something they were not able to stop for on the way from the far northern reaches of Skyrim. Within the later months of the year, the children of Windhelm set forth once more, this time with several thousand heading north to Winterhold. A total force of six thousand light infantry, one thousand heavy infantry, twenty mages, and both catapults are sent to the ‘abandoned’ hold of Winterhold. A second force is sent east, merely twenty-five hundred light infantry, five hundred heavy infantry, four mages, and one thousand light cavalry. 3. Republic Star State of Kanata Activity: “It is… quite the construct. Is it not?” A mist of white emitted from the gaps in the Overseer’s mask as his head tilted absently upwards at the structure. Although his overall complexion was covered by the mask over his face, a sense of wonder emitted from him as his head tilted and turned to inspect the work that went into the building. “Were you able to find the builder of this? Or find its purpose?” The Overseer turned his head to the man beside him, a minister of internal affairs. “We have, Overseer. A man by the name of Bloxi had created it, along with a team of other architects, to… commend the first Overseer and those to follow. He said it was to depict the faceless duties each may uphold while keeping the balance of their own mind and the people in the same.” The Overseer’s attention had already shifted back to the statue. A brief pause of movement came over him as the final words of the Minister were said before he nodded singularity. “Thank you for showing me this Minister Adams. Provide a statement to Bloxi to request a permit to construct something of this before doing so. Otherwise, it is an immaculate display of gratitude to the Overseers.” The Minister nodded as well in return, “Of course, Overseer. I’ll be sure to address you if anything else is to arise.” With that, the two parted ways on the docks of Tarnan, the Overseer being quickly joined by a detail of guards around him for an escort. “RSSK Unitas, shipping vessel, serial Oskar-Whiskey-Charlie, approaching Oblique Station, requesting docking.” A faint click, followed by a shroud of static, emitted from the speaker in the cockpit of the shipping vessel as it began its approach to the station above York III. A few moments passed before a reply came back through, “Permission granted Unitas, proceed on current heading to loading bay Zero-Three-Two and await for cargo retrieval.” A second, and final, click came in reply to the ships request, before the line went silent and the static faded. A faint tune of western country emitted through the cockpit of the vessel as its crew prepared the final checks for docking. A mechanical hiss sounded as the pressure was relieved on the cargo containers the vessel had been transporting. A loading ship soon came by to drag the several hundred tonnes of minerals on board the station. An impressive load for the evening, to say the least. A mere singular run from the newest line of freighters and it had already out-hauled the previous class of freighters the Republic had been using. It was clear that the needs of industry were beginning to be sated in the forms of development and construction. Now with two new freighters in use, the republic was able to transport goods faster than ever. The use of these vessels was soon enough to be tested by both the military, and industry. A crunch of sticks and stones emitted through the empty valley as the survey team landed on their likeliest prospect for a future colony. “O’Two levels, Sammy?” A frail woman hopped from the transport vessel, an oxygen meter in her hands, “Optimal. Not too unlike York.” She replied to the survey lead, who took point on the journey. “Alright. Bring them out. See what they can find.” He called back as he made way down the valley. A rifle was strapped against his chest, experience pays more than regulations or textbooks do. The last encounter on a planet nearly crippled a crew member, regulations couldn’t plan for that. The faint buzz of a pair of survey drones hummed behind the leader as he looked across the walls of the valley. “Three-seven, give me a reading on the air. Anything we shouldn’t be breathing?” A faint beep emitted from the drone before a mechanical response came, “Negative, Lead Surveyor Matthews, sulphur and carbon monoxide levels are nominal. Chlorine detected, though faint. Probable cause: nearby chlorine deposit.” A sigh came from the man before he reached towards his mask and withdrew it from his face. He took in a deep breath and grimaced, “Eugh. Like a swimming pool.” A chirpy beep came from the second survey drone which was inspecting a nearby patch of plant life. Matthews took a few cautious steps over before peeking at what the drone had scanned. A singular lizard, by no means exotic, though still a sign of biological life. “Alright, send it in. Keep looking for anything of use.” Current Colonies (Station Level)(Trade Outpost Level)(Industry Level): York III (SL6) (TO1)(I3) Newark II (SL2) Goderich II (SL2) Kingston IV (SL2) Total Population: 793,800 Canadians Population Dispersion: York III - 327,800 Canadians Newark II - 228,000 Canadians Goderich II - 188,000 Canadians Kingston IV - 50,000 Canadians Trade Partners (Types of Trade): Ganvius (Civilian) Trialition (Civilian) Grand Alliance (Civilian) CHE (Civilian/Technology) ((6 Separate players)) Trade Federation Developed Industries: Industry - 0/20 AP Agriculture - 0/20 AP Military Personnel: Army - 50,000 Active Duty Navy - 21,200 Active Duty Marines - 80,000 Active Duty Fleet Capacity: Freighters - 1x Standard Freighter 2x Heavy Freighters Fighters - 500x Provectus Fighters Corvettes - 15x Rideout Class Corvettes Frigates - 12x Dundas Class Frigates Destroyers - 13x Hamilton Class Destroyer Light Cruisers - 2x Richmond Class Light Cruiser - R.S.S.K. 5. Jarldom of Windhelm Activity: A sea of black smoke cloaked the sky as fires roared around Windhelm from the camps circled around the city. Banners clapped against the harsh winds of the coast, though stood strong nonetheless. The colours of Dawnstar, Solitude, and some scattered banners of those from the Forsworn towered above the astronomical amount of tents pitched around the capital. Within the city’s walls, and The Palace of Kings, the military leaders of the armies had gathered in consideration of what should be done in terms of movement through the northern terrain. Several plans were proposed, though none of which couldn't be acted upon before the Jarls knew the positions of the armies that would be confronted. Other plans involved the use of siege equipment, and further training of men in the ranks to operate such equipment. The considerations of the leaders were heard by the resident Jarl, Oskar, which made the orders to the lesser leaders within the Windhelm army to prepare for battle. With the effort headed by Marshall Olaf, training went underway throughout the camps in order to prepare for the upcoming fights in the near future. A subsequent change was made to the army as the siege equipment completed construction, to which several dozen men were trained and operated the equipment. As the later months in the year passed, scouts returned with the information regarding the Dunmer armies, which caused further discussions between military leaders in the tactics to be used against the armies in the north. As snow began to lessen in depth, the Nords set north into hostile lands. 7. Jarldom of Windhelm Activity: Marshall Olaf sat within the war room, looking over the several pegs that had been across the board. “And the heavy infantry we sent to the mine?” He asked while looking up towards his captain across from him, “Found a vampire cult. Lost a few men, but not crippling.” Olaf nodded and looked up towards the western edge of the board, “Nifelheim is recruiting mages for others, are they not? Bring us two dozen and we’ll be able to take it.” The captain nodded before leaving and finding Flak to pay Nifelheim. 8. Jarldom of Windhelm Activity: “The rioters have been dealt with, and thrown from Windhelm. They will seek refuge in another holding, where they may cause trouble there.” Jarl Oskar finished his statement to several officials of the Jarldom within his great hall before dismissing them. “Jarl Oskar.” Flak, the Master of Coin, approached him as he left the table. “Flak. I hope you bring good news from our journey south.” He nodded once, “The town has been rebuilt, and fields are tilling as we speak. Though, the mine lays dormant.” Oskar nodded once, “Send the infantry in to clear it. Only Akatosh knows what may lay inside.” Flak dipped his head and followed the others out from the hall. “The lack of… military prowess has been noticed by many, Oskar. A few thousand more men, and we’ll be able to topple any who oppose us in Skyrim.” Oskar looked across the war table before him before nodding, “Then make it so. Restore the numbers we’ve lost in the riots and bring more men to the ranks. Windhelm seeks an expansion northward soon enough.” Olaf nodded and donned his horned helmet before leaving the room, accompanied by several captains. The hall was once more filled with people that had gathered across Skyrim to see the wedding of Oskar Stormcloak and his housecarl, Katsri Windcaller. 9. Ky Jarldom of Windhelm Activity: A singular guard captain rushed within the great hall, chanting the Jarl’s name as he attempted to get his attention. “Jarl! Jarl!” He called before being given an audience with the nord leader. “Ay lad, speak!” He called as he turned the corner into the great hall, accompanied by his two housecarls. “T-the dunmer! They’ve begun to riot! The people… began to cut and slaughter, there was nothing we could do!” A clear look of disgust came across the Jarl’s face before he dismissed the man, “Vigsgar, bring the infantry left over from the expansion and take them to the cit. Put their training to the test, and make an example of those who would rather not keep the peace.” As the population within Windhelm skyrockets, another expansion is underway. With several hundred, if not thousand nords (with some working dunmer among them), taking the road south towards Riften before stopping a quarter of the way on the bank of a river. It was there, along with their escorts, that they began to set the foundations of the second town in the east. “More riots, Jarl. This time with some nord and guards dead among us.” Jarl Oskar shook his head at the news, “Seperate the two groups. Restrict the dunmer to their quarter. If they wish to work for their residence in Windhelm, give them permits. Those who will do nothing but beg and cause trouble will be sent back to their lands. See it done, Olaf.” The Marshall nodded, before leaving with his several guards and men around him before carrying out their orders. [0 AP] Those who are not given their permits are slowly phased out from the Jarldom, beginning with men to remove the routiest of the bunch first. [0 AP]
  10. Jarldom of Windhelm Activity: “What if it be true?” Vigsgar questioned his cousin, Jarl Oskar, in regards to the recent intruder in the great hall. Oskar pursed his lips for a mere moment before turning his head towards his cousin, “Then we seek no quarrel with the man. Bjorm had been trouble in his family, as he is ours. It will be dealt with, I promise.” He finalized his statement with a shared nod in agreement with Vigsgar. Just as the two family had been discussing the status of the army, along with Marshall Olaf, a young worker bursted through the doors of the great hall, followed by a troop of heavy infantry. He was out of breath, and heaving before the Jarl and company. “M’Jarl, the docks…” He paused to breath, “The dunmer, they’re… they’re everywhere!” A collection of confused expressions came over the group before they made their way to one of the many balconies within the keep overlooking the city, specifically one which had a view of the docks. A near fleet of Dunmer built ships was upon them, though none of which were armed. Rather, they were filled to the brim with dozens of dunmer each, looking sickly and famished. Jarl Oskar turned towards the worker who followed them, “Tell the men at the docks to bring the ships in, side to side, and lay anchor outside of the port.” The boy nodded, and made way back to the docks. “Olaf, bring a hundred men and re-open the Snow Quarter, clear out the squatters that lay there and bring in the dunmer.” A mere nod was the reply before the Marshall left to his duties. “The same for you, Vigsgar, a hundred men to the docks and bring them ashore. Escort them into the city.” Several weeks later, as the dunmer were given their homes, an announcement was made to those who had been accommodated within Windhelm. “The dunmer people are to be welcomed into the Jarldom of Windhelm until their times of strife have passed.” Statistics: Population(Total) - (29,175) 28,500 Nords, 675 Dunmer Population Growth - 8,500 Nords, 675 Dunmer Income - 9 AP (Base 6 AP, 3 Trade) Constructs - N/A Production - N/A Developing Technology - N/A Developed Technology + Bonuses - N/A Standing Army - 500 Light Infantry, 500 Heavy Infantry Navy - N/A Diplomacy: Leader - Oskar Alfriksson-Stormcloak (29) Trade - Nifelheim, The Rift, Winterhold Allies - N/A Dynasty - N/A Conflicts - N/A Actions: The docks have the final pieces of work put onto them before work is put elsewhere. 11. Holding of Windhelm Activity: Jarl Oskar had only recently taken the throne of Windhelm though he had yet to take a seat in it since his ascension. It was, at last, the day into the early winter seasons that Oskar had called for a court with the people of his city. Many requests were simple, such as the dealings with thieves and bandits due to the harsh winter bearing down on them, though some were considerable like the impending shortage of food due to lack of trade into the city. The Jarl took into account each of these issues, before dismissing his subjects to their daily tasks once more. He had called several members of his newly appointed council and assigned their duties. The Marshall, Olaf Thvarjsson, had been tasked with assigning patrols throughout the city to keep the criminals at bay, as well as designate new leaders for both the infantry and archers. His final order was to, by the end of the year, find a suitable class of soldiers that would be candidates to become Housecarls to the Jarl. The master of coin was to send each surrounding nation a request of trade, as well as deal with all foreign affairs relating to the intake and sending of goods and resources. He had made a point of the roads being stable, though the docks had been dwarfed in size since the war had closed. It would be dealt with. The master of speech had dispatched several elders south, to the Rift, in order to better relations with the bountiful and lush holding. 12. Republic Star State of Kanata Activity: The Great Palace of Tarnan’s doors stood open for all to enter. The record for the largest collection of humans on a singular Kanatan planet was shattered upon the final day of the Overseer’s rule. Hundreds of thousands had made the journey across Kanatan space to bear witness to the funeral of their great leader. A man who served his nation diligently and had passed on to another realm to serve his people once more. His departure had not come in vain as he had left a successor to take the reigns of Head of State within Kanata. Wearing the bleached white robes and the Mask of Virtue, the new Overseer had been in observance of the burial of his predecessor. Only then had the people seen their leader’s face for the first and final time. A man whose features had been forgotten, name faded to dust, and positions removed at the moment of his election to Overseer many years ago laid still within the coffin. Sacred hymns began to echo throughout the cathedral attached to one of the wings of the Palace. A choir of nearly two hundred began to sing at once as the coffin was raised by several members of the old Overseer’s council. His body was carried down the centre of the cathedral, allowing all those in attendance to bear witness to the final journey of the old Overseer. A turn was taken towards an open sarcophagus that had been placed before several statues of the Overseer, each one of them overlooking the many other empty sarcophagi before them. At last, his coffin was laid within the stone chamber before being sealed with a solid marble block. The crash of the stone falling atop the sarcophagus echoed throughout the room many times, hushing the choir and all in attendance. “WE REQUIRE MORE!” The rough and raspy shout echoed throughout the council chambers within the Palace of Tarnan. The first weeks following the new Overseer’s ascension had not come easy. With the tensions rising in the east and allies faltering only to be replaced, many of the councilmen did not know what to make of the current situation of their nation. “You’ve never opened your eyes, Krieger! With this technology we could auto-” The snivelling words of the scientist were cut off by a screech of a rolling chair with a few too many rust spots lodged in the wheels. “YOU don’t seem to understand our men are dying because of your research!” His fist slammed against the table as his off hand pointed to the advisor. His mouth opened once more before he was cut short by the sound of a door hissing open behind Krieger. “Now, friends, what troubles have we caused today in my absence?” The voice emitted across the room with a soothing aura. An almost mechanically perfected one at that. The white-gloved hand of the Overseer pressed onto Krieger’s shoulder to urge him to sit. “Being brash will have no benefit here, General Krieger. This is a council chamber, not a war room.” The Overseer glided towards his seat around the table opposite of Krieger. “Your equipment shall be made, while our technology shall advance. The foreign nations have taken a liking to our stockpiles of resources.” The smile could be heard in the man’s voice as he turned towards the man on his left dressed in a spotless white dress uniform. “Admiral, is there anything you may add to the discussion?” Admiral Krashnov Viladski took a mere drag from his cigar in thought. “The capital ship portion of our fleet outclasses most others… Though, the lack of screen vessels to protect promotes unsatisfactory outcomes in conflicts.” The brawny Russian accent in the Admiral’s voice was unmistakable. The Overseer merely nodded, then waved them off to their respective sections of the palace. “Very well. Your issues have been heard, and will be addressed.” “J-Ja! ‘Course O’erseer, ser!” The rambling of the head foreman within the industrial bays of the lower levels of Tarnan echoed back over the radio at the Overseer’s request. Jöntün hadn’t been tasked with an order in some time, and the new production lines were ready to go to work. He approached a hanging microphone within his office before flipping a red switch, turning on the transmission to the entire assembly plant. “Jöntün ‘ere lads n’ lasses! We gots us a bigg’un! Deadline’s end o’ t’year! So le’s get to work!” The forges began to glow red hot as the mechanical arms slid and clacked across the ceilings. The casts for the A.T.C.-70’s plates had been in storage for some time, though it was now time to blow off the dust and begin production once more. Sparks flew across the open chasms of machinery and metalworking as piece by piece the mechs were each forged and stitched together with near-molten metal. Several thousand workers kept their eyes on screens, hooks, cauldrons, and robotic arms as each piece of the machines were built from scratch. The later days of the year brought forth a near end product, with the final deadline obtainable thanks to the industrial improvements from long ago. 24. United Canadian Front Activity: Among all else, the 4,000 Canadian soldiers land on the shipyard circling the planet of Valentum-1. After securing the station, and eventually getting a very detailed map of the entire construct, the U.C.F. soldiers go to work in converting the station from shipyard, into a floating bunker.
