Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Tahar was born to a small family, within the desert. His family were a part of an obscure group of nomadic desert peoples, moving from oasis to oasis, keeping themselves fairly peaceful. However, at the ripe old age of 5, Tahar became exposed to violence. The local orc clan did not exactly appreciate the large group, numbering a hundred or so, leeching off of their already limited resources. The sudden raids prompted the previously rather independent and peaceful group to make rapid advancements in warfare.
Before long, the numbers of the group swelled, as a few other nomadic groups flocked to the suddenly war-like culture, creating a breeding ground of ideologies and cultures, before morphing into one unified culture. It became practice for the young men to enlist in the ranks of the frankly kamikaze horse warriors, wearing light armour, flowing robes and using curved swords. Naturally, like all other young men, Tahar joined at the wise age of 16, considering himself to be a man.
Now, although gifted in some areas, Tahar was absolutely, stunningly, blindly idiotic in others, earning very little respect from his comrade's for his boastful, arrogant personality, and his blind zealotry to his own interpretation of the religious beliefs of the tribe.
One fateful raid on some rather spiteful sods that decided to try and rival the now five hundred strong group, Tahar was separated from his group, his fellows (rather deliberately, on their part!) riding off as he was distracted with the rather attention consuming task of cutting down unarmed peasants. After a short while, the poor folks being attacked realised that many had turned back, leaving the flash raid behind, and gathered objects like stones and sharpened twigs, some even thinking to grab metal utensils. Seeing this, Tahar worked out he should most probably join his companions, and keep his hide free from bruises or unpleasant extra holes. Turning into the sandy abyss of the desert, he charged off, a hail of stones in his wake.
However, Tahar, in all his wisdom, had forgotten to actually take notice of where the rest of his group was, and thus, carried himself off into the desert, almost exactly in the opposite direction. After a while of riding aimlessly through the desert, frequently being chased off by orcs, Tahar found himself at the edge of the sandy realm he had known all his life. With a great surge of bravery, he suppressed his rising fear, and plunged ahead into the grasslands.
Before long, he found himself coming across a group of strange people. Some were far shorter than any he had before seen, and others taller, with odd ears. One looked like him, but with pale skin, blue eyes, and sandy hair. All looked at him with the same shock and surprise, before speaking in a language unknown to him, who had only heard the orc's brutish tongue and his own people's harsh language. As he tried communicating with them, they gradually grew more suspicious and angry, as he did as well. Shortly after this moment, he was charged by the group. As any sane man would, he turned his horse, and galloped off into the sunset.
He continued through the land, getting essentially the same reactions where ever he went. For a man of his pride, it was rather a blow, though he had no epiphany to make him a better man. He continued blundering around, trying to find his people, although having very little success, especially when he found himself regularly unable to ask for directions. As such, he began to pick up the language, his first words being "Who are you?" "Plough", and "**** off". He thought these races to be rather rude, and rather heretical in their ways. It was to his immense shock when he saw two women kissing in in public, and he was hastily removed from yet another town, to continue looking.
And so it was as he passed through the various lands, up until now, where he remains his dogged determination to ignorance, wandering about without sense or logic, frequently being driven out by people who righteously are rather miffed at him.
What are they like? (personality): - Arrogant, ignorant, cruel and stubborn.
