Less Bias and more so didn't feel the necessity to dig further into the situation. Titling this bias was a mistake, perhaps change it for the sake of not sparking something up that doesn't need to be. EDIT: Based on what was just posted above me, looks like he reasoned it out perfectly.

Minecraft name: imsocool120 Skype ID: volker.hound Timezone: PST (Washington) Have you had any bans or strikes? If yes give a link: Nah Why do you want to be both a builder and an actor for the ET? Because I have a certain talent for building and have been a builder/voxel artist for every single major map of the server excluding Aegis of course. I did many of the landscapes in Asulon’s Hanseti and several touch up work done in the Orcs lands. I also had a hand in the landscape for The North in Anthos as well as odds and ends bits all throughout the map. Then finally in Aethera I did mountains and forest work in what is now Aesterwald, built crystal caves some place in the map I have no idea where (Dwarven lands?) and did a few odd works for random places. I have been a city planner for each map migration and have subsequently built everything from houses to shops to nature pieces to castles and everything in between. Building is fun, rewarding and I enjoy doing it very much. I want to be a builder because I think I have a lot to offer for who ever may need it and I am very capable. I’d like to become an actor for a number of reasons. I played one character for a quite a while but that character went through transformations based on actual in game events that had occurred; As RP ought to be. I developed the storyline and interacted with many, shaping the course of history around me in both good and bad ways. I’ve played it all, and have been exposed to many circumstances that few can say they have. I have been a player on this server since Aegis, have been a part of many major events and have even orchestrated events of my own even before there was an event team at all. As such, I believe that as an actor I can offer quite a bit. I possess knowledge that stretches back a long time and can give depth to whatever role I am tasked with. Even if I am to play a character that would otherwise know nothing of what I personally know, I have been an RPer for quite a while and can assume many different roles and behave in whatever manner I need to in order to properly participate in a storyline or event. I want to help drive story, create RP environments that flesh out the world and be a tool that adds vibrancy to others experience. Furthermore, I hope to prove myself later on if given the opportunity to run my own events for the players of the server and utilize 3 years worth of potential ideas I have had. What are some of your most treasured builds? (screenshots if possible): I’ll link some screens in the question below. I have made quite a few things, all of which have been on the server. I was most proud of the terraforming work I did in Asulon, mighty snowy mountains with ice spires jutting out of the frozen earth. Do you hold any other staff positions? No What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a Event member? Volker Hound. Yes. Pick three of the following building styles, and show us a build, of yours, that corresponds to each choice.(terraforming, organic, medieval, high fantasy, underground) Medieval/Terraform: Castle formed into the mountain cliffs, I also did the mountains. Underground: This was an underground forge built into a hillside, designed to be used as a public place of crafting for the truly gifted of smiths. Here is an underground interior for a massive prison complex located on a remote island. Shown below is the central area and walkway that connects the high security and low security levels of the facility. High Fantasy: A massive Spire built off of a coast, a place of in depth and highly fantastical research and development took place inside. An event piece used in an actual storyline on the server quite a while ago. This event eventually played into the Spire event piece shown above. This was an excavation event where players dug in a specific zone and eventually stumbled upon an underground ruined portion of a city, this was among the most significant things discovered along with some old tomes that directed the story line further. Are you an independent builder, and are you capable of handling all aspects of a build? I have worked with teams and admittdly I work better alone. However, if the build project isn’t under my control then I am fully capable of getting the job done with others contributing as well. Create two distinct RP scenarios/events that are based on the lore of LOTC, and that you would organize. 1) For a group of 5-10 2) For a group of 20+ 5-10 Maner The sun sets across the land. Shops and homes close up for the night as Petrus prepares to rest until the next coming of the sun. Guards line the walls, ever vigilant of possible activity by the Undead or the various enemies of the state. A steady line of city folk file across the bridge as they make their way home, each of them greeted as they enter. Just then a man clad in leather comes sprinting past the rabble, his face sweating with exertion and fear. He runs straight for one of the guards, taking a moment to catch his breath. The scene attracts a few more guardsmen over to where he is panting. He simply points to the forest to the South, slowly turning his head wide eyed to face the direction of his finger. A faint rumble can be heard in the distance, a small billow of smoke peaks up from the tree line. The strangers says one word to the guards . . . “Cultists.” The Guards usher the rest the people inside the city and mount up a small 6 man force. They are lead by the man in the direction of the smoke and the sounds of a steady drum beat. As the men draw nearer, the sounds of the drum grow stronger. The smell of rot fills the air as the sky darkens. Flames dance among the space between the many trees in the forest, emitting from some place not too far from the men. The man in leather had disappeared without any of them noticing, too far to turn back, they must confront the issue at hand. Something erupts in a deep and multi-toned laughter and the drum beat abruptly stops. The men come out into a clearing in the forest to see a bonfire blazing in the center of a circle. Dark figures in black cloaks line the edge, surrounded by dismembered limbs and piles of flesh strung up around them. Above the flames a face of fire and a disturbing sneer glares at the new participants in the ritual at hand. The men stand horrified for a moment before gathering their wits about them. The face continues to laugh louder and louder then explodes, tossing balls of fire at the cloaked figures around it. They immolate in the flames, screaming in agony but remain motionless save their convulsing heads. The guardsmen ready their weapons to dispatch the darkness that is unfolding before them, causing the burning figures to immediately charge them. The Guards hold their ground as flaming cultists charge madly into their ranks. One of them fails to prevent himself from being grabbed and pulled away from his comrades. Several of the figures tear at his armor as he dragged along the ground, the flames spreading from the burning men and onto his cloths. He is consumed in flame and rotted flesh as several more figures rush past him and at the remaining soldiers. Another falls to the cloaked men before the fighting ends, ashe clouds the air, piles of charred corpses litter the dead grass in the clearing. The fire in the middle burns low and a deep purple. One of the guards approaches it, moving to kick dirt into the embers in order to snuff it out. Just before he kick his foot, the deep voice spits out . . . “You’ll all feel my flames in time.” 20+ Maner For this one I won’t write up a story but instead describe an event. Something as simple as a competition. Make use of the resources we have already on the server and provide a gathering for people to compete for prizes, status and fame. I would initially play a wealthy farfolk type who enjoys the sport of champion combat who has come to the mainlands in search of the best warrior the nations have to offer. Submissions would be collected from all the major nations then an open application would be presented to the public. The people would gather at the large arena and root for their champion to win. The final battle will be a battle royale between the ultimate victor (whoever won all his matches), the crowd favorite, the event hosts favorite and the worst competitor (a potential underdog.) The winner would be given a title and a prize while his home nation or organization- if any- would become the next hosts of the championships. This could be a repeating event that cycles ownership much like the olympic games. How long does it take for you to complete a build? Depends on the build really, during the build maps the projects I had been working on met the deadlines set by the staff every time. Tell us how you plan on constructing a large build, a medium build, and a small build. Pop on some music or a podcast and go to town. For a small build I should be done pretty quickly, probably won’t take a break until it is done then inform who ever is running the event that it is all complete. Medium builds would be spaced out across a day or two, maybe if its a weekend I’ll power through the bulk of the build then spend the next few days after that doing touch up work until the deadline hits. For a large build, I’d spend some extra time in the planning process of the project so that once I get started I know exactly what I am going to do next. I’d start out rough and get the bulk over with first then go back and refine it down. This could be adding in details that make the place look old and ruined or to liven the place up. I’d be sure to utilize as much of the allotted time as necessary and use the extra time to continuously add to the project assuming the event leader doesn’t need to push forward. Additional details (Do you know how to Voxel? World Edit? Craftbook? Etc...): I have been using voxel for every single major map of the server as well as world edit. I would be eager to learn more about what can be done with worldedit and craftbook, more so craftbook as it surprises me still what people can do with it. How long do you plan to stay in the ET? As long as I am useful. Tell me a trick about building (eg: floating torches, custom heads) I can build good, I make up for the lack of tricks with just plain ol creativity. I utilize technique far than mechanical tricks but am totally open to learning new things that I can use in my work. Tell me what you want from the ET. The opportunity to serve and work really close with the players on the server. The ET are essentially the first line of contact when it comes to staff and players in terms of how RP is on the server. I want to help make things better or a little more enjoyable for people to interact with. Also want to work with the Human player base and make sure they have some Humancentric RP progression, do stuff with the lore they provide and add depth to the race. If that means being a traveler or an event piece that furthers a storyline, I’d be happy for the chance.

Have the Undead get progressively weaker with each defeat at the hands of the players. Still give us the challenge and allow us to earn proper victory. Just don't make this all mean nothing. If we lose a battle, The Undead get a little stronger; If the Undead lose they get weaker. Tug of war.
-
Let us defeat the Undead. That does not mean make it easy but actually have a destruction point instead of them being a staff property that cannot be phased out unless they say so. They should be able to completely lose assuming we as players are good enough to defeat them in all their strongholds. RP it like the Undead are just like all the other nations, that way it's fair and we get a conclusion to the story that isn't a waste of time.

Whether you think yourself a potential great warrior who would best be placed on the front lines or a patient and just protector of the common people, The Hounds has need for it all and everything in between. Refer below for further information regarding the organization. Home Station: Petrus Liege Lord: Archon Godfrey III Horen Captains: Volker Hound and Red Historical Origins: Originally established as a frontline force for the barbarian forces of Aeldin, the Imperial Hounds were tasked with the utter annihilation of a greater force. Most fights a blood stricken stalemate, those of the Hounds were forced to adapt their equipment, strategies and unit compositions with minimal training between skirmishes. Seeing a typical casualty rate of roughly 60% per battle, the ranks were continually filled with eager but ignorant young men, the majority never seeing the end of their war. For more than a decade the Imperial Hounds were the battering ram of the 14 year War, a maul used to tear down every impregnable fortress or unassailable citadel that dared to stand in the path of the Emperor. Its liege lord was likewise known as a ruthless and effective warlord; a master strategist whose razor-edged mind could fathom the hidden weakness in any foe and exploit it with savage and decisive action -- a general to whom defeat was anathema and victory worth any price paid in blood to gain it. The Imperial Hounds became a byword for punishing warfare and for mastery in siegecraft, both in defence and assault. The Imperial Hounds were arguably the most remorseless and among the most feared of the Imperial regiments. This was not simply because of their power in battle or force of arms, but also because there seemed to be no loss they would not accept to ensure eventual victory and no hell they would not endure to reach their foe. Although specialising in entrenched and attritional warfare, the regiment also had a number of formations and tactics that enabled it to operate in concentrated and crushing force in an attack. The Imperial Hounds came to believe that victory came through sheer relentlessness. Their weapons, while not ornate, functioned without flaw. They did not manoeuvre in fanciful patterns to confuse the enemy, instead they stood their ground and waited for the enemy assaults to falter before striking back with fatal force. Any environment or situation their liege lord and his commanders could not compensate for, the Imperial Hounds would overcome through sheer stubborn resilience and painful endurance. The 14 year war coming to it’s bloody conclusion, the remnants of the Hounds were a scar ridden mess, most of the men suffering various mental ailments and physical handicaps. Despite this, the name was carried forth as reminder, an honor to those wounded and fallen. 3 Decades passing since their hasty creation, the Hounds now face regular training with various forms of weaponry, are expected to specialize in the usage of various siege tools and are expected to make up the backbone of any frontline offensive. As their liege lord left the lands of Aeldin, a small portion of the unit followed, hoping to make their mark in Athera. Rank Structure: Captain These men stand second to their Liege Lord. They create and maintain the standards The Hounds are expected to upkeep. The Highest attainable rank within the militant order, these men establish strategy and maintain the activity of their order. Lieutenant These men act as the right hand to their respective Captain, upholding established policy and ensuring their will is properly implemented among the ranks. Their charge is the Pack assigned to their Captain, ensuring that the duty required of those in their Pack is being upheld. Sergeant These men look over a group of Linemen and typically fulfill a specific role for the entire Order. They are expected to keep those beneath them within a set standard and are personally responsible for training their men. They are the first link in the leadership chain that all Lineman are expected to utilize first before confronting an officer. Senior Lineman These men have either served with The Hounds for a considerable amount of time or have shown to be exceptional members. They are the example to all Lineman and Runts, role models to their fellow comrades. They possess extra responsibility than any normal Lineman and aid their Sergeant in maintaining the lower ranks. Lineman The bulk of The Hounds fighting force, these men are trained often and are given generic roles to fulfill within the organization. Doubling as resource producers and product refiners depending on their skill sets. They are expected to act within the defined standards set by their superiors and must strive to represent their comrades in the best manner possible. Runt Often times called initiates, these men are not yet a full member of the Hounds and must earn the right. Their main responsibility is to learn everything they can during their tenure as a Runt; Honing their combat skills, domestic skills, customs and courtesies. The only thing that is expected of a Runt is that they be better than when they first enlisted by the time they make Lineman. Recruitment Application: The following information must be supplied in order to be considered for joining The Hounds MC Name: Nexus Skills: Time Zone: RP Name: Gender: Race: Physical Description: Extra Information: Attach your application to a copy of this flier and send it to the specified address ((Post your application here or on the other Hounds thread in the guild section.)) Contact any member of The Hounds for more information or contact an officer directly through bird or carrier ((In Game messages or forum messages.))

*Captain Volker sits among the council members of Petrus and leaders in the Mardonic League. He takes a final reading of the proposed appeals from Akovia before speaking . . . "Perhaps this might work on the foolish and the short sighted. Perhaps presenting yourself in this manner will benefit you by striping your opposition of some soldiers. The simple gesture of being the first to offer peace is quite a powerful one indeed, giving yourself some sort of legitimacy in this as being the one to end it mercifully. Get real. If any were to accept these 'appeals' they would truly be beyond the measure of stupid. These empty words will hardly sway any loyal or intelligent members of the Mardonic League or otherwise. This is a ruse disguised as a call for peace that he has no actual intention of fulfilling for very long, just enough time to suit his desires. He shirks responsibility for even a claimed small minority that engrienvenced the Dwarves and said he would punish them if he had been told. And yet they still run free and yet they still commit banditry with even better gear than before. He certainly knows about the situation now as he made direct reference to it in his appeal but alas nothing; Empty words. And to the Orks, he denies the holding of a precious relic and has made no visible efforts to return it, only more removal of responsibility of his own shoulders. Making note that perhaps the Orcs even owe Akovia for helping them slay Kha beasts. Yet more empty words to de-escalate justified conflict. The final appeals are literal nonsense with no other intent but to inspire anger. It is more than likely that Akovia and its leadership wouldn't give two shites about the faith if they had not one of their own running it; Sainting their own people, funneling countless minas in their pockets and supporting their interests. The boldness to even imply he has value or right to rule over a Horen. And finally perhaps the least empty of all words in this appeal, one can almost feel the Akovian Kings emotion as he slanders righteous cause and noble blood. At least there's that." *Volker rolls his eyes before tossing the document to the center of the table, taking a seat.

The Truth Of The So-Called High Pontiff - "daniel I"
Volker replied to Pius's topic in Athera Roleplay Archive
"The son of a heretic appears salty in this recent upcoming of factual information as he would rather spend his time responding to such as opposed to arranging his own execution. Not only a scheming Crow or a destroyer of legitimate faith but too a vain one at that." Says Captain Volker. -

"So hungry for power that the Crow would lay with men to achieve it. Heresy." Says Captain Volker. -
*Captain Volker chuckles at all these spicy curry memes.

*Captain Volker finds the response authored by none other than the great High Stagnant himself. "The Raevir would hardly be an issue among the civilized nations of Humanity if it were not for their Carrion leaders. The same line of Crows that have brought about the systematic destruction of righteousness and strength of the Imperial Man by replacing it with poorly cobbled shanties, extreme social degradation of speech, seemingly endless silence of what little legitimate faith left and infectious whispering spreading discord among any and all nations. The Carrion were not of divine choosing to lead, a blasphemy in on it's own in the scriptures of the legitimate faith. So instead of accepting their position with grace and a shred of loyalty they went about and corrupted the entire race in the absences of the true Empire. They failed to serve their oath to the Horen line and only sought all the meagre power left behind by his grace, Emperor Horen. A cancer produced from the pollution of industry from the forges of Hanseti, generations of inbreeding and self inflicted intellectual suppression; Grew to become a bully among its peers, a brute with a club that battered Humanity around until the entire world grew tired of it and subsequently silenced it. The Raevir could have been something truly noble if it were not for the Carrion leaders. Robbing them of prosperity under the just rule of the first Empire. Preventing them from heeding the shepherds calls to a new land- a new world- and keeping them tied to a post for which they can serve the Crows selfish will. They wrote their own histories, named their own victors, sainted their own family members, blended it all up and force fed it to the scraps of Humanity; Raising an entire generation on near blatant lies but still keeping them dull enough to never be able to threaten the Crows hold. And so we see those who we call Carrion speaking oh so eloquently, cupping their hands over the Raevirs mouth as to not allow their own creations to embarrass themselves while they plead to the world that it is all of us that are the bad ones, the rats and the thieves, the brutes and the murderers. Perhaps it has come to the point that even the Carrion elite are beginning to succumb to their own social engineering and eugenics. If they believe they can talk themselves out of this situation they have truly lost their right to even call themselves members of Humanity. Or perhaps they have become frustrated as their decades old pile of rubbish that would pass to the average Raevir is barely swaying even the simplest of Mardonic citizens. Your scriptures piggy back on the great age of the first Imperium, of men who had not the faintest bit of Carrion blood in their veins. You take the truth, delete the names and supplement your own as to provide pseudo legitimacy in this world among leaders. You have retold what happened during the first steps of the Imperium in a manner of your own bias for so long that even you believe it as fact. As I sit here and reflect on all that the Carrion have done I am filled with anger. As I sit here and compare your history, your scripture and your literature with that of the originals, the holy books and the history books brought over to the new world along the great Exodus that your ancestors failed to join, I am left utterly speechless. The Crow is without a doubt a stain on the Horen legacy, a filth that festors when no one is watching; Spreading to every corner of the world and rooting itself in anything it can. You are a coward oh High Stagnant of the Carrion curse. You would shield yourself with the Raevir instead of accept that you are inadequate and unfit to serve as the Creators highest voice. You would allow countless lives lost so that you can continue to sit atop your own throne in the Lords home, funneling your flocks' hard earned wages into your own pocket so you can expand upon your stoney summer home. You would stay silent of the atrocities inflicted upon pius and brave men in the North as they fight to keep the world safe from a full on and never ending Undead invasion; Speaking only to save your own skin after being called out. You are sick. You are twisted. And you will pay dearly for these crimes, not only here on Earth but also in the face of the Creator himself. May you burn High Stagnant and your soul delivered due justice for your heresy. May you meet your ancestors in hellfire and brimstone so that the rest of our race may live in peace. Love live Godfrey, long live Horen, and long live Humanity."
-
"More leaflets to feed a greedy fire already burning in the hearts of all Raevirs, as if these words would make the Mardonic League up and drop Aesterwald as an ally. Perhaps if they stayed in their own lands, robbed their own people and stopped trying to be the biggest troglodyte on the pile, men of other Nations would not pay them any mind and they could truly be left alone to live in what ever primitive manner they so wish. Ah, but that is too simple, even for a Crow. First they take Hanseti, then they take a shattered Empire instead of remaining loyal and departing with the true Emperor of Humanity, then they enact discrimination against any and all who are not of their own peasant blood eventually losing it as every nation in the world opposed their rule. The Crow waits, strikes again and steals another Empire from those chosen not only by The Creator but by the noble blood of Horen, again. They lose it yet again and set up their own lands for their own people, lands that no other Human nation North of them would pay any mind to if it were not for the droves of starving, ill mannered and uneducated Raevirs pouring into their nations. They rob, they cheat, they steal and do it all while shouting 'Raevir lives matter!' and worshiping carrots. Go home and stay home Raevirs and maybe you will find a world that likes you more when your Carrion overlords aren't forcing themselves in every nook and cranny of our governments. You degraded our status in the world among the races, regressed our progress away from an Imperium, stagnated our religion, burnt our history and allow the Undead to slaughter us from the front while you pickpocket us from the back." Says Captain Volker
-
*Captain Volker observe a new fervor of energy from the brief Raevir visitors that come to Petrus if only for a moment to insult the new lord and his Hounds.
-
*Captain Volker sifts through the ever growing reports of Akovian and Undead cooperation. Raevir and Heretic walking side by side as they kill, steal and rob those who fight against the Undead on a daily basis. A Hound runt comes in with yet another report detailing how yet another dead Raevir with an Akovian military manual had been found fighting in defense of an Undead sorcerer. He shakes his head. With said report, a copy of the latest declaration from the South- conviently far from the actual war against darkness . . . *Volker reads the 2nd article . . . "More money to be sent to the mother church, more like the lethargic High Pontiffs pocket. I wonder what they had to tell the Savoie in order for them to actually agree to something as silly as that." *He reads the 4th article . . . "Ah, and they even force ownership of their troops too, rest in peace Savoie. You have succumb to the ruse of the Crow."
-
*A faint but gruff voice can be heard on the wind as it blows through the land . . . "Raenor please!" *Volker hears the news and is made aware of the names; Some of which he has already met. "Filthy Heretics, they shall all be purged."

-=Tax Edict of 1488=- Posters and pamphlets are neatly placed around all over Petrus and surrounding territories The city of Petrus has been and shall remain tax free for all citizens holding property in the city. The holiday sale has been extended to all new purchases and those who are still paying off their investments, you may inquire about a discount added for work and improvements done. If you still have held over debt tickets from the dreaded days under the tyrant reign of the Crow, burn them. Have no fear in losing your homes to greedy lords, Petrus cares.
