  1. The Empire of Japan Keep the general goal in sigh whilst tackling daily tasks. The Great Asian Co-prosperity sphere is proclaimed in the Imperial palace of Tokyo by prince-regent Hirohito. THe nations of Thailand, Indonesia, Socialist China, Manchuria and Japan have banded together to form a united front. The goal of this alliance is to protect it’s members from European interference as well as furthering the growth of Asia as an important power of it’s own. This would be the beginning of the age when Asia became independent. No longer dependent on the wills of the Western powers. Or that was what the newspapers said. Mao Zedong remarked as he sat in a cafe in Tokyo. Sipping some of the Japanese tea and taking a moment to relax. Just a few days before he had been in a tense discussion with the other major Asian nations. Representing the opinion of Socialist China. Mao himself was quite daunted by his role. Seeing as he, whilst talented, was not yet a highly prominent party member. However during his military service in Indochina he had proven himself as a good commander and thus gained quite a bit of influence. Which probaply was the reason why he was assigned as the delegation of the Republic. Mao himself was quite satisfied with the conclusion. He himself, whilst mostly inclined towards socialism was appreciative of Tanoism. Seeing the neccesity of a strong Asian alliance needed to keep the European powers out of Asia. Or at least make sure they do not grow stronger in Asia. As he sat in the cafe he soon saw someone approach him. It was a man of Japanese origin in quite an expensive suit. The man soon invited himself to sit next to him and spoke abruptly. “My name is Matsumo Azumamura. And I need you for a special duty in order to do your duty to the Asian people.” Actions The Japanese economic plan continues. With the economy continuing to slowly keep it’s trade to it’s close allies. [MOD] Even more work is put into the airforce this year. With active research beginning in developing a naval bomber. One that can be used to theoratically carry a torpedo a short distance. [MOD] The naval production continues. With an investigation also being started to see how much more ships can be added to the produciton quee in the coming 1,5 years. [MOD] The Tri-nation railway project continuing. With estimations saying that at the end of the year it would be a full-fledged railways. Truly connecting all of China and Korea together.. [MOD] Furthermore some more investments are put into the medical branch of the military. With it for now being used to help treat the Dutch Flu but also to more effectively treat wounded soldiers. WIth it research also begins in better first-aid supplies and surgery. Allowing more soldiers to recover if wounded. [MOD] Finally more government investments are put into industry. Especially the automobile industry as well as the steel industry. This is in order to allow the growth of cities to continue as well as making more materials for construction and in tools. [MOD]
  2. The Empire of Japan If small holes aren’t fixed, then big holes wil bring hardship. Chaos reigned througout the world. It had been said in the early days of the first world war that it would be the war to end all wars. But they had been wrong. It was only the trigger for much more war. Civil war, European wars, wars for Independence. In this day and age they were plenty. To it’s North Japan had to worry about the Soviets. Whilst unlikely to attack they had large numbers of troops and support of the Internationale. To it’s West was China. A friendly state in these times but if relations were to sour a great and powerful enemy. To it’s South were Germany’s possesions in Asia with it’s Far-Eastern fleet. And at the same time plague swept accros the world. With it global trade and the economy suffered. Thus seeing the possibility of world trade stopping and the economy collapsing the Japanese government puts a plan in place to slowly isolate itself from the world economy. Begging to limit it’s trade powers and making sure the economy could grow more stable and would not be threatened by economic collapse. Thus over the course of the coming two years the Japanese economy was set to isolate itself. Relying on it’s domestic products and those of it’s allies. This would cause it’s allies to grow richer but the Japanese economy to shrink a bit. However, the Japanese Diet has determined that the risk posed by an economic collapse is worse than temporarily losing some income. Furthermore, the navy of the empire expands. In order to prepare for the possibility of confrontation with the German navy in Asia and in order to properly patrol Far-East Asian waters. --------- This amongst other things was on the mind of prince-regent Hirohito. The person who could be considered the most powerful person in all of Asia. Or at least the head of the most powerful nation in Asia. That is if you discounted Russia, which had significant Asian possesions. In any case. The Prince-Regent sat in his parlor reading reports. Mostly regarding to the naval production of the nation as well as the tri-nation railline. Honestly, if he had known how much bureucracy would be needed to make a railine that connected three nations together he might have consisdered not makin it. Amongst other issues were, the laws in each country, the different types of rails and trains used by the three different countries as well as aquiring the land to build the railroad on. However, it was starting to show progress. It was in it’s final stages and the basic raillines had already been laid. Now all that was left to be done was putting the finishing touching on the project. Mass-producing a certain type of train and finishing the rail. Hirohito took a single moment to lay back in his chair and look around the room. His job as prince-regent was tiring. He was essentially the ruler of Japan and had to do adminstration, ceremony attend and be informed about important debates and political gathering. As well as entertaining foreign delegations. All in all it was a hard job. Even though he was thoroughly prepared for it, it still put stress on him. Then he took a moment to look accros his room looking at all the different folders. The folders, some of them were the most classified documents in the empire. Even a normal citizen having possesion of them could mean immediate execution or banishment to a small island where they would be island. But they were so important, they detailed different plans, eventualties and ways to respond to crisises. As he thought of them he could not help but look to a certain folder. One with a big red [REDACTED] on it and which prepared for a horrible eventuality. He hoped he would never have to use it but depending on the circumstances he might have to. However, for now there was luckily no war which neccesitated it’s execution. Then someone knocked on the door. Responding to this Hirohito straightened his back and said. “Come in” Then a man walked in. [RP to be continued later ?] Actions In order to make sure that the Japanese economy is safe in case of an economic collapse due to famine and disease the Japanese government opts to enact an economic model that is more isolationist in nature. Limiting trade to it’s direct allies in Asia and some others (Manchuria, Socialist China, Indonesia, Brazil. The hope is that if the market collapses under the strain of the plague Japan will be less effected. Furthermore there is a chance that this might result in less infections by the Dutch Flu. [MOD] Observers are sent to the United Kingdoms and Greece in order to, well... observe the war there. Making notes of the tactics used there and applying it to the Japanese army. [MOD] With the observations made during the Great War as well as the European war the empire sees the need for a dedicated air force. Thus the prince-regent decrees the formation of the Imperial Airforce. This basic airforce is to base their efforts on British and Russian planes in design. Whilst they also begin to research if these planes can be converted into naval bomers. Dedicated to taking down enemy ships. [MOD] Work is put into finishing the Tri-Nation railline. Ensuring that it can connect all three nations together and allow for more economic growth and the capacity to tranpsort more materials. [MOD] In order to swiften the war for China and to ultimately cause less casualties Japanese military experts are sent to Indochina. They are to help instruct the Chinese soldiers and give tactical and strategic lessons to Chinese officers. [MOD] Furthermore, with Britain unofficially ceding the duty of patrolling far-east Asia to Japan the empire proceeds to expand it’s navy. In Britain it commisions one dreadnought and one battlecruiser to be built in the Clyde Shipyards in Britain for one year.. Back in Asia a two year plan to expand the navy begins. This plan includes the building of (4 battlecruisers, 7 armored cruisers, 13 light cruisers and 20 destroyers) possibly more depending on the ship production capabilities of the empire. [MOD]
  3. Yngbald, lord of magic and progress Areon Brightsteel, a powerful young mage of the nation of Adamant walked back in his home village. The village bordered the great tree and was settled under it’s leaves. Amongst other forest Nyren he was considered a hero. A valiant mage who had fought the Venandi and defeated one of their prime mages in a duel. Preventing the kingdom from going beyond the great river. However, he himself saw himself as a butcher. Areon himself whilst aware of the neccesity of war did not enjoy it. He preferred the aquisition of knowledge and had simply been on a journey to the first city. To bask in it’s glory and to study it in order to ascertain a deeper understanding of life and magic. He had simply been forced to go into battle as he was attacked by Venandi. In any case, he was now considered a hero and once his study of the city had been finished he gladly returned home. Eager to continue studying the tree of Yngbald and gain a greater understanding of magic. That had been a month ago and now he was getting bored. Whilst studying the runic script was interesting he just felt bored. The pursuit of knowledge whilst interesting in and of itself was useless without anything to use it for. He had no goal, no ambition he wanted to achieve but to gather knowledge and keep things stable. Then, as he stood in the center of the village square he was suddenly somwhere else. He was surrounded by what he could only call magic. Around him were numerous colours and lights. Some darker, some lighter. Some aquatic, some malicious. Even just looking at the magic was pushing the mind of Aeron to it’s limit. But quickly Aeron’s attention drifted to a figure. A lone figure in a dark cloaked with an oaken staff in his hand. And where his right eye should be there was only a dark hole. The figure smiled an old and wise smile at Areon before speaking. ”Young Nyren. You have seen much in your short live but have much yet to see. ” ”You have proven yourself worthy and will be rewarded with both great power and duty. Your duties wil be thrice. You will protect this forest from outside incursion, you will spread and preserve knowledge and you shall maintain order in this forest.” ”In order to achieve this thrice you shall be granted a gift. You shall gain an increased affinity with magic, you shall live much longer than your normal mortal lifespan and will more easily attain knowledge as well as remembering it. Furthermore, once your duty has ended your memories will be left to your succesor. So that he can be succesfull in his or her task. ” ”And you shall find a succesor. Because I decree it to be so. Now return to the world of mortals Aeron the Librarian. Preserver of Knowledge, protector of the great forest and the force that maintains order in it. Go and fulfill your duties.” Then in a flash of bright light Areon was back in the centre of the village. Then looming before him stood the famed Ahriman, towering before him. Last seen centuries ago but looking exactly like the stories said. Then it spoke again. “Behold mortals. Because before you stand now the Librarian of this forest. He has been blessed by Yngbald and now I will bless all of you. For Yngbald wishes not this people perish in primitive melee warfare. To do that he gifts you this knowledge. ” A creature then appeared before the Nyren. Asssembled before their eyes with stone, vines a magic. A creature twice as tall as a normal Nyren and made entirely of stone. Then it took a step forward and the Nyren gasped. The thing moved. Then Ahriman spoke once more. “By the grace of Yngbald I will teach you how to make golems. Consider it a reward for achieving nationhood.” Ahriman then taught the Nyren how to make golems. Who the present Librarian will then teach. Then once the present Librarian dies his or her apprentice will gain the position and power of being a Librarian. And with the position come the knowledge of all Librarians before them. Making sure that each Librarian is more knowledgeable than the one before them. And in the event no Librarian or apprentice is alive one will arise when it meets certain circumstances which are. 1. An affinity and skill with magic 2. 4. Yngbald, lord of magic and progress All was normal for the Nyren tribe around the tree of Yngbald. Or that was what it seemed like until what seemed like blue lightning struck just outside a tree. But it was not blue lightning, it was an avatar of the god Yngbald. Before them stood Ahzek Ahriman, Avatar of Yngbald. He had appeared in the centre of the village and by now Nyren were starting to appear. Then he spoke. A loud and somewhat arrogant voice booming out for all Nyren around the great tree to hear. “HEED MY WORDS MORTAL FOR I AM AHZEK AHRIMAN, THE REPRESENTATIVE OF YNGBALD.“His voice then boomed a little less loudly after that. But it was still quite loud to the Nyren assembled before him. ”The arcane god has seen it fit to bless your tribe with knowledge. For in his wisdom Yngbald knows that of the knowledge a wise mage learns during his or her life they can teach little of it. For they themselves are dedicated to the art of discovering with magic. However, when a mage then dies much of his knowledge is lost. Creating a grave loss for your tribe.” Then there was a lengthy. pause before Ahriman spoke again. “Thus Yngbald has seen it fit to teach you about written language. And the art of books. For what mortal memory cannot contain materials can. Thus I will teach you how to story your knowledge for all future generations to remember. Even if plague ravages this tribe, it’s knowledge will remain for your descendants.” Ahriman than proceeded to teach the Nyren of books, script and written language. Then before leaving he says one last thing. ”Before I leave must tell you one thing. Beware the servants of Wol’Kot. Do not let them steal your artifacts anymore or this tribe will wither and fall.” Ahriman then dissapereaed with a flash of blue lightning. Dissapearing just as he had appeared. 5. The Kingdom of Rihad Haserick sat in his throne room. Pondering on what he should do. He did not want to be involved in this war with Orisium. He would have preferred to attack Skaven now that it was vulnerable. However, he could not do so as long as his ally in Sentinel was being besieged and being threateneed with destruction. As such Haserick pondered. It was a normal day in the great hall of Sentinel when Haserick came to a decision. He then called for a meeting with his military commanders and prominent nobles. Once this meeting was assembled he spoke to the assembled lords, ladies and commanders. “Men of Rihad. As of this moment our ally of Sentinel is being besieged by a force of humans who have sided over the orcs rather than fight with their own kind. And I am disgusted by them. They besiege honest folk because they are allied with the orisimer of all people. We can not stand for any ally of ours to be harrased by such a foe. As such an army will be led North. ” He then turned to Braika, his foremost military commander. “Braika. Though I know you are skilled in combat you will need to stay here.” Braika sputtered in outrage as this and as she was about to reply to Haserick’s statement he raised his hand for silence. “That is because I will lead the army North myself. You will need to stay here to respond to any threats. Delaying them with your numerically inferior forces and maintaining order in the kingdom. I can only trust my most skilled military commander with this task. Whilst I myself wish to see the enemy’s of Sentinel vanquished by my hand. ” Braika grudginly nodded at this though she still felt a little resentment. Just as Haserick had expected. Haserick then looked at a map of the local area around Sentinel and spoke. “As of right now the capital of Sentinel is being besieged by the orismer’s allies. We will need to make sure the city does not fall. In order to do this we will start with harrasing the enemy forces. Whilst we might outnumber them we do not know the composition of their troops and as such I want to weaken them as much as possible before fighting a conventional battle. Furthermore I wish to do something of an... experiment so to speak.” Haserick then began explaining his battle plan to the assembled commanders. Who would in part execute it. Something with a bit more kick and something that can give more enthusiasm to the troops. (snare drum) [MOD] (7k Septims) Economy Diplomacy/Military: The 1st army of Rihad is sent North towards Sentinel. Here they are to move North until they reach the capital city of Sentinel. From there on they will head North towards the city of Sentinel. At first staying a distance of about 10miles from the city and setting up a fortified encampment. Once the encampment is set up and well foritifed and if it is not attacked small units of light cavalry will be sent out. They will, with the help of the local populace as guides amongst the terrain, ambush supply convoys of the besieging armies. Making use of quick strikes and retreats. This will inevitebly force the hostile armies to divert more troops to protect their caravans and to grow weary. Lessening the amount of effective troops. Then another part of the plan begins. When it is night quick attacks of the besieging forces will happen accompanied by the sound of a horn. These attacks consist of quick strikes by heavy cavalry. Lead by Haserick himself in order to ensure it’s effectiveness. This horn will sound each night, however, only one in five times that the horn blows is there an attack. With the timing of course being random. This will ensure that the hostile soldiers are conditioned to fear the sound of the horn and wake up when it is heard. This will increase exhaustion from the soldiers as they are unaware if the horn is actually the sound of an attack. This psychological warfare is partly an experiment by Haserick to see how effective it can be in warfare. [MOD/Skype]
  6. The Kingdom of Rihad Haserick looks at the war map lain down before him. Showing the entirity of Tamriel. Mainly focusing on it’s northern territories. As he saw it he frowned. His eyes could not help but drift towards Skaven. The arch-duchy of Skaven, it disgusted Haserick. A state that could conquer the land of Hammerfell without any issue but an attack on it would cause thousands of Imperials to stream over the border. Haserick would not complain about it being unfair, there was no use, but it was. Still, he needed to deal with this. But for now he needed to wait. Eventually an oppertunity would hopefully arise. And so Haserick stood, looking at the map and planning. ((Sorry, little rp this time)) Army: Cavalry: 2000 mounted palace guards, 2000 light cavalry Infantry: 5000 palace guards, 5000 skirmishers Misc.: 3000 archers, 100 mages Income: Base: 10k septims Provinces: 6k septims Investments: 1k septims Trade: 3k septims Total: 20k septims Treasury: 0k septims Actions: Military: Recruitment: 1000 mounted palace guard (5000 septims) 3000 palace guard (7500 septims) 50 mages (2000 septims) 1000 archers (500 septims) Total: 15k septims Economy 6k septims are put into expanding the carriages used for trading. 7. The Empire of Japan A bad beginning makes a bad ending On a newspaper in a cafe in Tianjin stood in bold letters “VICTORY IN INDONESIA” proclaiming the victory of Japanese and Indonesian forces. As well as the formation of the unified Republic of Indonesia under a democratic government. This article was read by Lieutenant General Weong Yong Yang as he took his sip of tea. He had been called here to Tianjin by an associate of his in order to discuss certain issues. But until his companion arrived Weong simply enjoyed the view. It seemed like just a short time ago that Weong was in Tianjin. At the end of the Chinese war. Back then the city had almost been entirely obliterated. Due to combined naval bomabardment as well as a massacare by the marines. Back then the city had been a smoking ruin but now it had almost entirely been rebuilt. Around him he could see new buildings to replace the destroyed ones or he saw buildings that had been renovated. Especially the dock had changed, almost entirely rebuilt as well as upgraded by new management. As he looked around he saw that the city was flourishing under new rule. Right now Tianjing was one of the main ports recieving goods from the Japanese mainland. Mostly recieving bulk goods which would not be cost effective if transported by train. Around him the Lieutenant General saw a combined populace of Chinese, Koreans and Japanese. Though that distinction was slowly becoming less apparent. Each of them worked hard at their job. Wheter that would be loading or unloading freighters or selling goods at shops accros the city. Weong had been to one of those shops just an hour ago. One of them had some really nice food. Bees dripped in honey and fried on a stick. Weong’s mouth watered as he remembered eating it. Now that had been delicious, quite sweet and generally enjoyable. If Weong was to be honest Weong had a bit of a sweet tooth. He enjoyed sweet candy so the bees were right up his alley. And talking about alley’s there from an alley came his companion. As he came closer Weong could see the figure of the man approaching. That man was Matsumo Azumamura. Memeber of the Kempeitai and to an exent the messenger of the government to him. Though truthfully the two like to have philosophical debates and nice discussions with each other. They were quite entertaining and often a bright spot of Weong’s day. A few seconds later Matsumo arrived and sat accros from Weong who greeted him enthusiastically. “Hello Matsumo, how are you doing, have any good news to bring ?” As he asked this Matsumo grimaced a little and Weong felt his heart drop. If Matsumo grimaced it meant either something bad or really uncomfortable. Often resulting in his men either dead or just generally annoyed. The former was of course worse than the latter but the latter option was still not nice. It really was annoying to have to deal with men who were discontent. Matsumo then spoke. “I am afraid not. The Government wants your division to remain on standby and has been assigned as the first response in case of crisis.” Matsumo said this matter of factly and quickly to get this over with bug Weong groaned. Being given that duty was the fear of any division. It meant that for about 6 months your division had to be ready to move out in less than 4 hours and a single brigade in 30 minutes. This meant that it decreased the amount of time soldies could be on shore leave in order to remain able to quickly respond to any sudden threats. Furthermore, if a crisis/war occured it meant his division would take the brunt of the initial damage. It was generally just an annoying duty. So Weong asked with a resinged sigh partially/melodramatically looking into the air. “Why ?” To which Matsumo quickly responded. “The Government is planning a blockade of Vladivovstok. Since there is the possibility that the Soviets will respond violently to this one of the best division must remain on first response duty.” Weong groaned at this. Hearing the context he knew why he was given the duty but that did not mean he had to like it. Weong was about to ask why there was a blockade but Matsumo already responded. “The specific reason why is classified. But I can say that it will be highly beneficial to the empire.” Weong always got frustrated it but that was the nature of Matsumo’s job. By being part of the Kempeitai most of what Matsumo did was classified. Hell, even in the Kempeitai itself there were layers of classified. Being designated by the tone in which the word classified was spoken. Right now Matsumo spoke of minor classified. Meaning that it was not that important but also not beneficial if word got out. After letting out a sigh Weong then spoke. “So is there any other annoying fact you need to inform me off or shall we start by discussing the implications of this.” Weong said pointing to the news aritcle before him. An article of the Pyeonyang Courier. Weong’s favorite news outlet. Matsumo shook at this and then the two men had an intense discussion. Discussing the merits of Tanoism and the new government that ruled Indonesia. Actions The tri-nation railway project continues. With the Japanese government continuing to sponsor the project and helping to provide the labor forces in order to unite the Empire and especially China together in this project. Helping to let the economy grow and to allow fast travel througout all of China. Making the administration of territories easier and forging closer economic ties between the three nations. [MOD] -As the year continues so does the expansion of ship building capacities. During this period 7 more shipyards are commisioned. Two in mainland Japan, two in Korea and three in occupied China. These shipyard are similairly to the other models intentioned to help build new ships as well as play a part in developing naval technology. [MOD] In order to fulfill the deal with the Duma the ships that are not in need of repairs and those that are finished in repairs begin a blockade of Vladivostok. In order to cut supply of the Soviets short as well as stopping any escape from sea. [MOD] In order to gain more income and natural resources as well as helping to give the Indonesian government another source of income an investment is made into the Indonesian economy. To be specefic, an investment is made in the oil industry. Seeing that it has it’s uses and that it will help the reconstruction of the country with additional taxes the Japanese government invests in several oil refineries and oil fields. These are to primarily export oil to Japan so that the state can maintain it’s ships and other oil consuming products. [MOD] Seeing the succes in Indonesia the size of the marines are tripled to 30k. With it being divided into two divisions. These new marines are to be instructed by veteran marines and to train on the island of Taiwan. [MOD] Because of the admirable service of Koreans during the Indonesian and Chinese wars a vote is started in the Diet of Japan. This vote is to allow any Korean citizen to enlist in the Japanese armed force. On the same level and requirement as any Japanese men. Furthermore, a vote is made to stop nearly all restrictions on Koreans and make them equal citizens in the empire. Having the same voting rights as the Japanese as well as the same rights in general. 8. Yngbald, lord of magic and progress As he looked down at the Nyren Yngbald felt proud but also conflicted. What should he do during this age, he could grant great technologies to these peoples, he could modify them or he could grant them a gift. Yes a gift, that would do but what could he gift to the Nyren. Could he give them knowledge, a book ? No, the great tree itself was already a gift in that regard. Rather he needed to give these people something to protect themselves. Something to defend themselves from danger and to use the knowledge gathered from his tree to it’s maximum effectiveness. Something to create a greater gateway to magic and something to draw more magic from the void. But what kind of item could do that. Then Yngbald got a flash of an object. An object that could draw runes on the ground in order to do powerful rituals as well as allow an individual greater acces to magic and the ability to manipulate it further. The ability to manipulate the essence of a spell and allow for easier spell creation. Though the object also needed a drawback. Something to make the user cautious of using it. Then the drawback came to Yngbald that could be also used as a boon. Any being that got hit with the tip of the staff would get poisoned and their physical strength and speed would rapidly deterioate. However, if a person used the staff for a long time ever so slowly their physical body would be drained and the physical energy would be transferred to the staff. Making it more powerful (if only slightly) by every user/those touched by the tip. If there were ever any truly worthy individuals Yngbald would give them an antidote but until then he would not. And as such Yngbald crafted his staff. Capable of great good and great evil. He made use of the element Marydion he had created himself. He made the element into a core in order to allow greater acces to the magical dimension. Whilst the rest of the staff would be made of a combination of steel and gold. Lending it both strength and purity. Yngbald then gazed down at his creation and smiled. He then descended into the center of the great tree, all within being temporarily being blinded by a bright blue light. When they could see again they would notice an addition to the centre of the tree. It was a staff. And all subtly knew it was not a normal staff, it was the staff of Yngbald. 9. The Kingdom of Rihad Haserick looked at the map of Hamerfell and frowned. Hammerfell was already sparsely controlled by the Redguard and now Skaven had conquered another redguard kingdom. That was most worrying. He needed to do something about this. Simply investing into the economy would not do, he would need an army in order to protect his kingdom and Hammerfell in general. Thus he called Braika to the war room. When Braika arrived in the war room Haserick pointed to the map. Showing the recent aquisitions of Skaven. “This cannot stand. With Skaven conquering even more land they will soon grow stronger and possibly further West. Furthermore, they are oppressig the redguard who live in their territory. Thus we need to prepare an army for either defense or offense. We cannot allow any more of Hamerfall to be conquered by these Imperials.” Haserick’s military commander smiled at this a little gingerly. She had been one of the most prominent figures in court pushing for increased militerization of the kingdom. Whilst her brother was more focused on developing the economy. However, Haserick knew that right now he needed to make sure the army was strong. Because if it was not his kingdom and Hamerfall in general would inevitably fall. Then Haserick said the specific number of troops he wanted and how much of the treasury would be used for this Braika’s smile grew even larger. 10. The Empire of Japan Sai Weng lost horse, how know not your blessing. (Rp will come later today or this weekend) Actions A large citizen effort is set up to help deal with the Dutch Flu. The goverment would not close it’s borders seeing as the flu had already arrived in the country. Rather nurses and others with medical experience would aid in treating those with symptoms of the flu. Trying to treat the symptoms and reduce the amount of people who died due to it. However in all honesty the government does not have much hope of treating this sickness. Seeing as research into a vaccine is ineffective and that the disease will inevitably spread, grow into a less-effective strain or people will grow immune to it. However, posters are put accros cities reccomending to stay in their homes and to try to have the least possible interaction with other citizens. So as to prevent them from catching the sickness. [MOD] -Accros China and Korea several navel arsenals are built. Both to produce more and better ships whilst also having some additional R&D facilities for testing and developing new technologies. This is so as to increase the ship production of the empire whilst also making sure the ships are of a good quality [MOD] So as to get closer relations with the other two Chinese states and allow the economy of all three Asian powers (Japan, Socialist China and Manchuria) to flourish new railroads are built connecting the three. (If permission is given of course.) The stated reason for this is that it will increase the prosperity of all nations, promote trade and more importantly make it unlikely another war will break out. Stating that making economic ties between the three will make sure that having war is not profitable and will give no beneficial for any of the other powers. [MOD]
  11. The Kingdom of Rihad Haserick admired the military forces gathered before him. Before him in a military parading ground he saw nearly all of the military of the kingdom gathered. Except those who remained in order to police the kingdom. Before him stood nearly 1500 cavalry, 3000 infantry, 2000 archers and 50 mages proudly displayed. Haserick walked past the assembled lines of troops appreciatively. Admiring them. He could clearly see discipline in the palace guards, both mounted and non-mounted. With them being dressed in heavy armor both strong and protected by cloth. Making sure that the soldier underneath the armor would not suffer a stroke whilst still preventing him or her from being slaughtered by the enemy. The rest (except the mages), were all adquate but not to the same level. The archers provided covering fire which could force enemy forces to remain immobile or slaughter them from the sky. But if any infantry forces came in contact them they would melt like the butter a hot knife went through. Whilst the skirmishers were decent they were the run of the line soldiers. Their strength was mainly in numbers and whilst they could prove effective they were generally more likely to die and be replaced. Then there were the mages, the mages were quite important. They provided heavy fire support. Breaking the lines of the enemy and countering the heavy troops of the enemy. Whilst few in number they were excellent in dealing with heavy infantry. With their spells blasting through the lines and allowing morale to be shattered. Still, this was all in the background of Haserick’s mind as he admired the soldiers. At his side were two people, those who were unofficially called ‘left and right’ as they executed the will of Haserick quickly and efficiently. These were Braika and Boderoc, female and male, brother and sister. Boderoc was the economic advisor of Haserick whilst Braika the military one. Originally they served as his lieutenants in the border guard whilst hunting bandits but now they helped him run the kingdom. Whilst they inspected the troops Braika spoke up. “The troops are decent but they need better. If we ever come up against the Imperial legions we will easily be beaten. We need to have a stronger officer corps and more investment into the academy. The initative of last year was a good start but it is simply not enough. We need to put the majority of our budget into the military academy as well as expanding our number of troops” This was quickly counter by Boderoc. “I disagree, we should focus on our economy. Seeing as we have no intention of conquest and mainly of defense growing our economy is the best way to gain more influence nad power. A military is good for levrage but economic power trumps military during diplomacy. On top of that creating a strong economy means that in the long run a stronger army can be maintained. Thus I say we should put the majority of our budget into improving the economy.” Boderick then seemed to think for a moment. “To be specific, we should expand our road network. Expanding our road network allows traders to travel between our cities faster as well as allowing faster deployment of troops. Making it give benefits both for the economy and for the military.” Haserick then considered the two different arguments for a moment. Weighing the costs and benefits of both approaches. As he did so Haserick rubbed his beard a little. Looking off into the distance as he came to a conclusion. “We shall take a combination of both. The majority of our resources will got to expanding our road network. Ten thousand septims to be exact. Whilst six thousand septims will go to finishing the military academy. Seeing as we have no immediate threat at our borders means we should not unduly expand our military. On top of that it is neccesary to keep some money in the treasury in case of emergencies.” Both of his advisors nodded at this. Both not completely satisfied but satisfied enough. But that is the way of things, when you rule it is inevitable that some will dislike your decisions. It is like diplomacy, the best solution is the one both sides hate just as much as the other. 12. Yngbald, lord of magic and progress Yngbald, observed the happenings inside his tree with a smile and laughed. He delighted in seeing great cunning and wit of Sylvaniel. It was a tad bit unfortunate that the artifact was lost but that was only a minor inconvenience. It was not his main goal in any case and he had no doubt a being like Sylvaniel would use if most effectively. But this encounter with his fellow godling had shown Yngbald that he would need to be able to defend himself. If Wol-Kot or another god ever interfered negatively with his experiments he would need to be able to ward them away. Thus Yngbald set himself the task of creating an avatar for his divine being. To speak to the mortals and to manifest his will in the mortal realm. In contrasts to the fellow gods the avatar of Yngbald is humble. It is a shapeshifter, being able to take the forms of any race so as to be able to blend in and speak with the races. This form usually is a cloaked figure under a dark cloak that hides it’s face. Or any other form it desires. But when the avatar of Yngbald needs to impress people or express divinity it shall take a special form. A form with which to inspire awe and fear. Picture of the avatar of Yngbald in it’s special form This avatar of Yngbald shall be known as ‘Ahriman’ to those mortals it speaks to. With the size of a normal humanoid but with a great knowledge of magic and other laws of the world. When he was finished with pouring his power into a avatar for his power he took a moment to regain his bearings. It was an odd sensation, departing with your power in order to create something greater. However it was also so satisfying. Yngbald’s eye then turned to the seas. Here he saw the Kyrkal, powerful and sentient beings. However Yngbald found them, lacking. They did not exemplify what he imagined the ocean world needed most. The ocean world needed a more intelligent and cunning being. One with a great imagination and potential for growth. Beings not restricted in their growth by short lifespans. No he needed something else. As Yngbald watched the seas he noticed something. He saw a being rise up onto the surface and take in air before retreating into the depth’s once more. He saw it’s agile form, but more importantly, it’s great intelligence. He intently watched as the creature and it’s pack started to hunt fish near his folly. Though far away from any of the monsters that travelled in the cursed waters. This race had great potential but they just missed a few things. Whilst intelligent they were not yet sentient and neither could they handle tools or tread on land if needed. Thus Yngbald brought a group of these creatures to his undgerground temple and transformed them. He added two legs to the creature and gave it a pair of arms. Allowing it to tread on land and swim under the sea. Then he gave the creature the gift of sentience. Gifting it with increased intelligence, creativity ,curiosity and magic. Making them great thinkers, inventors and explorers. A race dedicated to growth. Almost entirely a representation of what Yngbald desired most. Making it able to adapt and invent great things. However, in order to compensate for their gifts these creatures are less fertile than most mortals. With it being enough to grow and multiply and survive. But it means that they won’t replenish losses quickly. Finally Yngabld gave the creatures a name, the Myrdians. 13. The Kingdom of Rihad Haserick sat in his throne room, contemplating what course of action he should take. He had only recently come to power into his position and defeated the usurper that had tried to take his family’s lands. However, due to retaking his birthright most of the army was in disarray and had been scattered as well as weakened. Thus he needed to build up the military of the nation once more. To make sure it was safe from both threats inside and outside of the realm. Considering that his domain was bordered by two imperial duchies it was important he could defend himself in case of any attacks. However, he also needed men to control the countryside. Bandits were always notorious and would always rise up at the first signs of weakness. Thus he needed a strong military to crush any bandits already in his lands as well as discouraging any other peasants from taking up the job of a thug. Inevitably he would also need to improve the lot of the citizens and peasants but that was later in the future. A realm first needed to be able to defend itself and it’s citizenry before it could attend to the wishes of the citizens. Haserick mind then drifted off to the quality of troops. During the battle to retake Rihad from the usurper he had noticed that his troops did not have enough organisation. They were mostly led by uneducated sergeants who did not have the skills neccesary to make the force fight effective. Thus he would need to train better officers in order to properly lead his troops. Thus Haserick called for a meeting with his closest advisors and explained his plans and ordered them to be executed as he desired. Often going to the siege workship to learn how the catapults and other devices worked. When he was 16 he got a position as captain. He was tasked with clearing out dens of bandits and did his task dutifully and effectively until an event happened that changed his life. Back at home a major noble tried to usurp the kingdom from the Redfist dynasty. He was sucessfull in killing Haserick’s father, mother and two elder brothers but not him. 19. Yngbald, lord of magic and progress Yngbald looked at the result of his hard work and just let out a sad sigh. It was a shame, that such a grand experiment could not be employed, or was at least delayed. But he supposed this was an experiment in it’s own way. Finding out what happened if Ao was angered. He supposed it was a result of his own hubris. After his grand sleep and the start of another era Yngbald looked at his adamantine tree. He was delighted to see that the mortals were starting to decipher his runic code and were prospering in his forest. Yngbald wanted to create an avatar but realized that he did not have the power to do so. Neither could he create another race. He might be able to create a subrace of these Nyren but what use would it be. Yngbald then debated what to do, to either spare his energy or to create some kind of artifact. But what sort of artifact could he create. Then an idea fluttered in the mind of Yngbald. Knowledge was power, and any civilization to arise around his adamantine tree would be sure to desire knowledge. He could make a book but his tree was already a book in essence, and he could create one later. No, the people who would come here should be able to gain knowledge. To be able to observe natural phenonema safely without getting too close or to gain knowledge of their enemies. And as such in the deepest chamber of his adamantine tree Yngbald created a representation of the world sphere. One of hard light. But that was not all that was to it, the user of the artifact can make it focus on one particulair area. To a microscopic level if needed. On top of that mere walls will not stop the gaze of this artifact. Allowing the user to hear, see and read whatever it wanted. Becoming a great tool for mortals to gain information in the future. But then Yngbald supposed, there would need to be something more to the artifact. So rather than just allowing the artifact to go through walls he allowed it to see past other things. To look into the dreams of other beings. As well as allowing the users to look past any amount of solid objects. Thus allowing the user to aquire forbidden knowledge but at their own risk. Meaning that if some people too hard they would go mad. Then Yngbald added a final touch to the map. He made it so that the map could also be transformed to show the pathways of magic. THe possibilities but also the dangers. To show mortal being when fluctuations would occur or how to best manipulate and attain magical power. When he was finshed Yngbald was tired. Then he sat down on a small throne of roots that allowed him to be seated. He then closed his eyes and slumbered once more. 20. The Empire of Japan The Journey of a thousand miles start with a single step. Tōgū-gogakumonsho, that was the name of a university on mainland Japan. One highly appraised accros the nation and one which was for a large part focused on one particulair student. Hirohito Yamamato, also known as the heir apparent of the empire of Japan. Right now Hirohito was 16 years of age. Whilst in appearance he might have been similair to any other Japanese teenager he had much greater responsibility. With his father’s ailing health he was suspected to become Imperial regent sometime soon but right now that was not the priority. Right now he was having a philosopohy/history lesson with Sugiura Shigetake, an elder statesmen who was now focused on the eduction of Japan. The two of them sat cross-legged on a carpet whilst between them was a low-levelled mahogany table with several books on it. Sugiura was now speaking to Hirohito. “My Prince, we have often talked about philosophy’s about the past but let us now focus on an important philosophy that is growing to be quite important, Tanoism.” The teacher then began to spoke in a lecturing voice. “As you might know Tanoism was created by the Korean Nu-Dong-Gun. He had seen the events on the Western front and seeing suffering from both the Chinese, Korean and Japanese soldiers saw the need for them to stay united. Because he also saw the looming threat of the West, who wish to increase their power at the cost of any other nation.” Hirohito nodded at this, listening intently to what his teacher was saying. Considering that it was an extremely important and active ideology. “In the Issho Ni Tsuyoko, Nu-Dong-Gon expressed three core tenents: 1. The need for a strong Asian state 2. The economic recover of China and 3. The folly of the Chinese warlords.” ”The first part is both the most important and the most relevant. The need of a strong Asian state is emphasised by showing the actionsof the European and for a large part allowing the reader to form a conclusion. It cites stories from the Opium wars until the battle of Bohai Bay where the Germans interefered with Asian affairs. The Issho Ni Tsuyoko emphasises that in order to withstand the pressure from Imperialist European powers a strong Asian nation is needed. With the only nation being viable to spearhead this Asian state being the Empire. ” Hirohito realized this and Sugiura did not have to explain why the Empire of Japan was the only option. China was too fractured and Thailand was too weak. Whilst the rest of Asia was dominated by European powers. Thus leaving the responsibility of Asia under the empire. In the future under him. “The second, in contrast, focused on the recovery of China. This is needed in order to gain the support of our Chinese subjects as well as make that part of the empire more profitable. Making it easier for the Chinese territories to become assets for the empire rather than a pit that simply swallows up resources and manpower.” Hirohito thought about this. It was a logical solution after all. In his military lessons it was made clear what the costs of occupying foreign territories was. The garrisons needed and the measures that would need to be employed. Applying a military occupation accros a country so vast as China would be near impossible. ((TO BE CONTINUED LATER)) Actions More work is put into building railroads to connect the cities of China. With the Japanese Government seeing the economic benefits a good railway system can bring as well as faster mobilization and troop movement accros China. Thus works on the Chinese railroads continue. [MOD] On top of that the ideological war continues. Japanese ‘missionaires’ continue to ‘convert’ the socialists to the Tanoist cause. Whilst also doing their best to improve relations with the Socialist faction. This is so the two nation can get a closer bond with each other. [MOD] At the same time more work is done in Indonesia. First of all the Japanese representatives proceed to set up a plan for the Indonesians to gain their independence. The plan involves both a peaceful and more militarily focused approach. First of all, on an unspecified date, a revolution will start. With the start of the revolution protests will start on the streets with the Indonesians demanding their independence. At the same time armed Indonesians militia groups will occupy Dutch garrisons. Making sure that the islands of Indonesia can quickly be stabilised and aquired by the Indonesians if neccesary. Though the attempt to subdue the garrison should be as bloodless as possible. Making sure to first offer surrender and good prisoner treatment until the Dutch government acknowledges INdonesian independence. The Japanese will also secretly smuggle in 50k guns and equipment of demobilized troops and reserves. On top of sending in several staff officers to make sure that the revolution will be well organized and will sucseed in a swift stroke of succes. Hopefully making the revolution quick and relatively bloodless [MOD] In order to continue improving the local economy of China and to increase the prosperity of the occupied territories the government sponsors several industrial projects in China. Sponsering new steel mills, new factories etc. with much of the factories being built in Tianjin where Japanese machines can easily be imported. This is so as to both increase the industrial output both in times of peace and in times of war. With the factories allowing the production of goods that will improve the standard of living accros Japanese China. [MOD] -A plan is set up to vote for the new voting laws the next year. In order to properly review the laws and subsection and to allow both sides of the debate to prepare their arguments [No mod] On top of that the army is demobilized. With the number of active soldiers reduced to 800k and reserves to 200k. With the number of active soldiers before the war increased so as to deal with the newly aquired territories. [No Mod required] -An alliance is formed with Brazil

  22. The Empire of Japan The Journey of a thousand miles start with a single step. THe city of Tianjing, once a Actions The Shipyards of of the empire are used to build ships for the Brazilians. This will be done in return for a payment by the Brazilians. This is seen as a profitable deal by the empire. In order to reduce radicalism in Japan a plan is set forth. This plan involves the media spreading a more moderate and pan-Asian ideology. This is mostly targeted at the young generation and the middle-aged. Seeing as the older generations are more stuck to their ways the Japanese goverment does not target them. Rather, the government has an attitude of. ‘The significant traditionalists anyway, we just need to wait some time for them to die off due to old age.’ In short, media is used to support moderate ideology and the education in all of the empire is changed to reflect this new ideology. [MOD] The Japanese high command has recognised that the war of China is no longer a physical war but an ideological one. This war will not be waged with guns but with the hearts and minds of the people and the shows of succes. Thus the plan to develop China is further expanded as well as a more active propaganda effort: First of all the subsidising of the creation and expansion of business is continued. As well as the continuation of building schools in CHina. With the goal being that at the end of the year every settlement which has a population larger than 1000 having at least one school. This is to make sure that the Chinese people are properly educated. [MOD] ON top of that, making use of Chinese conscript labor and POW’s, a set of railways are constructed throught the occupied territories. THese railways would connect the cities of China with each other allowing for a more connected territory. [MOD] Finally the Japanese propaganda machine gets rolling. In an effort to increase the spread of the now named ideology, Tanoism, new posters are made. These posters are made to help support a more Pan-Asian identity, emphasising the need of Asia to stand strong against Western Imperialists. On top of that certain figures of charisma and who are proven to be ‘missionaries’ of the ideology are sent to Indonesia and Socialist China. They take with them pamphlets and copies of the 2nd edition of the Tanoist manuscripts. In Indonesia their goal is to promote the idea of Indonesian independence with the guiding hand of the Japanese aiding them. They will here also contact local indepdence groups and try to sway them to Tanoism and the Japanese ideology. In Socialist China their task is similair but, different, here their goal is to act as part diplomats whilst also spreading the ideology. They are to act whilst reluctantly accepting socialism in certain aspects but also supporting the Tenents of Tanoism. Which are primarily the need of a pan-Asian state and the system to increase local wealth accros China with education and good business practices. Here they preach the need of peaceful integration between the two nations and a strong Asia to protect against Western aggresions. Citing examples like the Opium wars and other European Imperialist action. [MOD] Furthermore, with peace signed the Japanese economy is transitioned back to a civilian economy. Allowing the economy to fully prosper once more [MOD]

The beating heart in the first experiment that will be performed in creation and possibly the greatest ? Yngbald creates a vast stone temple, with stone corridors, mazes and hidden entrances. Inside of these walls, similair to the great tree is the runic script. With the closer one gets to the centre, the more powerful and complicated the runic language grows. And, maybe for his ego, maybe for the wish to see what happens when sentients are given a possible god to worship Yngbald carves into the walls a more biased story of creation. Or rather focusing more on his own creations. The walls would tell of magic, of the great forest beyond the sea and his tree and of the elements that had been created by Yngbald himself. However, this temple is not merely a testament to Yngbald’s pride but also a machine for his experiment. Because as Yngbald creates the alignment he creates something that will seperate the alignments for some time. Under his temple he creates a buble of poisonous gas, large and what would seem to be an infite amount. And at the borders of the various alignemnts Yngbald creates a system that will send the poison gas up into the water. This will prevent sea life from crossing this barrier. Once activated this barrier will last for 200 years, after which it will run out of gas to feed itself. Though the temple of Yngbald itself will be surrounded by the gas for another 300 years. 4ap To finish of the various alignments Yngbald creates a ‘Neutral alignment’ here Yngbald inserts his essense and will of balance into it. Making the creatures there capable of great acts of compassion or terrible acts of cruelty depending on the situation. But more importantly, rather than the teamwork of ‘good’ or savagery of ‘evil’ this alignment will improve cunning and craftiness. Sentient beings here would be more likely to create traps and complex plans to create a greater foe than go slugging in straight up combat. 1ap stored https://imgur.com/a/NH5wIu9 Green = poison barrier blue = temple of Yngbald grey = neutral alignment ((and yes Samo I know I normally can only do the alignment of one tile))

But in any case for either good or bad this long wait would not last much longer. The Sergeant had said that it would only be one more minute until landfall. Where they were to meet fierce Chinese resistance. Though Satow did not worry about that, it were merely Chinese after all. Any halfway decent Japanese could take out 10 of them with ease. That is what his parents had told him from birth, his father a former soldier in the Imperial army who fought in the first sino-japanese war and in the samurai rebellion. Then Satow felt the landing craft shake and saw the hatch which was several men removed from him suddenly drop down to the ground. This was accompanied by the General screaming to move out. Satow felt that the sergeant was over reacting, they were to be the first wave, the Chinese would have long been defeated at this point in time. But he still did as commanded, seeing as honoring your commander is paramount to survival. Then as Satow rushed out of the landing craft he was greeted by the sigh of mayhem. Lines of fellow marines rushing forward towards the dunes in waves as the doctrine had taught them and to quickly overwhelm the enemy. But Satow also saw dozens upon dozens of corpses upon the ground. Some even rotting due to the combination of the water and salt affecting the body as well as the heat this time of year. Satow felt the need to barf but he could not do so, feeling the training stopping him from delaying his time and energy like that. So he pushed forward In front of him were several small dunes. Even now fellow marines were shouting battlecry and charging up the hills. Or providing covering fire for their comrades, whilst taking cover behind the dead boddies of their comrades. Satow noticed that the Chinse had emplace several pieces of machine guns on top of the low dunes and only just now noticed several wide spread out holes indicating artillery fire. Seeing this Satow rushed forward, not wishing to share the same fate as the others who had made this beach their final resting place. As such he rushed forward, running faster than ever before even with his heavy uniform and weaponry. Even with even his fellow squad mates getting torn up by machine gun and artillery fire beside, in front and behind of him. Eventually Satow made his way towards the low dunes where the Japanese and Chinese had proceeded to maul each other in melee combat. It was absolute chaos. All Satow could do was attach a bayonet to his rifle and charge forward screaming. In front of him he saw a Chinese soldier who had a rifle. He stood next to a now silenced machine gun and to what seemed to be his loader. Seeing a clear target Satow charged forward. The Chinese man then seemed to noticed him and grabbed his rifle steady which already had a bayonet attached to it. As he charged towards the man Satow for just a second saw his life and saw several memories flash before him flash before him. Memories playing samurai with his brother and the sad looks his Grandfather had sent him. The look of a veteran seeing another generation of warriors be trained. A new generation to either live or die in the fires of war. Almost as soon as the flash begun it ended. Now Satow was charging once more, he twisted his body to the right as the Chinese soldier thrust a bayonet in his direction. HIs side still got grazed and a thin cut but that was all. Nothing threatening as long as it did not get infected. The chinese was not so lucky. Sawo with his training and childhood of play fighting had a steady aim with his bayonet which hit his enemy right in his center of mass. With what was almost like panic Sawo just kept stabbing even after the Chinese man had stopped breathing. After he did this for a minute he looked around. THe rest of the marines seemed to have gotten past the ridge and were making their way to the harbor to secure it. Satow’s hands were shaking heavily, with Satow looking at almost something like disgust at his hands. This was not what battle was supposed to be like, battle was supposed to be honorable dueling, easily defeating the enemy and showing the savages the superiority of the empire. But this, this was just wrong. And as he looked at the corpse of the man he killed and one of his fellow comrades Satow wondered for a moment what was really the difference. One man was of a different nation than the other but they were both Asian. ANd now Asians were slaughtering Asians, slaughtering their kin. Satow then looked upon the man once more and in a morose and still shell-shocked state of mind supposed that looting the body would not be any problem. The Chinese man would not have a use for it anymore. As Satow searched through the man’s pockets he did not find much of value, just some little knick knacks here and there, just human things until he came upon what seemed like a picture. He took it with his hands and saw as the blood of the man he just killed partially stained it. Then he weeped, just sad tears leaving his eyes and Satow shook and cried in agony and regret and the picture fell from his hand. The picture was of the Chinese man, smilling happily in the foto together with his wife and little daughter, all of them happy. With what seemed to be a bright future ahead of them all. A future now cut short. Actions Early 1916: - An investment is put into the Research and development department of the Japanese Government. Hoping to improve the rate of technological research that the Imperial state has. [MOD] - Much of the war taxes and military budget it lowered, making the civilian economy able to prosper once more. Though the taxes and goverment budget remain larger than before the war started. [No mod action] -In order to connect the empire properly a project is done to improve transport in the empire. Firstly a new railway is built being based off already existing ones in Manchuria and Korea. This railway will connect the major cities of Korea with each other, it will go through Manchuria and then through the major cities of the newly occupied Beiyang territory. Allowing for faster movement of people, including troops ? Secondly the port city of Tianjing is rebuilt. Allowing shipping from the Japanese mainland to arrive more easily and spread throughout occupied China. [MOD] -New schools are built in occupied China. Focusing around the cities and major settlements. Here schools will be set up which of course give a good standard of education but also focuses on partially indoctrinating Chinese children. Letting them believe in the quickly spreading ‘Way forward’ and in a pan-asian state with Japan at the lead. [MOD] Late 1916: -If not finished then the transport projects continue -More schools are built in China to help teach a new generation of children to be loyal to the empire. -If funds are left remaining then progress will begin in revitalizing the Chinese economy. This is done partially by subsiding and supporting new local factories to be build. On top of that other subsidies and tax cuts are made to ease the expansion and setting up of new companies. This should help in creating a greater wealth in China and together with the railroad network increase local prosperity. [MOD] -The new ideology of Issho Ni Tsuyoko is encouraged to be spread througout the country. Hopefully resulting in it becoming popular and making the eventual goals of the empire easire to achieve https://docs.google.com/document/d/1J89zDi6Zy3qlUvTGWKgPr8Afe8Iq40IQiMQXW1dNDgo/edit?usp=sharing [MOD]
  25. Clan Ordo Dodging to the left a Mandalorian in dark green and blue colored armor quickly missed an iron staff thrust that had been aimed for his abdomen and center of mass. He made use of this oppertunity to take grasp of one of his opponent’s staffs and using it to block another staff coming for Yunnan. He then proceeded to roll to the side as his oppponent had regained control of his staff. But with the oppertunity he had managed to escape the circle of three Mandalorians that surrounded him. Quickly sending glances around his opponents in front of him Yunan carefully considered the situation. As of right now he was outnumbered, he either needed to take his enemy by surprise or take them out slowly, one by one. Yunan decided that he would use the former option. Deciding that surprise was needed if he wanted to win the fight quickly. Considering that his opponents would in total have more stamina than him and, if they so desired, could quickly exhaust him. Thus Yunan quickly ran forward, getting in range of his opponent’s metal staffs but then getting too close to the opponent on his left for him to effectively used it. His opponent dropped it to engage in hand-hand combat but it was already too late. Yunan threw his opponent over his shoulder and incapacitated him for the remainder of the battle. He then proceeded to almost (though not completely) grasp the still falling metal staff and threw it at the opponent farthest back from him. Temporarily keeping her occupied for a second so as to dodge it. Yunan made use of this oppertunity to roll under the now incoming attack of his other opponent and kick his legs out from under him. Yunan then once more picked up a metal staff and then proceeded to in a quick flurry of strikes disarm his last opponent and with a jab at the jaw throw her to the ground. Yunan then extended a hand to his fallen opponent who gratefully took it, muttering. “You Adden Al verde (mercilles leader)” To which Yunnan let out a laugh. ”A Mando must not show mercy to his opponent. So neiher must I.” Though said good-naturedly there was a harsh layer of honesty in Yunnan’s words. Yunnan then turned to a Mandalorian who stood at the side. Doing a few stretches to make sure his muscles did not strain and asked the Mandalorian to the side. Known as Mardak, who was the unofficial secretary of Yunnan. Or as much as a secretary you could get to in Mandalorian culture. ”So Mardak, what does the report say.” Mardak dutifully explained in short what was in the report. “Things are progressing mostly as planned. As you might like to know, the shield generator was checked and no signs of sabotage have been found. On top of that some minor aircraft factories are being set up at Treibian and should be ready for production at the end of the year.” Yunnan carefully considered this information. He might have been a little paranoid but like a Mandalorian saying went ‘Better paranoid than dead’, or that might just have been a saying his father had. Yunnan’s thought process then went to the fighter factories that were mentioned. With the factories bieng set up at Treibian they would never have a shortage of kom’rk. However, Yunnan also knew that the Kom’rk was not exactly what he needed. Whilst it acted sufficiently as a fighter/transport, it was not a fighter. It was designed to funtion in raids but not for real dogfighting. With Clan Ordo being stuck on this planet and becoming a more physical faction they needed to have a more dedicated fighter corps as well. Yunnan then cut his musing ans spoke to Mardak. ”Mardak, see if you can get the techies to possibly develop a more dedicated fighter. Considering the kom’rk sucks at dogfighting, try to see if you can get Tarro at 10:00 to further discuss. this in detail. Also, send five men under Daggor to Andwell. We need information on the local enviroment for the future. Send him to the headquarters at 11:00 for a more dedicated briefing. ” Yunnan then seemed to think for a moment. ”Also send Voll and Valen to the headquarters at 12:00. I need to discuss with them the need to fortify the base further, send some men to those Imperials to teach them a thing or two and to aid those Eidichi in setting up a proper quality factories.” Mardak nodded. Quickly tapping at his datapad. Yunnan then let out a sigh. If only his job as commander was to do battle. It would make things easier. But no, rather than doing combat he needed to almost always have meeting. But that was the duty of a leader. And if he did not do it then it was possible ‘the artifact’ would never be found. If it did exist and not found it would be a shame on the clan that he could not erase. Yunnan then shook his head and went off to the headquarters for more meetings. Maybe he could fly a little with Masero later that day. Actions -Men are sent to the city of Andwell so as to aquire information on the local factions as well as their strength. On top of that they are to probe the integrity and influence of the local faction/crime syndicates if possible. -The techy Mandalorians and Engineers (and Eidichi scientists if willng) are ordered to, if possible, create a new variant of the current Mandalorian fighters. Making it more of a fighter and less of a transport. With the focus being on using the standard Mandalorian design whilst also incorperating Eidichi tech so as to make it more easy to be locally produced. The goal of this figher is to have more speed, maneuverability and a little more firepower than the standard kom’rk fighters. -At Treiban some of the Mandalorians would aid in setting up the light aircraft ‘factories’ and making sure the quality of the fighters remained good. -The other Mandalorians who aren’t busy with these tasks or busy patrolling are ordered to further fortify the base. Slowly starting to create a ‘fotress’ in which Clan Ordo was safe from other threats. -five Mandalorians are sent to the Imperial loyalist centres to take part in the SCAR program and train several stormtroopers.
