  1. What does this mean for skinners? Let’s say I sell a skin for 600 mina. And I do two of those sold skins in a day and get 1200. I’m going to get a fee for putting in days of work and gaining a large sum of mina for it. This is going to make your skinners wanting to convert to USD and irl money payments.
  2. Very nice. Thank you Junar and WT team for working hard to provide us with a very beautiful 8.0 map.
  3. ok for the staff and our benefit... put your complaints here... so maybe they can be productive rather than bickering. It's just like since some are actually reasonably i thought this could be helpful
  4. Life was simple, delicate, and raw. While there was joy, there was also pain. Love and Hate; Happiness and Sorrow; Anger and Tranquility; Fear and Courage. An unspoken balance for a man of pure simplicity. He had loved at a youthful age and watched her pass years before himself, he had seen his wife - a Pruvia of great beauty - dressed in silk of white. Yet, he felt no love. His children were his joy as he travelled across the seas with him in tow, content. He felt further pride with the variety of his grandchildren as they rose into their own bold characters. As the man’s chest heaved and wavered as bile filled every inch of his lungs, constricting it greatly as the d’Emyth grappled onto his torso, eyelids heavy as he’d silently dwell in thought. A life which was much different from the path of his half-siblings. He favored a life on the sea, using the little inherited riches he had to invest in a vessel so he might enjoy life as a simple merchant. His heart and its beating became more shallow as he heard his daughter - Evanna - thrust back against a wall, beginning to fade alongside him. As his eyes had opened the man stared out to the vast waters at his front, hands clad upon a sturdy wheel of wood. The gray gaze of the younger Henry drifted outwards at the endless horizon at his front, and to his right sat his wife, Emma. To his left would be a zealous Evanna, lips drawn into a smile. All the man could do is smile, staring out to the sea. A life of simplicity, a life of difficulties, a life. As he sailed along the endless ocean, a noise could be heard constantly in the back so very vaguely, he heard the hum of a certain lullaby sang by a certain Stafyr.

    Texturepack

Do you think LOTC should get a personal TexturePack/ResourcePack?
  6. Characters Across the Ages ❋ Something fun to consider ❋ I'll make this blunt. Across the ages a lot of players have joined us and left. Yet, what is considerably overlooked at times is what us players of LOTC creature adventures with - or rather who. So, for shits and giggles, I am making this thread for players to share fun moments with their characters they had overtime as well as who some of their characters were. Participate if you want or not. Up to you! ❋ Marcy Proudfoot (Zuberzuri) : (Athera) Probably one of my best known characters and the first. She was known as a woman infected with a blood imp and lived within a cute cabin in Salvus under my good friend Allen. She was married to a /lot/ of men as thanks to emotional 12 year old me I just couldn't settle for a good mineman lover dude. She ended up siring a lot of current elven and half-elven families who are present to this very day. She was undoubtedly one of my most evolved and favorite characters I had throughout the years. ❋ Jade de Bosco (Wycombe) : (?) A chaotic pirate that was adopted by a man with a giant warship. She ended up falling in love with an Ashes and a man by the name of 'Fox'. In the end she ended up becoming a makeshift Imperial Admiral under Istria before being cucked out of it due to ooc salt, crazy man. She was a super admirable character ❋ Eva Anna von Aesterwald-Marna : (whenever westerlands was) A very friendly Waldenian woman who ended up marrying Leopold. She became the first Queen of Westerlands and I ended up giving birth to the one and only Caius or our dude Mister Joey Calabreeni. ❋ Maid #20000 : I was a Savoyard maid at a time. ❋ Mare: One of my most memorable characters who was known as the Calendula Druid - she was friends with TarreBears old Empress - Julia and her twin brothers. She also saved Julia from being slaughtered by a bear. Great times. She is forever remembered ❋ Hillith Athna: My literal irrelevant Xan spawn who is just an anti-social aunt Paladin ❋ Mariana Dubois: Yeeeeeahhhhhh boy. She is known as Vaeri Izalith as well. Basically the Foster ❋ Lorelle: She was the firstborn daughter of Peter Sigismund the II and due to hating life within the Palace and dreading how things were at the time she had left and resided by the Marked Men before being forced to assist with Mordskov where I participated in some events and she got with a Marked Man named Vicelin before siring few offspring. ❋ Melia: A crazy 'ame wood elf who was the daughter of my good Finnigan friend. She ended up aspiring to become a mage though never took the final fling to do so as she got bored and just sort of vanished for a time. She is perma shelved. She is probably just wandering about and learning as much as she can ❋ Lucrecia de Falstaff-Vladov: She was very prominent in the Two Emperor War and was my vintner character. She ended up in a love triangle between Joseph the I and Romulus of Cascadia. She sired many good wines and vodkas. Her favorite family member was her Uncle Banquo. I really enjoyed the roleplay on this character and will miss her dearly ❋ Jeanne Vladov: Killed by Golem in Varoche Hall. She was in the Senate. Really havoc really formal. Didn't like the character too much. ❋ Hanya Sano-Lancefeld: A secret Sanoist and woman of Event-Planning. Truly a memorable character. Favorite Moments 1.) Waking up September Prince 2.) Being Parion's mother 3.) All of my Orenian Characters 4,) Stabbing a bear in the bollocks to save TarreBear 5.) Roleplaying in Carnatia or w/e with the Kovachevs 6.) The Warhawkes 7.) The Druids and Paladins any rp w/ them 8.) Fighting Gudour 9.) Mordskov 10.) The bullworm 11.) Even if he was a pedo. Zer0 had an ok tavern for rp in Athera 12.) Anything Dwarf 13.) Roleplaying with Bell and doing Sanoism 14,) Marked Men rp. Though majority of the users dislike me now from that group. Their rp made me very happy and had a huge impact on how I conduct my roleplay.

  9. An elfess gone by ages silently sat within her abode above the starlight canvas, hands cradling her pale skirts, eyes fluttered shut. She would gently inhale with a heave of her torso, digits wrought about the white fabric, tears beginning to bubble at memoir. Her heart ache, and her mind numbed. Was it truly worth a century of sorrow for forever lasting solace? Death was merciless and she was cruel.
  10. Mariana Dubois was in fact obese and filled in most of the bed.
  11. The Emperor was dead. Those simple printed words upon the parchment stung as verdant eyes took in the contents, reading them as she’d traverse along the roadside, lips thinned. From her youthful age of fourteen the girl had been serving said Emperor, beginning as a simple tavern-performer, soon joining the Secretary of Interior. Yet, the Emperor was dead. As the woman strode along the muddied roads with her ginger locks bound via twine she’d inhale, chest heaving outwards, ache consuming her. She had been Mariana Dubois, a joyous woman of avergnant origins, kind to all and a mystery at best. Her parties were envied, mechanics sought after, and status known as socialite. She was a pebble lost in the mud and she polished herself as a gem. She had been through her own sorrows and guilt through life, enduring them to better herself and those around her, pushing on. She watched as her mother and father were slaughtered upon a ragged and broken structure of their own home, a citadel swelled with abnormal waters, and left for dead. Gripping to her roof with tremendous ache in her fingers a woman of ivory locks and emerald gaze had rescued her. She grew with gratitude and awe while her faux-siblings grew with resentment toward this elfess. She became educated, selfish, and selfless all the while. Unpredictable at best. She forced herself to mature to strive for the best, to care for both herself and others, keeping on. She grew alongside Carringtons as her mother’s sister as a sacrifice so her adoptive guardian might take advantage of the brief joy she had cherished. She found her way to Kaedrin, attempting to bring it from rubble, which she did. Perhaps it was a town absent of too much activity and prosperity akin to its neighbors; yet it was hers. It was a place she picked to live and nurture from. Out of both tactic and care she adopted youth galore to claim as her own, to bring up in a life which she had not, to bring joy. Nathanael, Lavinia, Nenica, Adrienne, Vivian, and George. She felt normalcy of a family; spoiling them, caring for them, loving them. Yet, with age and truth they grew with resentment and hatred. She did not blame them. She did not deserve them. She watched as Nathanael used profit to travel the world as he so desired, Lavinia found love, Nenica found herself, Adrienne became a socialite, Vivian brought joy, and George was her. Akin to her he was once a depraved urchin upon the roads, slowly prying that rock from the mud, and polishing it on his own. She had found love herself, marrying in secrecy, to a man with ginger locks so similar to her own. She had found friendship - genuine and false - though meaningful all the same. What she was came from age. What she did came from knowledge. What she would be came from wisdom. Yet, as she’d crumble the paper in her fist, eyes wrought with tears she was ignorant to the shouting nearby. The stampede of hooves accompanied by the harsh whip of reigns were far too swift as the wide-eyed woman pivoted to see the glaring flames of oil lamps and flying specks of mud. What became of the woman was unknown for she was not heard of again. She was gone in a blink. Her mind processing those she loved: Caestella, Ka’lani, Ivoriel, Nathanael, Lavinia, Nenica, Adrienne, Vivian, and George, Godric, Griffith, Oisin, Padraig, Elke, Remi, Jonah, Mary Lucille, Mary Jane, Mary Vespira, Korina, Natalya, Winifred, Cecilia, Edgar, and Katherine. The Emperor was dead. Long live the Empress. Days passed on by... Eventually the news of the apparent passing of Vaeri also known as Mariana Dubois would make itself known via ushered rumors of an abandoned corpse left by a riverbank, it garbed with a flamboyant dress of reds, white, and gold. A ring belonging to the Dubois Family would be found upon her finger and eventually mailed to the young George Dubois for safe-keeping and to carry on within the family.
