Prince Paul Alexander of the Petra spoke with the Ferrymen as he looked out of his windowed cell, missing his homeland and his People. . .

The Third son of Queen Renilde I 'the Reformer' and uncle of the Queen Catherine, Prince Paul Alexander of the Petra looked upon the missive at tea atop a balcony of the Royal Palace seated in Vallagne, the Valley of Lambs.

"Ungrateful weasels, those Stassionites." the Lord Chamberlaine began to chuckle as he speaks to his mother, "That Frederick fellow has quite the gall, I shall give him that. But, only that- these Novellen had-beens are wracking mo nerves! If they make an attempt to plunder or further harm our People, I do so hope that they know what sort of force it is that they are perturbing. I pray deeply for the House von Theonus for their loss, and hope that these Pretenders get what it is they deserve for slaughtering fellow Canonists. Ave le Petrére."

After a hastily-written letter was sent off to the young Queen as well as a to the House von Theonus, the Valfleur retired carelessly and quite intoxicated from cactus green to his chambers.

Paul took a deep breath after taking a small puff from his blunt, "Matrére, you're sure?" inquires the Prince of Valfleur with a snicker and a cocked brow.

Prince Paul Alexander of the Petra looked upon this missive, noticing his mother's and elder brothers name on there so well as his younger niece's - though his was missing. Being the youngest brother of the Pontiff-to-be, he cocked a brow and inquired with his wife the Princess Melina of High Peak, "Perhaps it was a mistake? Or perhaps he is not as holy and good as he claims to be and did such on purpose? Who knows. . ." he scoffed clearly, making it a point to make a clerical error and accidentally exclude the Pontifical Coronation from the public River Court events calendar because of this potential slight.

"This is amazing. Well-deserved, the duo saved mo life at some point or another." the Prince of Valfleur, Paul Alexander of the Petra remarked as he saw the issuance of the letters.

Prince Paul Alexander of the Petra, a longtime fan of Friend of the River had the song performed for him by a Courtier of the Artisan's flock. He smiled the Petran smile as he recounted the numerous times in his youth that the Adunian man had eased his anxieties with his quill.

Prince Paul Alexander of the Petra nodded his head in a neutral manner as he overlooked the missive,

"C'est la vie, ami." responded he simply towards nobody particularly, enabled then to take a seat in his study to look over various River Court documents. He sent the missive towards a Courtier to take upstairs to the parallel Royal apartment that his mother the Queen-Emeritus Renilde I resided in.

I personally feel that it'd be beneficial if we had one hub where an auction house was placed. Global auction houses don't make much sense to me, but rather I think you should journey to one specific location and barter amongst the other people there that are putting their items up for auction. I'd think PVP would be turned off in the region so well as villainy so that it can be a safe haven and not some bandit swarming spot, y'know?

The history of the leal House of Halcourt in the Commonwealth of the Petra extends to its creation, with the ancient House bearing the title to the Barony of Artois of the formerly glorious Old Règime as a Founding House; with the Baron offering land to the then Regent, later Archduke, Paul ‘Fairweather’ Salvian for the Knightly Republic out of the ashes of the Harvest Confederacy.

A tale as old as time — We Halcourt’s have fought with strength against forces that would have wished to conquer the House of the Petra, the Sir Laurens himself having been Baron of Artois and Marshal of the Commonwealth as a Renildene Loyalist during the Petran Civil War before serving as the Viceregent to the Throne of Garmont as the Chancellor of the Petrans for three decades. The Marquis du Clermont, for the same.

The Sir, later Holy Father, Bernard, cousin of Sir Laurens, a man of high accolade as well, did much for the River Petra’s flourishment. So, too, did the Baron Emeritus Sir Yves Olivier and his wife the Baronne Emeritus Dame Justine Margaux; Sir Victor Olivier also served as the Lord Chamberlain of the Petra for many years.

WHEREAS the House of Halcourt shall migrate to the Viceroyalty of Hyspia, their fealty shall henceforth be sworn to the Viceroyalty and its rightful Prince, Cesar II of the House de Pelear

WHEREAS, the Viceroyalty of Hyspia officially recognizes and protects the ancestral title of the Barony of Artois and allows the patenting for the creation of the landed Barony du (of the) Campagnon paired with an appropriately sized holding attached, for the House of Halcourt to inhabit

WHEREAS, any Knight of the House of Halcourt retains the right to petition for integration into the ranks of the Knights of Hyspia after a review of the Chivalric efforts they have made throughout their lives

WHEREAS, to further assist the Viceroyalty, the Sir Laurens has been appointed to be the Canciller de la Patria on the Viceroyal Council of Cesar II.

This was not a decision lightly made, as anyone who knew the relationship that the House of Halcourt held for decades with the Throne of Garmont, knew the adoration that Our Patriarch and Scion the Sir Laurens held for his dear friend and Queen, Renilde from a ripe age.

It is unsurprising to anyone privy to the events as they have transpired, but We are persistent and faithful that our Almighty DIEU will guide us through the River's raging waters.

JOYFULLY, We FURTHER announce the planning of a Fête du Campagnois (c. Festival of the Campagnois) to celebrate our introduction and warm welcome into Hyspia.
