The Visigothic Kingdom 474 AD Not expecting the Basques' defiance, Euric thinks he has gotten the best out of this deal without the bloodshed of his men, he remains angered yet silent. After witnessing the humiliation of his army's performance in even basic march, King Eurich decided to marches on only to return back to Toulouse to properly train his soldiers. They are drilled in the traditional way of war, inspired by the infamous Germanic warbands that bested even the Romans. They are armed in a combination of Swords, Spears, shields, jevalins and bows and undergo intensive combat orientation. They are also introduced to the Triplex accies battle formation after their experiences with the Romans,thus creating a more tactical approach to the battlefield. After receiving news of the neighboring armies moving Euric orders his trusted general Theodoric of his standing army of 3,6 k to travel to Toledo from Cordoba as fast as possible.
