  1. sometimes I think lotc staff should just be told to go fly around atlas and axios to see how cool things were back then.

Spent a good few minutes just flying across diff event sites, like mordring or just ones done in freebuild n now it feels ETs are put so tightly on a leash

There is one official restriction on ET, that being playing deities/higher entities with only permission by management.

As of 8/18/23 since 6/04/23 (transition), considering the non-activity requirement period which ended 7/23/23

135 events took place, impacting 973 non-unique players across ~30 (at the time) team members.

      After team audits since 8/18

~52 events have taken place, impacting ~360 (+-about 15 given some ET wrote variance) nonunique players (this is four events a day)

There's plenty of events, and plenty of players taking part- given the ET are picking up in activity post-audit as we cut inactive members, I think your perspective on leashing is an imposed idea that doesn't really have anything supporting it. There's no limit on eventlines unless they push the bounds of common sense (force pking folks, giving really crazy items, destroying large areas, etc.) which we just have managers glance over and thumbs up or work with the ET to make that an availability, of which, I don't think we've denied any eventlines in recent memory.

I updated my old answer to sorta word it better btw

I'm not talking small events, like monster hunts or chase the chicken

I'm talking the big events, the massive lines where you could go near and be like 'oh jesus ****' like mordring's citadels, destroyed westerlands, the Inferi invasions scars, the Mother's tears, land savaged by the September Prince, the raids from play assisted ETs by that one event faction on Atlas, who were fighting the other guys

My issue really isn't quantity, what I meant by leash is I meant scale, they're allowed to go around and roam about doing stuff sure, but the bigger things that they used to do just feel like a thing of the past

I would also add how deceptive 935 non-unique players is in passing, how many of those were just the same recurring groups to each events?

I can believe you that they're no restrictions, but it just feels like there are, and I'm not trying to claim anyone currently has done that, hell as I said it's probably flam's fault when he tore apart the lore and left it half digested as it is now, I just wanted to point out that hey, maybe we should look back at what has been done, the scale and quantity, the enrich levels of it and see if we can put something from back then into the now.

I mean as I said I've hardly seen any eventlines going, sure events are happening but they don't really get spread out, all events I've attended so far on Aevos have been player led, I was going to attend one last night but hey uh, it was set to start at 1am but what can ya do.

Idk, just feels quieter than before squawk n I miss just the levels of insanity ST's committed to in Axios and Atlas, I can understand it's probably not them, so maybe it's just the fact we lost 1/2 of our lore that was actually useful to events
