In the forest, who knows where, a man in a mask kneels by a grave. The grave has a name. That name is Vallakai. It says "May he rest, for once." The man in the mask has no name, really. Not anymore. These woods are tall, and hold much not seen by man. The wanderer offers a prayer to whoever is above, and ask them to rest this man's soul. He walks away, perhaps not to be seen. He wears the bronze mask, hiding his bluish-green eyes. If he is ever seen again, it shall not be for years, and not where he was before. He is the wanderer, the hunter of monsters, and the bowman. Nobody knows this man, they think. But he knows them, and the last words to escape his lips for quite a long time are "I'm sorry, Cold Wind."

For @chaotikal, I would like to refer to a portion of my original post. "and should be torn down, save the buildings that are undamaged. " This would certainly show that the land has been claimed, and make it look less painful on the passers-by. Keeping it a ruin would be actually very interesting, if it was rebuilt to be like a ruin. This would certainly show how the land has been claimed. And for @Hiebe, that would be mostly what I'm going for. I would love to see Curon have something done with it, as it was an interesting place to RP in and I feel like it's just being sat on. If the entire thing got axed, while it would be an improvement, I would love to see it return, in a way. Even if totally different, if something changed and it improved, it would just be great! I was just concerned, as there isn't much there and some of the builds are actually super good and I'd like to see how it turns out and if some of the old builders will return. Oh, thank you, I'm fairly certain not many people have heard of that. And, as I mentioned, I have nothing against GM's personally, I just think that it's been "In the works" for a while. But thanks for the heads-up, 501!

Yeah it was forgettable after a while but frankly if the GM's want to show that they're actually doing their job, as they do a lot of behind-the-scenes work and get guff for it, tearing down Curon would improve the public opinion by solving a genuine problem with the map.

Hi all! You've probably never heard of me, but I have a question on the Curonian landscar. Apparently there was an activity check there recently, and it was noticed that the sign was broken. I have a few questions. 1. I understand that you can't deny the activity check, but who lives there even? Please leave me a comment if you do. It was griefed long ago, and the few buildings left standing are the church, a training area and a castle. No houses, no rebuilding effort, so whoever broke the sign is... odd. Number 2 is that, despite the activity, the rules also state it must be good-looking. And if the present state of Curon is "Good-Looking" then I'm the king of England. I respect the GM's and all that they do, and they do do an absolute TON, I think that Curon no longer meets the standard of quality that other builds on LoTC are held to, and should be torn down, save the buildings that are undamaged.
