Definitions



This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's!



What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is where you live in a life of another person life and make decisions for them usually you make that character



What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is where your'e character says something or do something where they would have no idea how to do it or what they are talking about. Example: one players character's name is Roy and another players name is Mack. Mack asks roy how do you make a speed potion. Roy tells Mack how to make it but player 2 character aka Roy knows nothing about brewing potions.

What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is where you try to make your character do stuff which would be impossible to do. Example: Roy is being chased by two people. roy then turns around and turns into a dragon and eats them.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Mullan was born in the city of Normandor. Mullan father was killed by orcs Mullan was not told the details but he was told it was an family matter. Because his father is dead Mullan had to learn how to hunt to support his mother. When Mullan turned 30 he was given a ring by his mother and she told him "this is your fathers ring and he was given this ring when he turned 30 by his father and he wanted to give it to you when you turn 30". Mullan surprised by his gift stores it in a box and put it in his bedroom in a chest to keep it safe. One day he was trading some meat for some bread when a beggar asked him if his name is Mullan Archstone. Mullan now surprised asks this man "how do you know my name". The man shakes his head and says "old tom never told you of your uncle argon". Mullan says to the man "my dad never told me i had an uncle". Argon the tells mullan "if you want proof that im your'e uncle Tom had a ring given by our father when he turned 30". Mullan still surprised by the fact he has a uncle he asks "Argon would you like to meet my mother". Argon thinks for a second then accepts. When Argon steps inside Mullan's house Mullan's mother Andrea shouts at argon "you are not welcome in our home you low life rat!". Mullan now wondering why his mother is so angry at argon asks "mother this is my uncle argon". Andrea shouts at him "if he wasn't born you father would still be alive". Argon now cowering behind Mullan shouts at Andrea  "im sorry i was stupid and ratted out tom i didn't know they were going to kill him". Andrea now shouting even louder shouts "I should just kill you right now you low life creature". Argon now fearing for his life runs as fast as he can out of the house. Mullan now enraged by the fact that Argon was the cause of his father's death starts to look for his uncle. Mullan found his uncle in a backstreet. Argon is now looking scared starts begging Mullan to not kill him. Mullan now not as angry says to his uncle "i'm not going to kill you i just want answers why did my father die what reason was there that people would want him dead. Argon looking even more scared says to mullan it is the ring they wanted the ring that father had given to tom. suddenly an arrow gets shot into Argon's head killing him instantly. Shocked Mullan runs from his uncle's dead body and runs to his house to check if his mother is okay. Once he gets to his house his front door is wide open. Mullan now shouting "mother are you okay". Once he gets inside he finds his mother's dead body. Mullan now crying shouts "mother who would do this to you!". Mullan then remembers that Argon was saying that his dad was killed because of the ring. He then runs up the stairs to find his the box with the ring is gone. After the funeral Mullan decides to move to Anthos to get away from all the madness.

What are they like (personality)?: - Mullan became cold-hearted when his mother died but he tries to be friendly to other people



What are their ambitions?: - To find out about the ring that his family was killed for



Do they have any special skills?: - He is good with a bow and is good with a sword



What are their weaknesses?: - He is not good with axes



Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Dirty blonde hair, grey blue eyes and near medium size.

-Having a random orc kill your parent is extremely cliché, and unoriginal.

"How did your character support his mother before he could hunt?"

"Mullan just...didn't even look to see who killed his uncle?..."

"This random ring which was just randomly given at age thirty... is supposedly to kill for - by this nonexistent and unseen group?"

"Your character doesnt question his mom about why orcs killed his dad? nor why his random uncle is to blame...?"

-One cannot simply 'move to Anthos'. Asulon was destroyed, so thence the peoples of Asulon went to Elysium and Kalos, THAN moved to Anthos because the lands were too hostile.
