Burkester 1247 Share Posted October 17, 2014 Each step he took creased the scars and skin-flecked wounds along his body. His step struck the dust off of the ground with each stomp as he climbed out of the arena. He grappled his bison skin, large enough to drape along his shoulders, and swung it around like a cloak with two horns hanging over each of his shoulder blades. His body stood hulking at a commonplace eight feet tall as Wargoth Rap'Lur of the Kog'Lurs flanked him. The dust behind them settled upon a fatally wounded Rex Reksam, his body mangled and defiled with his tusks laid splintered upon the soils spoiled of its original scorpion design. The Orcs in the audience for the klomp began to beat their chests and hips, ecstatic at the result. They began to congregate in the unorganized alleys and roads of the Trog, chanting the name of the victor. They called him Tanfuksham'Dom or Almighty Dom, newly recognized as the Rex of the War Nation. He however knew himself only as Rusk'Dom, named so for his sturdy build like that of a battering ram used for sieges. His burly forehead crumpled with haughty delight as Orcs continued to revel in what had conspired in the arena. His dark mottled skin drew immediate remarks that he, Kridash, may very well be the most identical to Krug himself. The victor took his stand in the center of the Trog, vibrant in excited clansmen and other Orcs celebrating the result. Rusk'Dom rose his forearms, the horns of his bison skin rearing along his back and silenced the exuberance. He clenched a fist and shook it with admonishment, looking coolly along the faces of brown, black, and green that stared at him in anticipation. "Latz lung fur da battul'fuld, mi rezpekt da axe agh da zolt! Latz need nub' worri, latz traditiun' haz bin' prezerv'd wit' mi'. Latz' wull knuw agh wield da way ob' Strigz! Latz zeen da trod wi zuffur, but nub moor'! Latz wull take ub' da blade agh' raize culums ob' duzt! You longed for the battlefield, I respect the axe and blade! You need not worry, your tradition has been preserved with me. You will know and wield the Way of War! You seen the castration we suffered, but no more! You will take up the blade and raise columns of dust! The entire trog erupted in ecstasy, shamans ululating and chanting feverishly while Orcs slammed their skulls together and flexed in a bloodlust. The trog appeared cloaked in a storm of sand and dust, kicked up as the Orcs threw themselves into frenzies and wrestled each other as reciprocal shows of their own strengths in front of the new Rex. Ilikefooddude 430 Share Posted October 17, 2014 Thurak stands apart from the vigor and frenzy of the klomping, restraining himself from joining as he poses on a question from the doorway to his dusty Alchemy Shop in the Trog. How well would Rusk do? Shaking his head, he states aloud, "Ah hab blahed diz ash tik befur wiff Malog, agh heer ah wil blah id agun. Ah Zhawmun zhud nub beh Rekz- id haz nebbah gawn wel, agh nebbah weehl. Tuu mudch powah fur azh Uruk, tuu mudch tu guw wrung, agh tuu mudch tu luuze. Mae da zpiridz giyd Ruzk eehn heez leedahzhip, bud mae dae gib heem da zenze tu gib ah lezzah Uruk da tiytul. Da Urukz kood nub taek bowff ah Rekz agh ah Zhawmun bein' flatted." Samson Option 9652 Share Posted October 17, 2014 Kridash'Dom nods away in his small cave, fasting to strengthen his own fortitude and painting himself obscure designs along his body. He had said his piece with Rusk'Dom before leaving on his ascetic's journey, "Latz am mint tu' bi' Rex, mi am unly latz' helper fur' latz' am mi' ulder' bruddah".
