How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? My friend, who got accepted a long time ago, told me about this server. I was curious, looked it up on google, and here I am.

                                                                  

Definitions

What is roleplaying?: playing a character with specific behavior, personality and other things that specify the chosen role. The way they are around people. See it like acting, you take a role, learn your lines and start performing. In roleplaying you pick a race, learn everything about them and start playing your character. You could say that acting is the same.

 

What is metagaming?: Making use of knowledge that you obtained outside the game and use it for your own advantage. Your character doesn’t know what it is but you are. Metagaming gives problems with backlines and in-game experience because the player of the character already knows to much.

 

What is powergaming?: Making yourself as strong as possible using anything imaginable to defeat everything. They maximize a characters statics. It’s hard to make hard enough challenges for them. This leads to self-gaming, they follow their own path.

Biography:

A story about a young elf, left with his uncle because his parents died in the war against the Black Scourge. The war took place at Malinor, the oldest and biggest Elven nation. His uncle took him out of there after his parents brought him to the border. His uncle raised him in a forest close to Haelun’or. He became a sneaky, charming and also a loyal young man.

He loves to be in the nature. Blastorios can feel the nature around him, just like his uncle can. His uncle told him stories about his parents about how they would do crazy things with the nature around them, which fascinated Blastorios. Blastorios was curious what he could do with the nature, so he started experimenting. With plants like the FlameTongue Roots, Frost Vines and the Serpents Stalk. This gave him great knowledge over the power and the capabilities of the nature. His uncle stimulated him in his search for knowledge but his uncle also wanted him to relax, so he brought him every year to Nature’s Boon.

Blastorios wanted to travel for the Elder Trees. Starting with the Elder tree named En’leawyn. The tree of the Druids. The people that are connected with the wild. The travel was long and Blastorios felt alone even though he had all the nature around him he needed. So he went on the search for a friend, a companion on his journey. He arrived at the Primora Jungle. Here he met a fellow wood elf, Gillian. A somewhat older elf but with a strong will to search for treasures. Gillian would love to join Blastorios, so Blastorios got himself a companion. Blastorios and Gillian got close friends who could withstand everything as long as they could be together. They found the Elder Tree En’leawyn and Blastorios did what he was good at, bonding with nature. The Elder Tree (the main source of the forest) had so much strange features that Blastorios could go on forever with his research, but the guards named Ents held Blastorios back. Blastorios needed a way to pass them, a way to discover the powers of the Elder Tree. So he went on a quest, a quest to search for a solution to withstand the Ents. Gillian followed him in this adventure which would led to greatness.

Personality Traits: Blastorios Aragorn is a young charming elf. He is an easy talker. This comesi n handy because he feels easily lonely. He is also very wise, beside the fact that he picks looks over intelligence he knows what he is doing when it comes to battling or crafting (Most of the time atleast). He is also very brave, not scared to 1 versus 1 someone to proof their wrong and he is also very stubborn. As soon as he gets himself a strong opinion, he will never let it go. Blastorios also loves to travel and I don’t mean from town to town, but from country to country.

 

Ambitions: Learn as much as possible about the nature and its powers. Herbalism is also a strong factor. Travel around the world with a good friend.

 

Strengths/Talents: Herbalism, socializing, using nature to his advantage. Traveling far distances.

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Blastorios is someone who cannot get a straight focus. He gets easily distracted from his target. Blastorios is not a strong fighter, although he can fight pretty hard with nature, his hands aren’t very….painfull. Blastorios isn’t crafty with heavy metal, he prefers more soft like leather.
