What’s the rule you agree with the most?: Do not ruin the roleplaying for others.  The whole purpose of the server is to keep this atmosphere alive and well.  Not to spoil it for others.

 

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): I am a little unsure what the "spitefully died" rule is, where it is considered a suicide.

 

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I found out about it when searching for role playing servers.  I thought it looked really cool, so I decided I'd give it a go.

  

What is roleplaying?:  Changing a person's attitude to suit a role.

What is metagaming?:  Referring to a game universe outside of the game.

What is powergaming?: Depriving yourself of the story or atmosphere in a game by focusing on a certain goal, and only that goal.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

 

     The human highlander, Sporan, was abducted as a child from his parents.  His shadowy kidnappers kept him in the dark for many years, giving him enough food and water to survive.  Losing hope, he soon learned to read from the small collection of books that laid inside his trapper's rooms.  Learning tales of Godfrey, and many other great figures.  His favorite book is The Writings of Abdullah, as it details great adventure and excitement of the outside world.  The more he learned of this world beyond the dark, the more he longed to be free of his captors.  One day, he gained his wish.  After 18 years, Sporan's door was opened by a shadowy figure and revealed light.  Sporan was beaten, then blindfolded and bound, and thrown into the back of a horse cart, taken to a unknown location.  When he awoke, he removed the blindfold and binds to find himself in some strange woods. Immediately, he got on his feet and began looking for a clue where he was.

 

     Sporan soon discovered that he was in the Imperium of Oren from locals in the land.  However, regardless of where he was, he had one quest on his mind.  To find his parents, and to kill his kidnappers.  Sporan began to travel wishing to gain more and more knowledge about his surroundings, the world around him, and his parents.  Sporan knew that if he found his parents, he would be happy.  But, he would not be truly happy until he found his imprisoners and slaughtered them.  To this day, Sporan drives for knowledge and a thirst vengeance, and he will do whatever it takes to meet his goal.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Blonde hair, 6 feet 1 inch, 122 pounds (due to poor nutrition as a child, he's been trying to gain weight, successfully) light skin, but always masked by the robe he wears

• The Imperium of Oren was dissolved early in the map. It currently does not exist. You may want to read up on the history of the humans on the wiki.

 

To answer your question about the rule, according to LOTC lore, the monks are who revive people once they have died. If a player were to say, in character, "Oh, go ahead and kill me, the monks will revive me anyway", then the player will be required to permanently kill off their character.
