The birth of Kar'Alf

After the attacks and later destruction of Snowy Fields I sought out more peaceful lands where I can create instead of prevent from destruction. We heard of magical new lands down towards Haven and along the White Road. So, I gathered my belongings from my house at Al'Khazar, said my farewells and set off towards the White Road with my good friend Skath. As war torn soldiers, we marched, with the wind at our backs.

After many days of traveling we finally reached the legendary White Road. We began walking it, it seemed endless. On the first night we set up camp, we saw a light in the sky that seemed to grow. It kept getting larger and larger until it grew so immense that it set the sky ablaze with fire! The giant ball of fire landed beyond the hills next to our camp. We set out to see this mysterious ball of fire. When we approached the landing place, there was a huge crater where a still ablaze star sets on the scorched earth. I walked down into the crater to examine this alien rock. It didn't seem the same as most earth on Aegis, it had a little gleam and sparkle to it. Upon further examination I discovered very valuable ore within the fallen star! The next morning we began work on a house from which we will be able to mine the ores from this rock.

As the days passed, our wealth grew so did the area around us. First one house, then another, and it just kept growing. Very soon after, the town of Kar'Alf was born. The name was taken from the language of the Dwarves. "Kar" meaning rock and "Alf" meaning Sky. And so, the town of Skyrock err.. Kar'Alf was created.
