Yes, I first started out when I was 8-9, on the MMORPG World of Warcraft, and spent most of my time on that game RPing for a good 5-6 years or so. After I got tired of WoW, I spent some time RPing in the random free MMORPGs out there, on Guild Wars, or in forums up to this day.

Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - No, this will be my first time RPing in Minecraft.

Have you applied to this server before?(Please link past applications): - No, I have not.


 

How did you hear about us?: - I was looking for a RP server, and this one seems interesting.

What do you think the server will be like? – It sounds rather fun. I like the lore, the detail behind everything, and it’s in the perfect setting.

 

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes.

What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - Probably that you have to keep in character at all times/as much as you can.

What is roleplaying?: - An act. You take on the role of a character and immerse yourself in their world.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Where you have the character know of something they should not.

 

What’s powergaming?: - Making your character either god-like, invincible, all-knowing, or all three.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - 

Aren had a relatively normal childhood, growing up in Lin’evaral with her parents, Yu’ui Silveil (mother), a jeweler, and Keiles Silveil (father), a potions master. She always had a deep thirst for the knowledge of Anthos, spending most of her free days holed up in the nearest library, observing her fellows, or simply watching the world. She would often help her parents with their respective trades, learning the fine art her of her mother, twisting silver strands around fine jewels to make beautiful jewelry, or down in her father’s lab, learning of the many ingredients used in his trade, and exactly how to use them to brew the perfect potion.

 

When she reached 15 years of age she would often travel outside of her home city for the other Elven cities, such as Luminair, to see what knowledge they held. By her 18^th summer, she had adopted a sort of nomadic lifestyle, journeying outside of Malinor, traveling, doing odd jobs, and simply learning.

 

Recently, she returned to the forests, though not unscathed, coming home with a branching scar over her now unseeing right eye. She does not speak of it.

What are they like (personality)?: - 

 

Aren does not often talk, preferring to observe. She is quiet, reserved, and very polite. She masks her emotions well. When she does lose her temper, it’s usually a in a very cold way, she tends to become more polite, though with an edge of harsh sarcasm.

What are their ambitions?: - 

 

Aren’s ambition is to become a respected scholar. She wishes to know as much as she can about the history of Anthos, and the many trades of the world, specifically.

Do they have any special skills?: - 

 

She has a pretty good memory, able to remember much of what she reads or learns. She observes things closely, therefore noticing many things. She’s a very fast reader, writer, and learner, and she’s rather adept at potion-making and working with fine metals and jewels. She is also quite cunning.

What are their weaknesses?: - 

 

She does not have depth perception (I think I might play halfway to quake pro for this, it’s not the same, I’m sure, but it definitely messes with judging distance.), she is physically weak, not very good at any sort of combat other than the verbal kind, and she cannot keep track of time at all. She often zones out, loosing track of time and the rest of the world.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - 

 

She’s about 5’4, rather short, with a slim, average build. Her skin is rather pale, almost completely missing the golden hue of many High Elves. Her hair, which is long, wavy, and a light, silvery grey, is usually in a ponytail, which comes to her waist. Aren does not care much for the ‘high society’, elegant clothes of her fellows, often seen in simple but immaculate white collared shirts, dark vests, and dark, fitting trousers, her only purely Elven clothes being a light blue, short cape held to her back by two blue gems, a pair of silver and blue earrings, and a decorative blue metal piece set into the base of her ponytail. The collar of her shirt is almost always tied with a loose red ribbon. Her eyes are a silvery blue, the right one slightly clouded, unseeing. Taking up a large portion of the right side of her face, is a thin, pale red, branching scar.

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: - 

 

She rather dislikes her height, and would much rather you not to mention it, thank you. She’s a tad ashamed of her scar as well, what with growing up in a society that favors beauty.
