A Letter To The High Council

((This letter is between the High Council of Malinor and the Lord’s Council of Urguan. Any knowledge of this letter without proper RP, besides the people involved, will be considered metagaming, and any RP posts on this thread will be voided if not made in the form of a letter/discussion between the councils. To the High Council of Malinor,

 

Children of Malin, we write to you in this time of great sadness. We hope you realise your folly in aiding the sons of Horen earlier this elven day. You and your kind were tricked by the devious Humans and their allies, the Black Scourge. Whilst we tried to trick the Scourge into thinking that we were allies in hopes to learn more of their plans before turning the tides on this vile threat. But alas, we were outplayed. It is with great regret that I must inform that one of our most trusted lieutenants betrayed us for the Black Scourge. Corrupting his fellow soldiers and sending them forth to aid Setherein in the Battle of Lenfarthing. Then bringing forth the masked men to aid us, who were in truth members of the Scourge. During the battle this was was revealed to us, and although shocked, confused and mislead, we let them fight for us since since we were clearly outnumbered. The original plot of ours was revealed, and they turned on us not long after the battle.

 

The Humans play a role here as they have allied with Setherein to isolate the sons and daughters of Malin. You may have noticed a large checkpoint being erected where Thoringrad once stood. The Humans in their folly seek to emulate the White Rose, blocking off the way south and the way North. Isolating the children of Malin, so that in their most dire hour none may aid them. Be warned, for if Storms Crossing is to fall, then so shall you my friends. For if we’re disconnected from each other, we shall not able to assist. With our backs to Ondnarch and our fronts to Sethereins Forces, we will stand no chance.

 

I ask of you then, to not aid the humans in their plot. To stand watch over them, for it is as sure as night as day that when we fall, that they shall turn against you. Already they ape the old ways of the White Rose. Discriminating and persecuting those who have done no wrong, except be born as a certain race.  You may question our words, after the brief exchanges before the battle. But do you not see? With the destruction of Urguans children, so shall the children of Malin descend into Darkness. Our ruse failed, but not without us discovering the true nature of this threat.  I warn you not as a simple son of Urguan, but as a friend of Malinor. As a friend to all elven kind. Heed this warning, for if you should not I fear for us all.
