(( Hello! Recently I've returned to the server and found that Lenfarthing was.. destroyed? This means my old Burrow is long gone (so many items and time lost... guh) and I was wondering if I could return to the community and move into Number 1 Grumpy Lane. 

 

I fish, a lot, so can I provide plenty of foods or farm necessary items for the community. My only questions other than housing at that burrow:

 

What is the condition of the town these days and who are the folks in charge?

((Welcome back. At the moment nobody is officially in charge. ICly the sheriff takes control of law matters but most of us veterans hand burrows to newbies and help in building, political matters, and housing matters. We currently have a small OOC group of planners who take the lead in oocly in matters that the community needs attended to. If you have any questions just shoot a message/PM to me, Fumble, (ryanheff74), Bolo/Bungo (Dr_Dovahkiin/UrtrollingBuddy), Sherrif Rick (uracow), and Milo (Matt01101). About your items, you could go on a run to your burrow with a few other halflings (Sometimes we send a team of looters to get old stuff of value) and retrieve any of your personal belongings... just be wary of Scourge and wolves! As for the condition of the town we are quite active actually. Like Lenfarthing was earlier this summer.))

I can still find the old Lenfarthing then? Wow.. I wouldn't even know how to get there since the.. change to the map or whatever happened to the old Temple. Maybe I'll look into it.

((Alright. Tried PMing most of you. Looks like a lot of you have full inboxes so ... theres no way for me to contact you.

So, again, what are the new... Requirements to re-move-in to a burrow?

I OOcly checked my old home in Lenfarthing and it looks like someone was allowed to move in at somepoint without me being notified. All my items are long gone. Not that it matters that much since its "gone" but losing a lot of collected items and time stinks. All my old chests have someone else's lwc protection over them so no luck.

As far as the Burrow in question, it's listed as Vacant and moving in would be one less new place to have built. What kind of... system are you guys using to let people move in and try to be active?

Is there a need of more help to keep things rolling? If so, feel free to delegate things onto those of us who want to be active but wait hours on the server for the ones in charge to log in. Ive tried to help over the years but like today I was online almost the entire day while I had a day off. I RP'd with a lot of people (7 distinct conversations) asking about Halflings and Burrows alike and the surrounding lands. This included some new folks to the server.

Unfortunately I had no answers to give as there was no leadership available. We have to have a better system in place if we are to be this close to spawn. ))

It's a total gamble for when we are o line. We had five Halflings online at once yesterday but you can go for an hour without seeing one.

As for requirments for getting a burrow, just be active and don't be a jerk.
