History:

Born the son of Lord Edmund Stafyr and Lady Angelika Geminine many would think Farley’s life would be the noble dream, growing up in the largest castle of the south in one of the most peaceful regions of Oren, but alas so it was not.

Just a year after he was born, his mother suddenly disappeared leaving him and his older sister alone to be raised by their father.

With the help of servants and family members Lord Edmund managed to take good care of his two children, even though their mother was absent but chaos was about to strike.

The exodus happened and his father was thrown right into the fray of madness and chaos in what was the aftermath of the exodus but it would not last long.

Lord Edmund contracted TB and his health declined rapidly until he eventually passed away in his sleep, leaving Farley in the care of his aunt Leana who was named regent of House Stafyr until the now young lord Farley was of age.

The loss of his father and absence of his mother would have heavy effects on Farley, making so that he has trouble trusting people and feels unwanted.

 

His uncle Beron, the bastard son of Saint Godwein was named guardian over Farley and took him under his wing, teaching him how to read, write, speak properly, act accordingly and all manners that was expected by a lord.

His other uncle Alistier started to teach him how to fight in a very young age, just as Lord Edmund had taught him how to fight.

He quickly embraced both the quill and sword.

At the age of twelve his uncle Beron gifted him a falcon and taught him the art of falconry, something he has embraced as a large part of his life.

 

During the many years of chaos and madness in what used to be the Holy Oren Empire his aunt, who feared what could happen with House Stafyr if the house got involved with the unstable Orenian politics closed the gates to Schattenburg.

During those years seeing a member of House Stafyr roam the streets of the human realm was a rare instance.

On his sixteenth birthday Farley was officially put as head of House Stafyr, something he had been trained to be ever since he was a young boy, but is anyone really prepared for the duty?

 

The gates of Schattenburg were once again opened to the realm and House Stafyr ventured back into the human realm, as one of the few remaining noble houses of Old Oren.

 

The first year of his rule as lord was filled with peace but rebellion was brewing in the human realm as Sophia Horen claimed the throne.

His cousin Godwein II. was after a misunderstanding with the church, lashed by the High Ecclesiarch something which angered the young lord greatly.

House Stafyr was moments away of joining Sophia Horen’s cause and going into open scale rebellion against the Carrion crown, if it wasn’t for Walter Stafyr who as a Carrion loyalist arranged a meeting with the emperor to settle the matter before Farley had made his decision, an act that proved to be well for House Stafyr.

 

The young lord settled affairs with House Carrion and amends were made, Stafyr remained loyal to the crown and the same elven week the rebellion of Sophia Horen was over but alas, peace was not something achieved so easily.

Shortly after Sophia’s rebellion House Tarus pressed claims on the Orenian crown and declared war upon Oren, supported by the Teutonic Order and the Grand Kingdom of Urguan sieged Schattenburg.

After heavy and messy fighting, Oren came out victorious in the battle, this was also the first battle for Farley.

 

During these troubled times Farley met a woman, a commoner, called Asira, he fell in love with her and the two started a secret courtship but she had ambitions to become a druid and Farley was a lord, he decided to put his duty above her and told her to move to Malinor where she could follow her dream, he was heartbroken by the decision but told himself that his duty was more important than him.

He tried aimlessly to get her back but for reasons he could not see she turned him down, Farley made a decision that he would not open himself for anyone anymore.

Putting on the appearance of a lord who does what he is told and orders people to do, without a heart and feelings he acted as he should've and not like he wanted.

 

His ambitions in politics and behavior would later make King Heinrik name him his Lord Privy Seal and gain a seat in the Privy Council, later he was also named the Warden of the South.

It was at that time his mother would unexpectedly return, after being gone for over twenty years.

She explained her absence as to she had been searching for her brother but her travels had eventually ended and she decided to return, her husband now dead and her two children grown up.

His mother’s return would prove to have little effect on him or his issues as even though he was happy to see her return he did not trust her to stay nor did he dare to confide with her until her age caught up with her and she slowly started to lose her senses.

 

Many more battles against the scourge and enemies of Oren would slowly begin to change Farley, he was slowly turning into a very cynical young man who was losing his morale compass but due to a unexpected turn of events everything would turn bright.

It was a ordinary day, he'd decided to accompany his cousin Altes to the city of Abresi.

There he would rather surprisingly run into Milena of House Carrion, a woman his heart immediatly fell for yet his hidden scars from the past was hindering him, fearing rejection as he put on a facade.

 

It took time for him to break out of his facade and he eventually asked Milena for a courtship, to his relief she said yes and it did not take long for the two to confess their love for one another. 

After the wedding of Rydel Elendil and Evelyn Stafyr, taken by the moment Farley asked for her hand in marriage and in the center of Schattenburg she accepted.
