How did you hear about us?: - I was searching through different server genres, and stumbled upon you guys!
What do you think the server will be like? – I’m hoping it will be tons of fun!
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes sir!
What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - I really agree with the no bullying rule, and my favourite rule is keeping in character!

What is roleplaying?: -  Roleplaying is acting as a character you yourself has created. Kind of like being a character in a play!

What’s metagaming?: - I have no idea, but I think it has to do with hacking?

What’s powergaming?: - I think this has to do with countering other people’s actions in roleplay.

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What’s your character called?: - Florence Ellenae

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Elf/ High Elf

What sex are they?: - Female

How old are they?: - Nineteen.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing):  Florence was born in a decently sized town by the name of Moor in The Free Kingdom of Aerarium, which consisted of Elvish and Aduinans. When she was very small, she had an older brother by the name of Lunice, who was very talented and highly thought of. However, due to his constant travelling, he developed what seemed like the Plague, and he died within one Elven day.  This hit her parents very hard, and from then on little Florence was watched over at all times, as she was the last child her mother would ever have.

Of course this had its positives and negatives; like being a bit spoiled and always having her parents’ attention, but also being restricted from doing what Florence wished to, like venturing out of the town a her brother had the opportunity to. For the most part, Florence was perfectly happy with this sort of treatment and attention during her childhood years, but when she hit the age of fifteen she began to get sick of it. To her, it seemed that her parents were going too far: her curfews were far too early in the day, she could only wear certain clothing, her parents wouldn’t let her socialize with certain friends, read certain books, she couldn’t eat particular foods (in fear she might become ill), or even dye her hair (even though her mother dyed her own hair green), or even leave the town. It was when she finally hit the age of eighteen Florence had had enough.  One day she returned home with green hair rather than golden, and far past her curfew. Naturally her parents and her argued, and in the end her parents forbade her from ever leaving the house. They told her one day she would understand and see that they were in the right, as they were wiser than she, but Florence refused to believe so.

So, naturally, this angry teenager Florence found herself packing some clothing, money, and food and doing exactly what her parents told her not to—leave the house, and the town of Moor itself. Of course the first few days were awful. She had no place to sleep, no one to help her about, and she began to wonder if maybe her parents were right all along. After all, they weren’t all bad—they were always there for her when she needed them to be, and they taught her manners, kindness, magic, and so many other things. But this elf was too stubborn.

Over the course of several months, Florence found that she highly enjoyed travelling around and seeing new places, other races and how they lived, and just landscapes in general—but she wished she had left to do this on better terms back home. Of course there were a few scary moments, like running into a clan of Orcs, and being chased after zombies and the occasional skeleton. So now, at nineteen years old, little Florence simply travels around, gets into the rare sticky situation, and enjoys herself.

What are they like (personality)?: - Upon first meeting Florence, she is very polite and well-mannered. Whether it is revealing or not, the elf is also rather stubborn, which can lead her into a bit of trouble. In addition, Florence is very easily amused and fascinated with the people and the world around her, but at the same time she can be oblivious to what is being said to her or what is going on. She absolutely loves trying new things, although wants to know all the details of what that new thing is before she tries it. Although she isn’t the quietest, Florence goes- with the flow, and has obtained a decent about of patience towards people. She does her best to see things from their point of view, although depending on her opinion or the situation it can become a bit difficult.
 

What are their ambitions?: - So far all Florence wishes to do is see as much as possible of Anthos.

Do they have any special skills?: - Nothing in particular, other than being very used to dealing with the weather.

What are their weaknesses?: - Florence can be very stubborn and sometimes she makes rash decisions, as she’s still going through that ol’ rebellious teenager phase.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Florence is 5’7”, with big blue eyes and dyed pink-ish orange hair, which goes down to her lower-back. She either almost always has a look of fascination on her face, or a tired expression. Having of grown up with other elves and Aduinans, there’s a subtle gracefulness in the way she walks and presents herself.

Anything else you want to say about them?: - The choice of hair dye was her attempt to match the colour of a sunset/sunrise, which is what she loves to view the most. When it’s raining or the sky is cloudy around those hours, she may seem a little disappointed, but it’s nothing to worry about.
