How did you hear about us?: - I was looking for a medieval, Minecraft server with cities and numerous members.

What do you think the server will be like? – I think that this server will offer many adventures, great architecture, and sweeping landscapes in which to play.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - I have read the foregoing statues and readily give my consent.

What’s your favorite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - I like that greifing is prohibited due to the virtue that I put a great measure of effort into the construction and maintenance of my builds, and I do not wish to see them be destroyed without my consent.

What is roleplaying?: - For one to Role-play, he must construct an intricate personality for a fictional character, and he must act in accordance to the dictates of the fictional character's history, family, and community.

 

What’s metagaming?: - This is when one uses information that his character does not know.

 

What’s powergaming?: - This is entrapping a person so that he cannot make a move. For the one doing the powergaming, he is ensuring that he cannot loose.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - The James family has concrete documents from which it can trace its lineage dating back to the epoch of the Holy Oren Empire due to the efforts of Reverend Arthur James who, in the 1100s along with his monks, transcribed thousands of texts written during the beginning years of the city of Oren. The James family has always been political, Margareta James, in 1263, became the first woman to hold public office in her village on the outskirts of Oren when she was appointed by its mayor. Unfortunately, public opinion at the time dictated that a woman could not hold public office, and the townsfolk coerced Margareta to resign shortly thereafter. When the House Carrion rose to power in the late 1300s, the James family fell into political disfavor, and a great number of its members were captured and exiled save for Robert James and his wife, Anna. Robert had a peculiar condition which caused him to easily confuse and mix-up letters and numbers. Along with the fact that he was only mildly literate, when he filed his identification papers which were mandated by the government, he put down that his name was “Jawes”. The officials charged with capturing the James family consequently overlooked Robert ‘Jawes’ and his wife. Currently, the James family is not out of political disfavor, and, as such, they have no reason to be ashamed of their name. Robert and Anna had one son, Michael. Robert and Anna own a small farm and are in charge of maintaining the town’s public records, many of which were written by Arthur James. For this reason, Michael is able to grow plants in the cold and miserable climate of the north and take care of animals. In addition, Michael was apprenticed to an architect at the age of eleven. For this reason, Michael is able to take advantage of local resources to construct and design magnificent structures that are both beautiful and utilitarian. 

 

What are they like (personality)?: - Michael is very amicable, and polite. He has exceeding suave which he uses to his advantage. He is very knowledgeable about engineering and the workings of small-scale government due to his apprenticeship and his parents respectively.

 

What are their ambitions?: - He intends to move to a city where he will strive to construct magnificent edifices. Should this endeavor be unsuccessful, he will do everything in his power to become an influential governing figure preferably in the judicial sector.

 

Do they have any special skills?: -  He is able to talk his way out of difficult situations. Once, when a traveling band of rouges broke into his home while his parents were away on town business, he was able to convince the rouges that they were wasting their time on such a lowly house and that they should rather look elsewhere for money.

 

What are their weaknesses?: He is very literal and cannot grasp the concept of being sarcastic. He has a very dry sense of humor and takes offence when others are making inappropriate jokes (especially about his mother).

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - He has fair skin, a well-built body, and brown eyes which cause him to look tired all of the time.

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: - He hopes to continue the James family’s heritage.
