What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Elf , High Elf

 

What sex are they?: - Male

 

How old are they?: - 190

 

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - I was always the kid who wanted to show the world he was brave and that wanted to show he could do anything he wanted. I was raised in the town known as Old Malinor and like many kid I was adventures and love to read with my father and my mother. My mother would always tell me stories  about how my father sailed on a ship with her and she had another child. "Mother who is this other child you speak of ?" I would always ask , but I got the same cold feeling from her it was as if she was held back by a demon that she couldn't speak of it. A few years later I was at the age of 68 and she finally told me everything about this one called Merilon , I had a twin brother ! I was filled with joy I gathered all my belongings and traveled around the world to find him but no luck , I had only recieved sighting of the elusive Merilon. Yet at the same time I wouldn't let go of the fact that he was out there. "Is he dead ?" I asked myself quite often and I never felt that he was dead "Does he not care about finding me ?" all these little questions popped in my head and I gave up hope. A few more years passed and I have been training myself to fight and to be a skilled lumberjack. A month and a half ago I was given a letter from a hooded man saying my brother works for  an army and is head researcher for this army . The feelings of joy once more filled my stomach and I set off once more , and I currently am looking for him "Merilon I will find you !" My famous words while searching for him , though the more I search the closer I get or so it seems . I'm hoping to find this man known as brother and I hope we can grow together after all he is my twin.

 

What are they like (personality)?: - Funny , smart , a very quick thinker , a great treasure hunter , and loves to seek out the truth

 

What are their ambitions?: - To find his twin brother Merilon and seek the truth about why his mother split the two apart

 

Do they have any special skills?: - He is very good with an axe and can see farther than most Elves can

 

What are their weaknesses?: - Though he is a very quick thinker his right eye has a scar on it that causes his sight to fade in and out of blindness

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - He is tall wears tan robes and has grey hair and a scar on his right eye

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: - Gochon is a smart man but has his faults like everybody else

Your application has been denied for the following reasons:

 

- Your biography's story is quite weak; Your character hears he has a brother, who has never before been mentioned and it would seem nobody is aware of his location, so he just abandons everyone and his current life to go and find him with no trace or trail to follow? How exactly did your character learn to fight and become a 'skilled' lumberjack in this time (1-liners for explaining how you got skills are not acceptable)? Your entire biography seems to revolve around your character finding his brother... Even though this is clearly a big part of his life, it's quite a boring to stay on pretty much one topic for your entire biography. Tell us more events and interesting things that have had an impact on your character instead of dragging on about how he wishes to find his brother throughout the entire story.

 

- Your biography does not contain much server lore. Please add at lest another city and mention of one of the other races in Anthos. If you need help finding server lore, check out our official wiki: http://wiki.lordofthecraft.net/

 

- Your weakness is questionable for many reasons. Firstly, how does this scar cause his sight to just fade and come back? If it's a scar, it would suggest he is permanently blind, unless it were just a minor wound, but it certainly wouldn't cause his sight to fade in and out. Also, your character must have gotten this scar from somewhere; Why didn't you mention it anywhere in your biography? It probably would've made a good story.

 

Your applications are getting better, I'd say. Just make sure you try your hardest and spend a lot of time on your next one.
