The Karrirdmarr, for once, does not stir. It has not stirred for days. The manor of the alchemists remains seemingly abandoned. All the lights have been shut off, and the fire burning the the hearth has long died. Its great oaken doors are shut and barred, spells and oils put upon them so they cannot be opened from the outside. The small pine forest at the foot of the dwarven mountains remains calm, time staying still there. 

 

This time, the earth would rumble like never before. . .

 

This time. . .the Karrirdmarr and its inhabitants would prove what they really were. . .

 

"RHAAAAAaaaargh"

 

 

The snow shook under the shock wave of the roar, and the ice on the lake of Vaerhaven cracked at the rumbling the sound send through it. 

 

"Boom. . .boom"

 

Something approached. Giant footsteps were heard throughout the Valley. The sound did not originate from the Karrirdmarr. . .Shubmosha was too large to go through those doors or any doors. The sound came from a cave, a deep cave that led from the deeproads near the first snow elf fort that had been ever built. 

 

And so it surfaced. Its skin was covered in scales and its stature was that of the Karrirdmarr itself. The creature towered high above every tree. Its body was made from the scales of a Kraken and its very being was a grotesque abomination. Who knows what had been put together to create it.

 

The creature looked almost godlike.

 

 

By its side stood a few men. . .alchemists judging by their robes. One was a tall, pale two meter tall high elf with a smirk across its face and a dark aura about him. The other was a short, stout dwarf, almost white with eyes like burning embers who walked proudly.

 

The elf turned to the pale dwarf, making an obvious statement.

 

"We are insane."

 

The dwarf simply smiled, his smirk like a knife, and lifted his fedora. "Nae. . .we be genial."

 

Malineer laughed wickedly, accompanied by the deep, dark, ominous sound of Kardel's low rumbling chuckle, and after stopping, simply murmured "The scourge is not the only one with abominations. . ." The crew headed northwards.
