A New System

*Fimlin Grandaxe looks at his desk and thinks about how the King's Council has not entirely been active lately. He begins to write on a large scroll before he sends it to Grand King Wulfgar Grandaxe

recently I have seen some of the King's Council member's keep their guilds active, however others have not, anud nothing has been done to stop this and many lads have gone without work or pay due to this, this problem may not be as urgent but I belive action must be taken. It is for this reason I Lord Paladin Fimlin Grandaxe propose this new system to oversee the King's Council

This System Will:

-Ensure all Guilds remain active.

-Make Guilds strive to get an A rating.

-Automatically kick off inactive Guild Leaders without personal affairs getting in the way.

-Force Guild leaders to participate in his/her Guild.

-Increase productivity of Guilds and ensure it's members are being treated fairly.

-Ensure pay is given to the members of the Guild.

To Increase the pay every elven week a Guild leader may take a 5,000 minas loan from the Kingdom, this is only so if said Guild Leader cannot afford it himself.

Once a Guild has been rated an F the Guild Leader will have two elven days to step it up before said Guild Leader is removed automatically and an election will be held for a new one.

Grand King Wulfgar Grandaxe leans back in his throne, nodding his head slightly towards Fimlin as he reads out the amendment. He runs his fingers through his beard for a few moments before speaking.

 

"Ah duh nawt t'ink such an oidea particularleh reqoires an amendment... 'owevah ah loike wut ye ar' attemptin' tu duh tu improve production n' work by t'e guilds. Ah duh t'ink t'e t'ree t'ousand mina is ah wee bit steep alsuh. Per'aps ye should giv' t'e system ah troial wit'out t'e specific inclusion ov an amendment Fimlin n' weh will see wer' tu take it frum t'ere."

Section H: Minor Kingdom Issue Completion Amendment

• Requests for supply deliveries from the Kingdom to each guild can be made by the Leaders of each guild. Each supply delivery should not be valued at more than two-thousand five-hundred (2,500) minas in goods or five-thousand (5,000) minas in currency. A majority vote of at least three-fifths (3/5) by the Lords must follow each request for supplies and/or funding for it to be approved. Only one request per guild can be accepted within one Elven week. Upon acceptance the request must be completed within 3 Elven days from the time of acceptance.
• Leaders of the King's council are to receive one (1) farm animal of choice from the Kingdom every 2 Elven Weeks. The farm animal will only be given on request. The farm animal must be delivered within 2 Elven days from the time of the request. A farm animal is defined as any animal kept for use or profit.

If you manage to get three lords to agree to the minimum wage then it can be passed into law, but any Article changing laws cannot be passed as 4/5 lords must sign.
