James, Abraham and Lucas had all grown up together the north. They lived in a small town and learned to get along with each other despite the fact the James and Lucas were a halflings, and Abraham a Northerner. They lived unfortunately and unknowingly close to the Undead City. After a devastating attack by the undead the three decided to search for a place they can could farm and live in peace.

They wondered to the west till they find a nice lake they could live by. There was a small exclusive village near by that they had become friends with. Rather than attempting to settle in, they decided it was best to create their own small village, one that was welcome to all types of Humans, and soon Dwarfs as well. Thus Greenshire was born.

The town soon grew larger and acquired a few new members. Town Hall was designed to be a central part of Greenshire, a large notice board posted to inform all citizens of the town. A small tavern and Inn was established to feed and shelter travelers that needed a place to rest. A small trading post and bakery was added to initiate in commerce and draw additional people to the town. The fields, once packed with trees soon gave way to large expanses of wheat and a few more homes. The town population grew to over 10 people, each person with a sense of duty and purpose. Some built homes, toiled in the fields or searched below ground for jewels and other riches. The town vault soon opened and offered space to all residences as well as a few vaults that could be purchased by travelers.

Finally the King of Oren had been invited to view the town. After a short meeting and a tour around the town, he pledged that if needed the army of Oren would defend Greenshire from enemy forces. Despite this pledge of troops, Greenshire today remains a peaceful place, far from the conflicts with the Undead and the many wars between nations. James was quickly elected Mayor of Greenshire and to this day manages it in day to day operations. He over sees the additions of homes, new members and any future plans the citizens of Greenshire may have.

To this day, Greenshire continues to be an excellent producer of ale, bread and cake. You can often find their members twiddling away the hours under a nice large tree by the lake.

Peaceful outsiders are welcome to join us with a few drinks of ale or engage us with wild tales of the world outside of our town or even just to visit the trading post.

I seem ta' have settled the problems of which was caused by neighboring town with my fellow Rangers, they 'ave agreed to build strictly north after they tried to build a gate righ' next to us! They 'ave promised not to cause problems. Yer don't need to worry 'bout them anymore. Hopefully.
