I am writing a research analysis for my Women's and Gender Studies class. I have been collecting data for the past two weeks, but I never considered making an online survey. I would like to ask a few questions, and I would greatly appreciate the community's contribution to my work. The information gathered will be used strictly for study, and I will not bring anyone's name up.

Edit: I mainly look into how cartoons shape people's opinions about themselves. The thesis is something like, "Can critically analyizing stereotypes in the media cause introspection within the viewer?" Basically, I believe that by studying stereotypes about your own race you can dismiss or agree with part of it. After a while, the media realizes this and begins to change how race and gender is stereotyped. I used Johnny Bravo, Codename Kids Next Door, and the Flintstones in my work.

I myself have taken a junior class into social study, this has been a major topic in it. Stereotypes are merely the result of our nature of 'Generalization'.

Cartoons have done little to me, it was more movies & literature that gave me certain persona's to pursue and stereotypes to adopt. I believe that our generation of youngsters will easily be manipulated and changed through this.
