Deploying Adeptus Astartes, Imperial Guard, Ordo Malleus, Orod Hereticus, Ordo Xenos -- Welcome to another Warhammer 40k forum roleplay thread. In this, the forces Chaos have begun another Black Crusade, this is of course non-canon, and the Fourteenth Black Crusade, marshaled by Abaddon the Despoiler. He has assembled countless warbands and rogue Imperial assets, turncoats, daemons, and other foul creatures of the Warp. Xenos have also made an incursion into the Pale Stars, seeking tech, conquest, knowledge, or simply to annihilate all life. You will take the role of a small contingent of soldiers, varying in size based on the chosen race, rank, and seniority your main character has. The limit will be a small strike team, for Guardsmen around 150 men, Space Marines/Chaos Marines 30 men, Tau around 50, Eldar 40, Necrons 40, Sisters of Battle 40, Dark Eldar 50, Orks 70, Ordo Malleus (Inquisition) 10 Grey Knights, 30 Stormtroopers if you choose to omit Grey Knights, 60 Stormtroopers. Vehicles will be a rarity, and numbers can increase in size. Establishing advance bases and expanding will be crucial to maintaining your troops. Now this all sounds complex but it really isn't. Here is the map and further explanation. Imperial forces starts on Crows World, it is currently being overrun with Chaos Heretics. Chaos and Dark Eldar starts on Phargos Hex, a hellhole of a planet, which is a desolate wasteland. Tau will arrive above Larsa with a small fleet of ships. Eldar start in a Craftworld in the Wilderness Space region. Orks are also above Larsa in a Rok Kyro is desolate, filled with Tyranids right now (non-playable) and Larsa is dead. Nobody is sure what has happened to it. Any contact with the feral world Optera is also gone, and being probed by the Imperial Reclamation Fleet sent there. Now, here is your application. And sorry, I'm still rather new to the Warhammer RP though I learn more and more every second that I read about the Necrons, and I would love to do the first RP post, yet sadly I am being forced off the computer as it is 11:33 pm and I have school an need sleep.
