The Tau prepared their defenses as the Shas'o ordered them to be fixed. The pathfinders fell back and helped within the perimeter as much as they could. Drones came down in transport ships these were special drones used for defense. Sentry turrets and Air mines covered sides of the base as the forest was cleared around them.

The board side suits were placed on high alert as the scout drones would alert them to any activity, that wasn't Tau. The Shas'o radioed back to the ship asking for their hammerhead tank to be brought down.

A screech rings out, tendrils shoot up from the ground, lashing out at the Tau, a horde runs at the Tau strike team ready to devour them

A Chimera Tank rolls up, the call sign of the 10th Company "Fog Walkers" Death Korps, nicknamed for notorious gas shellings followed up by charges as the enemy choked to death.

The tank came to a halt, an officer exiting as the vehicle still came to a halt, he still wore his gas mask, and handed a data slate to the Colonel "Field Marshal Otto Von Haupt has ordered your Company to regroup with his own forces, and those of the Harakoni company. There is also a requisition order for replacement troops and munitions."

The Watchmaster turned and a Valkyrie Gunship landed, the officer entering it, and the Chimera bring grav-locked to the Gunship and taking off East

Upon reading the note the Colonel would scan for a location, ordering his men to pack up their supplies and move to rally with the Field Marshal. As the final preparations are made, the Basilisks, Heavy Weapon Team, and Squads move out. No man is left behind as the entire company moves to rally.

Chaos Warriors-Blood Pact

Phargos Hex

Etogaur Tao was thrown to the grond when the explosions went off. The Dark Eldar's leader had cheated death and escaped. His men were not all as fortunate and had to disengage. They began to pull off as the blood pact reeled, but Tao marshaled within hearing range. As his honor guard started firing, non shell shocked troops followed their lead and opened up. Rousing a war chant, Tao began to build up the troops blood lust. Then the Black legion arrived.

They sheer ferocity of their entrance stopped the Dark Eldar in their tracks. Space Marines were made for this type of war fair, and they were the hammer to the blood pact anvil. When it was over, the Blood Pact kneeled and sang praise. Killing the wounded Dark eldar for blood rituals, the Blood Pact settled down. Casualties had been heavy, and a list was brought to the Etogaur.

-_-_-_-

-20 blood pact dead-

-50 wounded-

-40 heretics dead-

-_-_-_-

Etogaur Tao walks up to Warlord Arkas, and bows.

"It is truly a blessing from the gods that you arrived when you did, my lord. Your coming certainly heralds the start of the end of the corpse-emperor, and I will do what ever I can to help that be. The Blood Pact is yours."

Death Korps of Krieg

First Army of Krieg

First Company

Crows World, Bastion of Steel

Otto stood in his command bunker within the freshly Liberated Bastion of Steel, the newly appointed Colonel was with him as well, observing data and organizing battle plans for the coming siege of a weapons and armor depot in the Polar North of Crows World, nicknamed "Frozen Piss" by regiments previously stationed there before all this mess, on account it could get so could, that taking a leak outside could mean you'd need to take an ice pick with you.

With a sigh, he would look out the blown open piece of the wall, squinting, he blink clicked the image finders in his lenses of his helm, scanning the horizon at the incoming Valhallan Ice Warriors and various other elements come to hold the Bastion of Steel as the joint forces of Krieg, Harakoni Warhawks, and Valhallan Ice Warriors went North.

He looked to the Harakoni Colonel, nodding, and adjourned the meeting, having the Death Rider Cavalry at the front of the Trenches be ready to escort their guests through the minefields and No-Mans-Land, they gathered at the edge of the Trench lines.

Meanwhile, the Field Marshal gathered his soldiers to receive the Major Maximus of the Cadian 412th, outside the Bastion.

~~~+~~~+~~~
Arkas looks to the man, gazing down from his lofty height. His voice crackling with the eldritch touch of 10,000 years of exposure to the Eye of Terror he speaks.
"Rejoice, worm, for Warmaster Abaddon the Despoiler has marked this subsector for desecration. The Gods will have their due, and their slaves richly rewarded."
His marines fan out and begin to search the battlefield. Some begin to butcher corpses for trophies, others snatching them from exultant cultists.
"The Warp is a cruel but loving mistress. She caresses us till we can take no more then spits us out, but always where there is fresh slaughter. Tell me, if you are the leader among the believers here, what benighted world is this?"
As this is happening, the shape in the clouds becomes apparent - an unholy strike cruiser, bedecked with daemon faced cannon and fleshy, folding boarding talons. Craft break off like parasites from its underbelly and bring forth a series of vehicles to the ground.
"Atten-tion!" echoes throughout the company as lieutenants order their men into a mass formation at the rally area, the Basilisks sitting behind waiting to rain death upon the enemies of the Imperium.
Tau Empire
The Shas'o ordered a full scaled retreat with a squad of pathfinders staying behind, the Hammerhead never touched the ground before the Trannids attacked the forward operation. But the sentry guns tore down some of the horde before being taken out and the mines blew up as the men charged.
The Pathfinders were killed in defending the retreat, but it was for the Greater Good. The Shas'o and the men retreated to the ship, their fleet was prepared to strike the planet when ready.
Larsa : Classified Dead : Old Mining World : Abandoned
  As activity on the dead planet begins to pickup with all the fighting, an old threat arises from their stasis tombs, the Necrons.  The Tomb World, Larsa was a valuable spot due to its resources and spacious environment, the Necrons quickly took over the planet.  Now a “dead” world, that the Imperium of Man had stopped mining from, the world laid dormant for years, now with the recent disturbance of the Tau, the Necron’s began to reawaken, ready to pounce and reclaim the sector for themselves.  As Necron’s began to come out of stasis, programmed to scourer the planet for threats to retaking Larsa.
keWf63O.jpg
  The Necrons left in groups of 5-10 units, 5 groups in total, mapping out the entire planet in its current condition.  Noting the changes in possible climate, the different races, in which the Necrons that found these squatters, killed without mercy or care for men, women, or children.  Finally finding the damned horde of creatures, tentacles, and the Tau as they retreated to their ship.  Finally returning to their stationed Monoliths, reporting of the current state of the planet, feeding all this information to the Megalith, and straight to the Overlord of the Sautekh Dynasty, Xinath’ako, for proper strategizing and how to come at this enemy, putting into account the minimal amount of forces needed to deal with this pestering group of insects, and to eradicate the planet of anything non Necron.  Xinath’ako finally making the last little calculation laid in wait for what the aliens would do, and if any other’s would arrive.
 Raven Guard 6th Company.
=Raven's Sight Scout Squad=
       RavenGuard.jpg
During the following days, Scout squad 'Raven's sight' made their way north, albeit slowly. The recon force chose to follow the tracks made by the various tracks and noise created by the mighty war-machines of the Imperial Guard.
Sergeant Vilatian, duly noted their movements as they followed, painstakingly memorizing their marching patterns as to prevent detection. Years within the chapter had taught him the very foundation of a successful execution of enemy forces. The best way to surprise the enemy was to make sure your ally was surprised to see you too. Men would often fail to conceal their confidence at a pending outflank or pincer movement especially from the Angel's of death.
He paused a moment, duly identifying one of the rumbling vehicles in the distance, barely detectable by even his hearing. Glancing to one of the scouts he gave a simple nod. "Heading north, tell the Captain" he uttered. The scout nodded back and went to work. With that the scout's fell back, their next actions to be determined.
Otto Von Haupt nods, hands behind his back as he approached the Colonel, keeping his respirator on "Colonel, I'm glad you arrived so soon. We depart now for the polar regions of the North, your men will be crucial in acquiring that region for us. So, any questions or shall we depart?"
The Tyranid let loose a roar and retreat, their attention turned as hordes of them are seen leaving the Hive, visible from orbit even.
Tyranids moved up in small hordes upon Necrons emerging from their Tombs, quickly being incinerated before larger more vicious monsters came to assault the emerging Necrons, this world was contested now.
"Aye sir. Will our force be the Vanguard? One of my platoons is currently under armament for long-range warfare," Nods to the Basiliks "With a few supporting infantry forces. Not best equipped for Front-line combat. But we can move with the other if we must."
